Chapter Eighty-four - Never

Warning: This chapter deals with strong confrontation with an abuser and their actions and behaviors. With a little on the mental and emotional aspect on the side.

Seidou stayed frozen within his seat, on the front with Kanae. "What if this doesn't work...?" "We'll make it work." Seidou rubbed his head. "A-And I trust you won't kill him?" Kanae grunted harshly, lightly tapping the steering wheel. "Tell me one reason why I shouldn't." Seidou lowered his eyebrows.

"H-He's human, like me... We're better than that, it wouldn't be right." Kanae turned over to look at the male. "Seidou, he abused you! HE DID ALL OF THAT TO YOU!" Seidou shook his head. "I-I know, I know! Don't you think I know that? But I can't afford to do that, especially not again. I NEVER want to feel like any of that, ever again!"

Kanae sighed, focusing back on the road. "A-Alright, but remember to give the single, before he makes things worse for you." The male nodded. "I know, and I will..." Kanae continued.

"Seidou, if this guy really is as 'dangerous' as you claim, why don't you tell-?" "NO! Nononono...no one can know about ANY of this. I told you that he had my family put against me, what more do you want to know?" Kanae shrugged. "I don't know, I just...I don't know! Maybe an anonymous tip to the CCG would-!" "We can't get them involved either, we just can't! Please Kanae, I just want this all to end already..." 

Hearing the pure frustration and fear within Seidou's voice, made Kanae realize that...things really shouldn't get any deeper than this. The female sighed. "O-Ok, ok... We'll get this over with, a-and we won't involve anyone else. Just try to calm down, I know seeing him again might bring you back to that god-awful place, so...try taking a breather." 

Seidou faced forward, smiling warmly at those words. "Thank you, Kanae. This means a lot, and I'm glad that I had told you." Kanae gives a warm smile as well, both do without the other being aware of it.

They soon make it to the isolated building, pretty early. "So you did say 4:30, correct?" "PM? Yes, that's what he told me..." It was currently 4:13 PM, and yet it might as well be hours before that bastard made an appearance. "Make sure he doesn't see you, not yet... And again, please don't..." Seidou makes a finger motion, gliding across his throat, appearing as cutting one's throat.

Kanae rolled her eyes. "I won't, as much as I want to...I want what's best for you. Adding to your body count won't make things better." Seidou wears this expression, kind of stating 'are you serious right now'. Kanae chuckled nervously. "Heh...I'll leave you..."

And so, Seidou stood there for the remaining time. It felt like an eternity, but Kanou did eventually walk in, on the dot. "Well well well, you actually showed. I honestly expected you to have skipped town or something, but hey...here you are." Seidou couldn't look at him, even if he forced himself to. He needed a moment before he could.

"So Takizawa, do you have an answer?" Seidou sighed deeply, shifting his eyes towards the older male before looking back away. He holds his arm as he spoke. "L-Leave my family out of this, please..."

Kanou scoffed. "Uh, what? And do you have a reason for this?" "My family have nothing to do with this, t-they did nothing wrong! So please, leave them alone and leave me alone!" Kanou rolled his eyes. 

"So your answer is 'no'?" Seidou finally turns his head up, looking at him straight ahead. "MY ANSWER IS LEAVE US ALONE! I REFUSE TO EVER GO BACK TO YOU, BUT I DON'T WANT YOU TO BRING HARM TO MY FAMILY!" Kanou again scoffed, shaking his head lightly. 

"I'm afraid than that...it's no longer an option for you. Honestly, you should've just said you would come back, so now they'll-!" Seidou runs up to the elder male, grabbing him by his collar. "KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OF MY FAMILY, YOU WILL NOT LAY A SINGLE FINGER ON THEM!!!"
