Into The Rose Garden (Seidou x Kanae/Karren)

Chapter One hundred and fourteen - Acceptance

(Author's note: This chapter hella long, like the longest by far I have written, which says a lot... But please don't go, I'm not asking any of you to speed through it. Take your time, read other fanfics, watch your favorite show, go on a walk, eat some food, whatever! Just try to remember this fanfic exists, I appreciate you guys, I promise that it's a lot, but it is plentiful for the upcoming ending!)

With a light huff, Seidou turned towards the gardens, a warm gentle glow on this early sunny summer morning. A year and nearly a half has passed since Seidou's emotional step in life. "Seidou, how are those marigolds coming around?" Seidou chuckled warmly, carrying the flowers in question, keeping his balance. "I've got them, they're on your way!" Matsumae nodded, before turning to Karren, who was wearing a light pink sundress as she knelt down to the other recently planted flowers.

"Good. It would seem that your lover boy has this all figured out, Karren." The young female, who at this point was now a respectable age of twenty years of age. Her hair cut way shorter, but still held a strong appeal of femininity. Having it sleeked back a little, with a red and black rose hair accessory to the left side of her head. "Yes, it would seem..." She commented, standing up slowly as she walked over to the male, whispering a seductive voice...keeping the naturally heavy accent. 

"You look so handsome when you work..." Seidou blushed softly, gulping in response, the female leaving a kiss on the cheek for the brunet male.

Seidou went over, sighing deeply, as he breathed in the fresh and fragrant air. It wasn't Karren's rose garden, but it was still rather peaceful. Saws went off, without even the male acknowledging them, it was warm, and most of all he got to be around everyone else as well! Life was, and it is, getting better for him.

Though there were still a lot be settle and accounted for, to be dealt with... The voice being one of these concerns for the male. It was still a curious mystery, with what Yoshimura had informed him of, or what appeared to have been a manifestation of the Yoshimura he's heard over and over and over again.

Still unsure on why he were to show kindness to the restless and vicious being, why it had fought against him all of that time it was dwelling inside of his mind, and most importantly...what is it, and where did it come from exactly? He couldn't force the day to come to him, he just...had to wait. For however long it would be, it was about waiting.

The flowers are planted, and everything else within the home is taken care of. Donut waltzes over to Seidou, bottles in her jaws. "My medication? Oh, I didn't take them today yet, have I?" The dog gently drops the bottles, walking away once more, bringing back a water bottle. Seidou takes out two tablets of the rc suppressants and two pills for nutrition. "Gah...still pretty bad..." Karren tilts her head at the male. 

"Does it still work? I know you had to have your prescription increase a little for the suppressants, but how is it going?" Seidou huffed, drinking the water as to drown the awful aftertaste away. "It's going fine, I just don't like the taste and the occasional belly aches..." "Do you wish to get off of it?" The female asked, her tone at ease. "What? Nah, yeah maybe it can get a little annoying...but it does help me, at least until I can manage my kagune on my own." "Oh, yeah I can understand that. You're getting there."

Seidou smiled warmly, standing back up and sighing with a feeling of relief. "I'm going to take Donut out for a walk." "May I join, mein geliebte?" The male nodded. "Of course, that's sounds great even!" The female leapt onto the male, giggling fondly, only to stand up straight and clear her throat awkwardly. "I mean, that would be...fine..." The girl responding in a mellow and somber tone after seeing the eyes of the other servants glance over at them.
