And so, Kanae and Seidou get to the back yard of the home, with Kanae 'showing off' his kagune. Seidou watches in awe and caution as Kanae had done so. Kanae scoffed, pulling his hair back. "What, surprised...?" "Well, the design and structure of it is...nothing I've ever seen before." Even with his experience as an investigator.
Kanae threw his head back, looking up into the sky as he aimed to strike the air. He however heard Seidou gasping, looking back down as he had covered his head with his arms. "Whoa whoa, come on Seidou, I'm not using it on you... Like, at all!" Seidou slowly uncovered himself.
"But it's still terrifying." Kanae scoffed. "Well it shouldn't be, that's a part of my body you're talking about there. Like a limb." "Or...a dangerous weapon..." Kanae rolled his eyes, lost for words with the male. "It has the ability to do what I WANT it to, not the other way around. It can ONLY be a weapon if I want it to be, there's nothing to be afraid of, Seidou."
Seidou then looked away, as he scratched his head. "Well yeah but... Kanae I...I don't think it's that easy for me. As you already knew, I was human before, so of course going through this functionality is-!" "Yeah, of course I get that. So...is that how you see your own?" Seidou sighed, nodding weakly.
"Goodness, well it's no wonder... Seidou, hang on, there's something I have to do." Seidou huffed, finding that to be somewhat ridiculous. "So...I should just wait here?" "Yes." Kanae simply responded back, before heading on up ahead.
Kanae was hoping to get Seidou to practice his kagune abilities with this exercise, however as he had realized...Seidou had a lot more complications than that. Which made him wonder, why didn't he think about that before? Seidou watched within the distance, as Kanae had begun...a phone call?
Kanae soon made it back and sighed. "Come on Seidou, road trip." To which Seidou tilted his head. "Uh, pardon?" "Come on, no need to pack your bags or anything."
Seidou crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. "Alright, fine."
Kanae bid Matsumae a farewell, as Seidou had brought Donut along. "Really Seidou, you're bringing Donut?" "W-Well yeah, I'm feeling a bit uneasy today." Kanae sighed, quickly grabbing a bag of dog treats for the road. "Alright, but keep her calm."
Seidou smiled softly, as the trio leave through the doors.
Seidou didn't know where Kanae would be taking him, he was just keeping it under wraps it seemed. Sometimes Seidou didn't know what to even think of that, like how was one suppose to really think about it anymore? Kanae and everyone just kind of took Seidou place to place, like...some kind of object.
"Hey, Kanae... Where are you taking me, is it bad?" Seidou turned his head to the male, whom was sitting in the back with Donut. "What do you mean...? What kind of bad do you mean? It's not bad, but-!" "Kanae, I'm not a pet. I have the right to know, and to go over it with you. Whatever it is, I just want to have an input on it."
Kanae sighed, turning back to look ahead of the road. "Well... I'm sorry, I just wanted it to be a surprise, but...we're going to talk to your teachers." Seidou tilted his head. "Yomo and Kirishima? But...the café is over that-!" "They're out of town, helping out with a bunch of kids; I think you'll find being around said kids to be...soothing."
Seidou raised an eyebrow. "Soothing how? Don't get me wrong, I love kids, but how?" "Oh, you'll find out." Seidou looked down onto Donut, and she just simply pants happily.
Eventually they did manage to reach some sort of...abandoned subway station. "Oh uh, wow... They're actually keeping children here?" Kanae scoffed. "Well I guess so, this is the right address she's given me. There aren't many safe places for ghoul children to-!" "Wait, ghoul children...?"
