Chapter Eighty-Seven - Close

Kanae becomes silent by the male's action, her eyes half closing as this new yet comforting feeling embraces her. Seidou's lips were softer than she imagined for a human, like cotton. Seidou was lost in his own action, taking him ten seconds before separating. That was his very, VERY, first kiss. It was better than how movies or books made it seem. Though perhaps a part of himself wished to know how else to act. And Kanae...Kanae was surprised but wanted more out of it. 

Without saying anything, he leaned into another one, only it became an open-mouth kiss. Once he separated his mouth from Kanae's to breathe, she asked him. "S-Seidou, are you sure that you're okay with this...?" He nodded softly. "With you, a-and only you... You always make me feel so safe and special, Kanae."

Seidou kept hovering over the female, until he went in for another one. The kiss was becoming deep, and passionate, causing them to separate briefly just to catch their breaths as they blushed immensely. Seidou held onto Kanae's head, holding her upper back with his other hand as it was clumsily shaking. However, Kanae accidently pressed her palm against the lower part of his stomach, causing him to flinch and stop.

Kanae pulls away her hand. "S-Sorry...!" Seidou shook his head. "No, it's okay. Let's keep going, just be careful with your hands, please." Kanae then came up with something, something to keep her hand occupied. She combs her fingers through his hair, holding onto his head and neck as the intimate moment went on. Seidou couldn't help but feel a growing heat spread into his chest all the way to his face.

'So, this is what kissing is about...? It's better than I ever imagined...much better.' He didn't want to stop, or make it any more intense. He was happy with the level of passion put into it, so happy. This feeling, he had to hold in with Kanae, was finally allowed to breathe and express itself. He couldn't deny any of it anymore, as crazy as it was, he had to tell the truth.

"Kanae..." Seidou calmly states as he separated their lips, with Kanae looking up in wonder, her eyes responding to him alone. "I'm in love with you... I love you, Kanae..." To which, Kanae responded with a kiss as well. Holding onto his face as this went on. "Say it again, Seidou..." "I love you." She kisses him again before asking again. "Again." "I love you."

Kissing him again. "One more time, please." "Ich liebe dich, Kanae..." Embracing one another, with Seidou lifting her up, and with the two sitting up. Kanae this time, becomes the one to separate from his lips. "Seidou...are you sure you're okay with this, absolutely sure?" 

Seidou nods as he chuckled lightly. "Y-Yes, I'm sure! I-I...I like kissing you, it's much better than I thought it would be..." Kanae sighs softly as they bring their mouths close together again. Kanae holds onto his face gently, taking a breath between kissing, as they previously had. Seidou shut his eyes for most of that time, but opened his eyes occasionally just to look into her eyes.

He couldn't help but think to himself. 'I can't stop, why can't I? Why does this feel so...comforting? I don't want to stop, but I know we have to eventually. I...I love her.' But then, a scarier thought came along.

'You're going to hurt her, she'll breakdown somehow. You can't even have her touch you anywhere down there, so why should you feel great about this?!' Causing the male to freeze up, mid-session. Kanae quickly noticed. 

"S-Seidou, what's wrong? W-We're going to stop, alright? Seidou, what is it?" The female gently grabbed onto his face, looking into his eyes. Seidou lowered his eyebrows. "I-I don't want to stop, I don't! It's just, the voice is back..." She tilts her head. "The voice, you mean the one in your head...?" "Y-Yeah..."

Kanae sighed softly. "It's alright, it knows nothing! What did it tell you this time...?" Kanae places her forehead onto his, and Seidou takes a breath. "T-That I could hurt you, if I'm too passionate. A-And...I shouldn't feel great about it, just because I can't get over the..." "Hey, hey! You won't hurt me, I trust you. Put a little more faith into yourself as well. We can stop, if you want. Or continue or even take a break...what matters is that you feel safe, and actually enjoy this."

Seidou looked away for a bit, before smiling warmly. "N-No, I want to continue! I love you, and I'm not ready to stop. Can we continue for another minute...?" The female nods. "Of course."

Seidou holds onto the female tightly, fearing as if she would just disappear if he were to let go. Once a minute has passed, the two just hold onto each other. "Kanae...you're so delicate, but your skin and muscles feel strong and stable. Is it from your training, or were you always like this...?" Kanae scoffed.

"Ghouls are naturally built with tough skin, but I worked hard for this figure of mine. All ghouls should." Kanae sighed calmly, nuzzling up close to the male. "But Seidou, your skin is still so soft...it would be a shame if your ghoul skin suddenly grew in." Seidou chuckled. "That can't be right, my whole body must have adapted already." "Heh, well...not your lips, that's for sure."

Seidou buried his face into her shoulder, as he held onto her even more. "Don't leave me, please Kanae..." The female sighed, holding onto him the exact same way. "I won't...who would want to leave you? Just let me know when you're ready to head home." Seidou looked up at her, smiling.

"I-I'm ready...just stay close to me for now. A-And...can I just give you a small peck, on the lips?" The female bursts out in a fit of laughter, closing her eyes as she did so. "You're acting like we didn't just kiss a moment ago! Hahaha!"

Seidou blushes immensely, smiling weakly. "T-That was my first kiss, you know..." Kanae's eyes widen. "Wait, really?! You?! I'm surprised, y-you're twenty-one and you...?" "I-I never found the right time or person." Kanae shook her head. "No it's just...it was my first kiss too, and it...kind of really lovely."

Seidou blushed softly, pecking the female on the lips, leaving her silent. Kanae cleared her throat. "R-Right...um... Let's go..." As she slowly began to blush more and more, she lifted herself up. Seidou pointed finger guns in her direction. 

"O-Oh, by the way... I uh, d-didn't mean to make anything awkward between us..." Kanae snorted softly. "Us? That? Awkward?! It was barely awkward, just difficult to transition from, ok?" Seidou groaned as he stood up. "Right! Ugh, how do people just...switch from that?!" "I know! I'm German and yet I couldn't figure that detail out!" 

Seidou scoffed, tilting his head. "Not French..." Kanae rolled her eyes. "Yeah yeah, the country of romance. Honestly a little...overrated." Seidou snorted, walking over to close his suitcase. "Oh ho, and Germany is SO much better?" "I don't know, I just think France is, well overrated. But yeah, Germany is...beautiful..."

Seidou rolled his eyes. "I don't know Kanae, it sounds like you have quite the bias because it was your home." Kanae smiled warmly, taking her suitcases to her sides. "Yeah, well...maybe you should see it for yourself..." Seidou's eyes widen.

"T-Together...?" Kanae paused for a moment, thinking of an answer before nodding. "Ja, natürlich. Zusammen..."

The two then leave the hotel, side-by-side outside as Seidou kept on glancing over at the female sheepishly, causing Kanae to giggle affectionately. Slamming the car doors, placing their bags within the back before entering themselves.

They drive along, blissfully as they chattered and laughed along. However without even knowing what was to approach them as they did. Because unknowingly...they were to be followed, by an unknown vehicle as it slowly and carefully followed closely, yet within the proper distance behind.

So close...for everything to go completely wrong.
