The pair enter into the room, with Kanae sighing softly and Seidou dragging his feet as he walked along. Seidou sits onto a nearby dresser, dangling his feet. He hesitated to say much of anything, but made himself once Kanae began packing her things.

"Hey, Kanae...?" Without turning, Kanae responds. "Yeah, what is it Seidou?" "I-I just wanted to thank you, f-for defending me against Kanou." Kanae smirked to herself. "Of course. Someone needed to, he just can't treat people like that. It's really messed up." Seidou chuckled lightly. "Hey, welcome to my world. Ha...ha."

Seidou again sighed. "Still, that was...terrifying. And I'm not looking forward to ever speaking with him again." "I don't know how you've managed to for this long, can't imagine how draining that would be." Seidou rolled his eyes, resting his chin onto the palm of his hand. "Believe me, it was beyond draining! I'm just glad my family isn't involved anymore, they had nothing to do with it..." The male stated, as he leapt off the dresser and sat down onto the mattress.

Kanae clears her throat. "Pardon my interruption, but would you care for me to change the subject?" The male nodded, sheepishly and softly. "Yes, please. That would genuinely help right now."

Kanae cleared her throat, walking over to the male as she took a seat right by him. The male flinches, causing Kanae to scoot back a little. "O-Oh, sorry. Are you alright with me being here?" "Yeah, it was just a little unexpected for me."

Kanae sighs softly, crossing her arms. "Seidou, I'm glad I was there that night at the auction. The truth was, I wasn't even considering showing up, but seeing how master Shuu was starting to get...I just went for it. And I saw you, and I thought that...you could help him somehow." Kanae paused, feeling a little guilty for not giving the whole truth.

"And of course, I don't need to remind you on how I acted towards you. I was rude and annoyed, and it wasn't right of me. I'm just really bad at first introductions, I guess." Seidou felt really drained, so he could only listen without looking at her.

"There was a lot you didn't know about me, and vise versa. To me, you always looked so sad behind those eyes of yours, even in our happiest moments with the others. But after what we've gone through, I finally got to see a side to you that explained that sadness. And seeing you for the first time, it felt like you were a lot like me..."

Kanae turned her body towards the male. "There's a lot more to you than I initially thought, and sometimes it feels like I want to learn more." Seidou turned his head slightly, wearing a lightened expression, without a smile appearing. Seidou took a gulp before he spoke.

"I-I get that, with you I mean! To be honest, if you think I was mysterious to you, since the moment we've met I wanted to know about 'this stranger before me'. I-I thought it would be impossible, because to me you looked like such a powerful volt that just didn't have a code to open it up with." Seidou went back to lowering his head, sighing calmly.

"So when you told me about your past, your insecurities, I felt really puzzled. You allowed yourself to be open, and I couldn't decide whether or not I was satisfied." Seidou scoffed, shaking his head.

"I'm sorry, I seemed to have taken over the conversation. This was yours and I-!" "N-Nein, I'm just glad that you could feel the same way. You've allowed me to put my guard down, and actually talk about my problems. It's hard to explain, but you make me feel seen." Seidou slowly got up, listening as he began to pack up his belongings.

"Seidou, I-I think I might really like..." "Hmm...?" Seidou was still facing away from the female, as she sighed. "Uh...I really like your company. Actually...no, I like more than that... Seidou, there's a lot I have to say, a-and you don't have to say anything..."
