Chapter Ninety-eight - Personal heirloom

Seidou and Kanae laugh and snicker, within the café 'Re:'. Out on a little date. "Wow Seidou, you were really into food as a human, huh?" "All except for carrots." The female laughed, drawing attention. Not from her laughing, but because of her clothing choices.

It's like every time the two went out on their own, she would become more and more girly...Seidou liked it. Although he liked Kanae in either dressing choices, it was just really adorable to see her act so feminine. 

Touka went up to the two, giving a wink as she handed the couple two cups of coffee. Again happy to see the couple. "Again, it's on the house~!" "Thanks, Kirishima." The female snorted, waving it off. "Oh, it's nothing. Though it's surprising seeing the two of you out like this..." Seidou laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his head. "W-We're keeping it on the downlow..." Commented the male, while as Kanae leaned forward. 

"Please don't share this with master Shuu!" "No worries, I get it. Personally, I don't really share anything with the guy myself, let alone anyone else's love life." Seidou scoffed, looking up ahead. 

"It's not that we're not...trusting of him or anything, i-it's just..." "Really, no worries. Like I've said, I get it. This is something you two just...want to enjoy by yourselves." Touka bowed, waving at the two as she turned away. "Have fun you two~!"

Seidou sighed, holding his cup with both hands as he blew into his piping beverage. Kanae's eyes lower as she stir her finger around the rim of hers. "I'm sorry..." Seidou lifted his head up. "What?"

"I'm sorry that...I want things to stay like this, private and hidden. Our little secret." Seidou scoffed lightly. "Well not a complete secret, Matsumae knows." Kanae turned her head up. "Yeah, because of course she does. It's just...I really like you, love you, Seidou. I wouldn't want this to make you feel...ashamed or as an embarrassment."

Seidou rolled his eyes, as he took a sip from his cup of joe. "I know, and sometimes it can feel like that, but trust me when I say that in the end...it doesn't matter to me. Sure I...don't like concealing our relationship from everyone else, I'm just glad to still do stuff with you." 

The male smiled warmly. "I've been in a relationship before, sure, but I never got to this level of comfort I feel around you. There are reasons for me being greatly inexperienced when it comes to stuff like this. You were a lot of firsts for me..." Seidou began to blush softly.

"My first dance, my first kiss, and even my first love." Seidou shuts his eyes as he wore the widest grin upon his face. "You have brought so much happiness into my life, and being with you, even like this, means more than you know." Kanae's eyes began to water a little, as she lifted her head as to stop them falling.

"Kanae, are you-?" "I-I'm fine, okay even! I-It's just...hearing you say something so meaningful just..." Kanae sighed, looking back down. "I'm sorry, but hearing that...I don't know, it's so very beautiful, but..." Seidou tilts his head. "But what...?" Kanae looked away.

"I don't know, it feels like I don't deserve it...?" Seidou scoffed, placing his hand gently onto the female's. "You deserve all the love~!" She smiled warmly, sighing. "Oh you~..."

That very night, Kanae groaned and struggled within her sleep. Her sheets falling right off as she moved around, making her body shiver as she dreamt. The dream itself started peaceful enough, with her and Seidou doing their thing, until...

As she held his dream self, her hands had been stained with blood and tears, looking up at his face as his left eye bled greatly as he began to sob. "S...Seidou...?!" Only for his body to be snatched away by an unseen figure. Kanae panicked as she began to look around and holding her own hands.
