Into The Rose Garden (Seidou x Kanae/Karren)

Chapter Sixty-five - Arrival

Kanae paces around, biting his thumbnail anxiously. "Oh Matsumae, are we sure it's safe for Seidou to come back home?" Matsumae sighs, sitting rather calmly. "Kanae, you're the most worried out of everyone else here, sit down!" "Why?! You all care about him, don't you?!" 

Matsumae chuckles softly. "Of course we do, but you seem even more worried than you should be. What happened to the Kanae that wasn't so...soft to Seidou?" Kanae blushes softly, shutting his eyes and grunts. "Come on, I'm honestly surprised by any of you." Matsumae rolled her eyes.

"Surprised by us, how so?" "W-Well-!" Kanae blushed, looking away for four seconds. "You all baby Seidou, s-so you guys should be the ones worrying here right now!" Shuu chuckled softly. "Heh, and here you are, the one still worrying their head off." 

Kanae blushed even more. Turning his body away, he clears his throat. "Well, whatever. I-I'm not so worried anymore, so you guys don't have to comment. Honestly, I don't even care-!" The entrance door opens, Seidou's head popping through. "Hey guys, I'm back from-!" "SEIDOU!" 

Kanae runs over to the male, as Seidou fully enters into the home. "How was it, were Kirishima and Mr. Yomo-?" Everyone smirked at the younger, but very stubborn, male. Causing Kanae to again clear his throat, standing up straight. 

"Right, um...w-welcome back, Seidou..." Kanae had stated calmly, his eyes shut as he kept on blushing. "Now, you may go into your room and unpack. It's been a long few days." Seidou nodded weakly, keeping on a forced smile. 

"Will do..." As he had begun to climb up the stairs, he turned his head slightly. "Thanks Rosewald-..." "Kanae." The male corrected. Everyone glanced at Kanae with surprise, even Seidou.

"W-What...?" Kanae rolled his eyes, sighing greatly with irritation. "You have the right to call me 'Kanae', you know... Like, how long have you been here now?" Seidou's eyes widen, nodding softly. "Y-Yeah, I see your point. Thank you..." Seidou smiled warmly. "Kanae." He finished.

Kanae scoffed, turning his head away as he waved him off. "Yeah yeah, just take it easy today. You just got back, after all." Seidou smiled even weaker than the last. Something was up, and Kanae had this nagging feeling.

After an hour or two, Kanae made his way to Seidou's room, knocking gently. "Come in." Kanae opens the door, rather warry. "Hey... I just wanted to check up on you." Seidou shrugs. "What for?" "Well, you seemed kind of...off. Just off, is something going on?"

Seidou smiles softly. "Well if it's about that losing game on Wednesday, than I have the right to be upset. Hehe." Kanae scoffed. "Though that was...an embarrassing loss, that is not what I mean."

Seidou's smile fades, as his forced ignorance was coming to a close. "Seidou, did you...have the nightmares again?" "Why do you ask?" Kanae crossed his arms. "Whenever you were down or off, it was either due to nightmares or something trapped in your mind. So you might as well spill it, because ironically enough I know you really well, more than I really should."

Seidou had more than the nightmares within his mind, but he had to go off of something to get Kanae off his back. "Y-Yes...I've had the nightmares again, while I stayed there. But they were...different, and I don't want to explain it." "Hey, it's fine if you don't. I'm used to you doing that, so don't worry." 

Seidou sighed, holding his chest gently. "It...was too real, and yet so very surreal. Just like the other nightmares I've had, it was crazy." Kanae tilted his head, still somewhat concerned over the real issue of this. However, politely chose to drop it.

Seidou just got back, and going into something he shouldn't wasn't really a noble act. "Alright, I'm sorry about that. I know how bad those nightmares can get, I mean I've seen what they've done to you at least."
