To be 'simple yet thoughtful'. Now that was a complicated request, curtesy of Shuu to Seidou. Yes, Shuu asked Seidou in particular. Yeah, he thought it was bizarre as well. Seidou chuckled softly as he strolled into town beside Matsumae. She couldn't let him go alone, because God forbid that he would find the search poster.
What were they doing in town? And what this simple request did Shuu ask of him? Why, only for a special occasion as...Kanae's birthday!
Kanae has been always helpful around the home, putting everyone else before himself. Hell, he somehow managed to forget about his own birthday. Not that he necessarily 'forgot', but he just lost track of time and didn't realize what day it was.
Matsumae gasped softly. "What about stuff like this?" Purple balloons. Seidou shook his head. "Matsumae...I thought you knew Kanae pretty well..." "I-It's been a while, he and I just...don't find the time anymore..." Seidou sighed, finding that rather silly since he and Kanae spend plenty of time together.
"Matsumae...he likes red colors, that's a basic fact." Matsumae cleared her throat. "I-I'm sorry, I forgot about that. He still likes flowers, right?" Seidou nodded. "Yes, specifically roses." "Wow, I didn't think you knew that much about Kanae, Seidou."
Seidou scoffed softly. "We talk a lot, and I really do try my best to remember." Matsumae smiled softly. "So, what do you think about Kanae, on a personal level?" Seidou shrugged. "He's pretty cool, but pretty uptight. However, he seems very...protective, in a good way. Even if he can be rude and stuff, I still enjoy having him around. He's a good friend, and there when I need him most."
Matsumae smiled softly, turning her head away. "What has been happening between you two? You used to go at each other's throats!" Seidou chuckled softly, closing his eye. That comment seemed...common. "Come on, was it that bad?" "Uh, yeah. But...I'm glad things are no longer like that. Shuu isn't the only one in the home that needs more friends, Kanae gets very...lonely, even with me around." Matsumae sighed, as Seidou slowly picked up a bouquet of roses from the market.
"I couldn't...I couldn't even remember his favorite color; I'm not a good friend, am I?" Seidou lowered his brows, as he leaned forward to comfort the female. "Hey, that's not true. Sometimes we forget little facts, it happens to the best of us. Especially me, one time I forgot my own sister's birthday one year, I felt awful after that. Hell, it took me days to remember a good friend's whole name." Seidou paused, looking down at the roses. "I probably would've forgotten it was Kanae's birthday if it weren't for Shuu. So much has been happening, I've been busy and... I'm glad he reminded me."
Matsumae smiled at the male, grateful for his words. "Thank you, Seidou. You know, I didn't think you would be saying this much, it's an improvement." Seidou nodded, as he begun explaining himself. "My therapist wanted me to open up more, to feel...heard I guess."
Matsumae and Seidou made another stop to get even more roses, before going over for party supplies. Buying red and pink balloons, as well as ribbons of the same color. Seidou covered his face with a mask of some kind of demon, with Matsumae laughing beside him.
"Seidou, come on!" The male smirked, taking the mask off. "Oh, and Matsumae... Kanae loves music, mostly the violin, right?" Matsumae scoffed. "Well, yeah." Seidou held out some music themed stickers. "Well, then let us get these for decoration! He'll love them, come one!"
Matsumae sighed softly. "Very well... Anything else?" Seidou placed his hand under his chin, holding it. "Hmm... Well, he sure loves Germany." "Well that makes sense, he's from there, you know." Seidou nodded. "I know, and that's why we should theme that too. He...really misses it there, I feel a little bad for him. It must being really hard, being so very far from your home."
