Several DA meetings passed by. Every student was progressing with defensive spells, charms, and dueling. It made Katherine happy to see Neville grow confident with himself. His spell casting was getting stronger and quicker. Umbridge detected something was going on and was desperately trying to figure out the DA meetings' place.
Meanwhile, Dumbledore's meetings were running smoothly. He hadn't done any spells on Katherine. Dumbledore claimed he wanted to explain the spells he was going to cast. Today was the day that Dumbledore and Katherine were going to test her spell resistance.
"Are you sure you are okay with me doing the Imperius Curse?" Dumbledore asked with his low voice.
"Yes, sir," Katherine responded.
"Imperio!" Dumbledore started to make Katherine walk around the room.
This spell was stronger than Barty Crouch's was. Katherine took deep breaths and thought about the anger she had towards Barty Crouch Jr. and how her mother was tortured by a blood purist. Eventually, she stopped walking. Katherine looked at Dumbledore, who had an impressed smile.
"Very well done, Katherine," Dumbledore said. "I want to do some nonverbal spells, and then we can return to the Imperius Curse."
"Okay," Katherine said excitedly.
Dumbledore pointed his wand at Katherine. A light came out, but Katherine only stumbled a bit. The headmaster cast another one, but with more force. This made Katherine fall on her butt; Dumbledore smirked at the sight, trying not to laugh.
"It's alright, professor. You can laugh," Katherine smiled. Dumbledore let out a chuckle while she stood up. "So what nonverbals were you casting?"
"Stupefy," Dumbledore answered. "I wasn't expecting you to have this amount of resistance, Katherine. I'm really impressed."
"At this rate, what do you think will happen if a death eater cast a nonverbal my way?" Katherine sat on a chair.
"I think it won't affect you," Dumbledore smiled. "Not to—what do muggles say? Oh yes! Not to toot my own horn, but I have a powerful wand."
"Really? What is your wand made of?" Katherine was always intrigued by wands. She always used to say it ran in the family, but she couldn't say that now.
"That is a secret, Katherine," Dumbledore smirked. "It's getting late. You don't want to be caught, my Professor Umbridge. Goodnight."
"Good night."

Katherine rushed to the dining hall the following day. She was itching to tell George what had happened. When Katherine arrived, she looked at the Gryffindor table. Everyone was missing except for Hermione. She was sadly reading a book; Katherine thought nothing of it. Hermione was always early while the Weasley bunch and Harry had lousy timing.
"Hey Hermione!" said Katherine. She sat next to the brainy witch and piled some pancakes onto her plate.
"Hey," Hermione mumbled. Katherine looked at the girl. She noticed Hermione wasn't reading the book; she was staring at the page.
"What's wrong?" Katherine questioned. Hermione sighed, not taking her eyes off of the page.
"It's nothing," Hermione quickly said.
"Yea, that's not going to work, Hermione," Katherine pursed her lips, looking at her friend. Hermione didn't answer; she just looked at the empty seat next to her and sighed. "Where is everyone, by the way? Is that what's wrong with you?"
"Yea," Hermione mumbled. She looked around to make sure no one was looking and slid closer to Katherine. "Something happened to Mr. Weasley, but I'm not sure what. Harry and Ron wouldn't tell me when they left the common room last night with Ginny and the twins."
Katherine shot up and ran to her common room. When she reached her dorm, Katherine opened her drawers and pulled out some parchment and a quill. The Hufflepuff started to write a letter to George.
Dear George,
Hermione just informed me something is wrong with Mr. Weasley and that you left Hogwarts. What happened? Why did Harry go with you guys? I'm very worried. I know there are only two more days until Christmas break, but I would like you to respond ASAP! I love you and hope your dad is okay.
Love, Katherine
Katherine folded the note and sprinted to the owlery. She found Miles and gave him the letter. Katherine whispered the address of where the Weasleys were bound to be and watched Miles fly away. Turning around, Katherine saw Umbridge sweetly smiling at her.
"Miss. Ollivander, who did you mail that letter to?" asked the professor.
"My grandfather," Katherine lied. "I haven't spoken to him in a while, and I didn't want to make him feel like I forgot about him."
"Hmm," Umbridge looked around and then back at Katherine. "It's an incredible coincidence that the Weasley's and Mr. Potter disappeared recently, and you are sending a letter during breakfast time, isn't it?
"Wait, George isn't here?" Katherine played dumb. "He was just here last night."
Umbridge narrowed her eyes and started to study the Hufflepuff's face. The professor wanted to find a sign that Katherine was lying, but Katherine put on a good front. Umbridge huffed and walked out of the room. Katherine let out a sigh of relief and looked out the window. What happened?
