Harry walked around as he watched everyone try to conjure their Patronuses. Neville was having a hard time as well as many others. Some had an easier time, like Cho Chang, whose Patronus was an elegant swan. Hermione had an otter, and Ron had some sort of dog.

Katherine knew she had to think of a happy memory. She had a hard time picking which one. Katherine couldn't think of her mom; she didn't have enough memories of her to conjure a Patronus. Obviously, her father was out of the question. Ollivander didn't work either. There were only two more people that Katherine could think of. George and Sirius. Katherine closed her eyes and started to think of the two men. When George first kissed her, when she found out Sirius was her uncle, the promise ring, the late-night talks she shared with Sirius. Katherine opened her eyes.

    "Expecto Patronum!"

Silver mist sprang from Katherine's wand. A badger started to run around her legs. Katherine laughed as the badger ran around and tripped George. He looked back at her and smirked. George's smirk turned into a gasp as he saw the badger running back to Katherine. The Hufflepuff lowered her wand, causing the animal to disappear.

"I did it!" Katherine exclaimed as she ran to George.

"You did," George chuckled, pulling her into a hug. The pair broke their embrace when they heard the door of the Room of Requirement open and close.

"Hi, Dobby!" Harry said. "What are you— what's wrong?"

The House-elf's eyes were wider than usual. He was shaking uncontrollably. The people closest to the Dobby were silent and stared, waiting for him to say something. The room fell darker as the Patronuses disappeared.

"Harry Potter, sir . . ." Dobby squeaked. "Harry Potter, sir . . . Dobby has come to warn you . . . but the house-elves have been warned not to tell . . ."

Dobby ran headfirst into the wall closest to him. Katherine and the rest of the people watching flinched at his self-punishment. Harry seized the House-elf as girls, including Hermione, squealing in sympathy.

"What happened, Dobby?" Harry asked. He had a hold of Dobby's arms.

"Harry Potter . . . she . . . she . . ." Dobby punched himself with his free fist, causing Harry to grab it.

"Who's 'she', Dobby?" Harry stared at the speechless Dobby. Suddenly, Harry's eyes widened. "Umbridge?"

Harry continued to question the house-elf. Finally, Dobby confirmed Harry's suspicion. People started to panic, running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Harry yelled, causing them to stop.

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? RUN!" Harry bellowed.

George grabbed Katherine and Fred grabbed Ginny. They ran to the back of the room, and a door appeared before them. George opened the door, and the group ran through the corridors until they reached the Gryffindor common room. Katherine took deep breaths as she crashed onto the couch.
