LOST CHAPTER 1 (Girls)

Gwenevere Serenity

Kaydence and I were playing barbie when a girl approaches us. She has a short hair with a clip and her skin is white. She looks like a foreigner kid. She smiling at us showing her teeth like a crocodile. She's holding her teddy bear while smiling at us.

"Hi." She greeted us with a small voice.

"H-Hello." We greeted her too with a shy voice.

"Im Rallianne Brittany. My family calls me Liane." She said. "Do you want to play with my toy?" And she handle us her teddy bear.

"Hello, Im Gwenevere Serenity," bulol na pakilala ko. "And this is Kaydence Melody. She's my bestfriend."

"Hello." Kaydence smiled showing her no teeth in front.

"Hello Kaydence at Gwenevere," nabulol pa siya sa pangalan ko.

"Hi. Hehe. Tara play tayo."

And that's when our friendship starts. It's all not easy. We fought many times. Im always in between. When Britt and Kaydence we're fighting I have to choose which side Im in and basically, I am always on Kaydence side since she's my bestfriend since birth.

Then few years later, when we're 10 years old, Jerome came to Rizal from Pampanga. He's watching us playing patintero, feeling his role as the outcast since he's new here. His sister is my ate Hailey's friend, si ate Jinny. So particularly, he's also an acquintance to me.

I went to him and let him know that he now belongs to our group. Nakalaro namin siya at sobra siyang nakakatawa. He became my boy bestfriend.

Few years later, we're now stepping into a new journey of our life. We enter High School and we're so excited for all the opportunities.

Now, we're here at the school looking for our section. No, rephrase that, to look for THEIR section. Not to brag but, I've been a consistent Pilot Section since Grade 1. So yeah, it's not a surprise for me anymore to be in a Pilot Section again. Honestly, it's tiring but worth it. Lalo na pagnakikita mo ang grades mo na siya naman talagang pinaghirapan mo.

When they found out what section they belong to, umuwi na kami. Then the first day of school came. Im with Jeslaine, my bestfriend since Grade 4.

"Jessy, sabay tayo lunch ha." I told her and she nodded.

Tuwing lunch break at recess ay magkasama kami, kaya nga naiiwan ko na sila Kaydence. At doon sila nagtatampo ng slight. But I know they'll understand. Our friendship is not that shallow anyway.

Jeslaine and I we're so happy about our high school life not until Vince, our babakla baklang classmate had a crush on her. And my very bestfriend is enjoying the attention she's getting.

And of course, I support her and Im happy for her. Though, Im a bit insecure since I can only count guys who likes me. Sometimes, Im questioning myself. Mayaman naman ako ah, matalino, mabait rin pero bakit walang nagkakagusto sakin?

Then it all happen so fast, malapit na matapos ang first grading and she started to fade. Unti unti na siyang nawawala sakin so I give her space and of course time to spend on her new found friends. Of course, Im still happy for her because finally, there's someone who will not judge her like me. Who will accept her even though all of our classmate thinks she is a slut.

I supported her in everything, kahit na masakit sakin dahil lagi niyang pinaparamdam sakin na hindi ko siya kayang abutin. Na hindi kami magiging pantay ng level. Na ako ay mayroon lamang talino at mabait. Na sa huli ay talo ako dahil panget ako.

But I never said a thing to her. Instead, I still forgive her and we came back to normal. Until my seatmate, Harry, confessed his feelings for Jessy. Of course, my very bestfriend loves the attention again. Still, I supported her and be happy for her. Kahit nga sa mga date nila ay sumasama ako. Dahil doon, Im starting to feel something for Harry. Onti onti akong nagkakagusto sa kanya.
