Britt

"Britt, pwede bang hindi sumama?" Bulong ni Gwen sa 'kin.

Today is October 19, I'm packing some of my things kasi uuwi kami ngayon sa Rizal for a business party. It's an enggrande party so we need to wesr gowns and dress up beautifully. Sa loob lang ng subdivision namin 'yung place event, pero they said na malaki at maganda daw 'yung venue.

"Gwen, this is an important event, baka mag-tampo 'yung family mo sa'yo kapag hindi ka umattend."

Her facial expression changed after I spoke, may nasabi ba 'kong mali.

"Uhm, Gwen? May problema ka ba? You can tell us naman, please don't keep secrets by yourself." I said to her. Tumingin siya sa 'kin at tumawa.

"Ano ka ba. I'm fine, wala 'kong problema 'no." She said at tumayo. "I'll go and pack my things na. Bawal mag-drama ngayon ha?! And by the way, birthday mo na pala bukas!" Sigaw niya at tumakbo papunta sa bedroom niya.

Right, tomorrow is the day. I just want to have a simple celebration with my love ones.

"Brittany! May gown ka na ba na susuotin?" Biglang tanong ni Kaydence.

"Of course. Doon ako nagpa-design sa designer nung pinsan ko. Why though?"

"Buti naman! Akala ko kasi wala ka pa." She said at bumalik sa pagc-cellphone.

"Si Gwen? May gown na ba siyang susuotin?"

"For sure. Alam mo naman 'yang si Gwen, hindi papatalo sa ganitong event. Her gown probably costs a diamond." Pangloloko niya. "Joke lang! Magiimpake na nga 'ko." She said at bumalik sa kwarto niya.

After I packed my things, pumasok na 'ko sa bathroom so I can take a bath. 4 AM na, aalis kami mamayang 5 AM.

I took a warm bath because the water is so cold, madaling araw pa lang kaya. After my bath, nagtuyo muna ako ng buhok at ginawa na ang skincare routine ko, I wore my black lace camisole top, tucked it in with my black flare pants, I also wore my blue plaid long sleeves para hindi ako lamigin, I partnered it with my white chunky sneakers. Just a simple and comfortable outfit. I curled my hair, a soft one, sinuot ko na rin ang stud earrings ko and the necklace Shawn gave me. I covered some of my pimples with concealer, and also under my eye, nude shade lipstick, mascara and eyeliner. Lumabas na 'ko ng bathroom at inayos ang mga gamit ko.

Kaunting damit lang ang pinack ko dahil may mga damit pa naman ako sa bahay namin in Rizal. Lumabas na 'ko ng room ko at naghintay sa living room dahil hindi pa lumalabas ng room 'yung dalawa.

10 minutes of waiting, lumabas na rin ang dalawa. They only have one bag on their side, as well as me.

"Sino magd-drive?" I asked.

"Si Kaydence na lang, kulang kasi tulog ko. Baka mag-dive pa tayo sa bangin." She laughed.

"Hindi pa tayo nagb-breakfast, take out na lang tayo sa starbucks?" Kaydence asked.

"Sure. Ako na lang magb-bayad." I offered.

"Wow, galante si mareng Brittany." Pangaasar ni Gwen.

"Oo nga eh--- Ay, hala! 5:30 na pala." Panic na sabi ni Kaydence. Nagmadali na kaming umalis sa condo at tumakbo papuntang parking lot. Nang makarating kami doon, we put some of our things in the compartment. Gwen sat in the passenger seat, while I, sat in the back seat.

"Dala niyo ba 'yung junk foods?" Gwenevere asked.

"Yes," I respond and gave her the bag.

"Wow! Can I have these cookies?" She asked.
