💛 Yechan- LUCY 💛

This is my own original idea

Me and Shin Yechan have been best friends for 20 years since we were 8 years old. We both play the violin and are in a orchestra together. We have been in the orchestra for years and love it. We are the main violinists of the orchestra. We keep the group together. We have regular concerts in the orchestra. I started playing the violin when Yechan took it up. He was better than me as he started before me. When we first became friends, Yechan was playing violin. I started a couple of years after him. We both practice together in our spare time. Yechan has always been like family to me. He's been like family to my family too. My nieces call him Samchon Yechan. Uncle Yechan which is cute. I have never had romantic feelings for him but I do care about him deeply and he cares about me deeply too. We have both been there for each other through thick and thin no matter what. Maybe I will feel some way about him in the future. Never say never but he's my best friend and means so much to me. He is one of a kind. My best friend in the would. Yechan and I have been working hard on our Christmas concert which takes place tonight. We had a recital last week which went well but tonight is the real thing. I get nervous when it comes to the real thing so Yechan end up calming me down most of the time. Hopefully I won't get too nervous tonight when the show starts. I don't want to mess up because it will ruin the whole concert and orchestra. I'm a bit of a perfectionist at times. Yechan is picking me up soon and we are both going to the town hall for our Christmas concert. My violin is all polished and ready for the concert. We have to wear Christmas sweaters for the concert so I have one with Rudolph on and Yechan has one with a penguin on. They look really cute. We bought them together. He says he's here outside my apartment now. I go outside with everything I need and jump in his car. "Hey, bestie" I say. "Hey, bestie. How are you?" he said. "I'm good" I smile. "Me too. Let's gets going" Yechan said. "Sure" I smile. We leave my place and arrive at the town hall soon for our Christmas concert

There is a rehearsal and sound check before the concert. You always have to do a dress rehearsal before the show. It went well. It's an hour and a half till the concert now and I'm trying to calm my nerves before we go onstage. Yechan sits next to me and puts his arms around me and says "Don't be nervous, Y/ N it all went well earlier so it will tonight. Just relax. You'll let the nerves get the better of you" he said. "Okay I will try and relax. At least I got you here" I say. "Yes you have. Always and forever" he said. We get our sweaters on and our violins ready for the show. The orchestra take their places on the stage. The opening song of the concert was We Wish You A Merry Christmas and then Jingle Bells. The set list has 15 songs and some solos by people too. Yechan and I are doing a violin duet together soon. It's more than halfway through the show. It was our turn to do our duet after a couple of solos. Yechan and I have been working really hard on this the last couple of months. So hard. Our duet is Baby It's Cold Outside on violin of course. We love the song. One of our favourite Christmas songs. The duet was great and we got a round of applause at the end. Everyone cheered for us. We both felt proud of ourselves. After the concert, we go backstage. "I am proud of us, Y/ N. Doing that duet. I just want to do it again" Yechan said. "Yeah me too. I definitely am proud of us" I smile. We take off our sweaters and get changed before packing our bags and leaving. Yechan will be taking me home. "Wanna go get food before I take you home" he said. "Sure I don't see why not" I say. We get in the car and drive to a noodle place and get something to eat and sit inside. "I thought we could get something to celebrate considering how amazing we did today. We slayed" Yechan said. "Oh yes we did. I'm always up for going here anyway" I laugh. We eat our noodles and go home after a fantastic duet and Christmas Concert

It's New Year's Eve now and Yechan and I celebrated Christmas with our families but we are spending New Year's Eve together which is great. I am going over to Yechan's place tonight for New Years celebrations. Just something low-key with the two of us. Drinks, food and movies most likely. I always can't wait to hangout with my best friend. I am on my way to Yechan's now. He asked me to bring some wine. I always have wine in my house. He doesn't. He prefers beer but wine occasionally. I arrive at his place soon and park my car in the parking lot by his. Yechan will know I'm here when he looks out. Can't wait to see him now and celebrate the new year with him. My best friend. I grab my things and get the elevator up to the Yechan's apartment. I knock on the door and he opens with a smile on his face as usual. "Hey, bestie. Happy new year. Come in" Yechan said. "Hi, bestie. Happy New year to you too" I say. I step in and he gives me a big smile and a big hug. "Brought the wine" he asked. "Of course I did. Can't have a night with you without it" I say. "I know. Spare a bit for me" Yechan said. "Of course. I would be mean not to" I say. He laughs. "Hehe yes you would be" he smirks. We both laugh together at the same time. Yechan has ordered some food and it's on its way. It's just from the noodle bar we went to when we had our concert. They do delivery's which is good because it's our favourite place to eat. "Can't believe it's gonna be next year soon" Yechan said. "I like right. Another year has gone by. That's crazy" I reply. "It has but here's to many more. As best friends" he said. "Indeed" I reply. He smiles. The food arrives at the door and Yechan pays the man. We tuck into our food and watch a movie at the same time. The movie we are watching is Aladdin. The live action version from 2019. It's so good. I've never seen it before though

Yechan and I sit back and eat our noodles with a glass of wine for me and beer for him. The movie is still on and we are sitting back and enjoying it. There is nothing like food, alcohol and a good movie on New Year's Eve. I put my feet up on the coffee table. Yechan doesn't like it when I do that. "Oi feet off. You know I don't like it when you do that" Yechan said. "Sorry" I laugh. I do it to annoy him at times. Haha lol. We watch another movie then it was almost time to see the new year in. We put on the countdown on TV. "Okay almost time" I say. "It is. Fill your glass and we'll toast" Yechan said. I top up our glasses of wine with just a minute to go till the new year. "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1" we both say raiding our glasses. "Happy new year, bestie" Yechan smiles. "Happy new year to you too" I smile. Yechan then smiles at me and leans in and almost kisses me till I back away. "What's wrong, Y/ N? I want a kiss" he say. "We're best friends" I say. "But I think I'm in love with you, Y/ N. In love with you in that way. I've been hiding my feelings from you for years and I think it's finally time I tell you" Yechan says. "Do you? You've always been like family to me, Yechan. My nieces call you uncle which is adorable" I say. "Yeah they do so do you love me" he said. I hesitated for a few moments while I thought about it. "Yes I do" I blurt out. Maybe I have been thinking more about that lately. Maybe I do love Yechan. "I think we should get married" he smiles smushing his nose in. Yechan leans in and kisses me. We just admitted our love to each other and can't wait for our future together

A/ N: awwww Yechan is so cute. My bias in LUCY. He plays the violin and that's what attracted me to him. Lucy are so good. You should check them out. A really cool and talented band. They have just had a comeback which us really good. I don't yet stan them but maybe soon
