There is this guy who I really really like called Kim Younghoon of The Boyz. He is my best friend Apink's Oh Hayoung's ex boyfriend but I've always had feelings for him and liked him a bit. These feelings have turned into more. I might even love Younghoon. I haven't had as much luck with guys as Hayoung has had over the years. She is much more confident, prettier and oh she is a celebrity so that's an advantage. She tells me that I am pretty and should have the confidence to talk to men like she does. Hayoung needs to teach me to be confident. I have known Younghoon for years and I've always found him a nice and attractive guy. I think he's my type. Just my type. Sometimes I get nervous and tongue tied in front of him and start saying random things to him. Hayoung says that's a sign I like him. She doesn't have a problem with me liking her ex as they are over now. They broke up months ago and it was a bit of a messy breakup. Hayoung ended things due to their busy schedules. I was surprised and sad when they broke up as I was really rooting for them as couple as Hayoung's best friend. I am on my way to Hayoung's for a movie night but I'm stopping at the grocery store to get some things that we need. Food and drinks. We are doing our own food as it's fun. I go into the grocery store and get a cart and start shopping. I walk down the chips and junk aisle and I see Younghoon from a distance. I try to scoot past him but he saw me. "Y/ N, hi" he said. "Hey, Younghoon. Fancy seeing you here" I say. "I see you're party shopping" he said. "Yeah how did you know?" I reply. "Just guessed" he laughed. "Just having a movie night with Hayoung tonight" I reply. "Cool. How is she?" Younghoon asks. "She's good. I'll tell her you were asking" I reply. "Yeah do. I miss her. She was a great girlfriend" he said. "Yeah I was sad even the two of you broke up" i say. "Awe bless you, Y/ N. Yep I miss her but I better move on" Younghoon said. "You-You seeing anyone else" I reply. "No just enjoying time to myself but I wouldn't rule it out" he replies. "Yeah yeah I wouldn't want to be single forever myself" I say. "Tell Hayoung I said hi" Younghoon said. "Oh will do" I smile. My heart skipped a beat when I saw Younghoon then. I just randomly asked him if he was seeing anyone. Part of me celebrated when I heard that. I am still nervous around him

That day I bumped into Younghoon in the grocery store, I haven't been able to stop thinking about him. He has been on my kind since. I told Hayoung about me bumping into Younghoon and she thought it cute that he asked about her. I know she's not really over him much even though she broke up with him funnily enough. Younghoon said he better move on to me when I jumped into him. Hayoung asked why I asked him if he was seeing anyone else. Don't think she would've been happy if she heard if he moved on with a new woman. But he hasn't so it's all good. I work from home as a freelance photographer. I don't get a lot of call outs but often I am at home editing photos and awaiting calls. Sometimes I photograph idols. I have done photoshoots for Apink and The Boyz before which has been good. I am sat at my office at home when my phone rings. I pick it up and it's Younghoon. "Hey, Y/ N" he said. "Hi, Younghoon" I reply. "Can I ask you a big big favour?" he said. "Sure yeah" I reply. "Tomorrow we have a shoot but our photographer has fallen ill so we are without a photographer. We all would really appreciate it if you can step in and take over the shoot" Younghoon said. "Yeah sure I wouldn't mind. I'm free tomorrow so don't worry" I reply. "Thank you, Y/ N. You're amazing. Thank you. You are a life saver" Younghoon said. "You're welcome. Don't worry" I reply. I quite happily agreed to the photoshoot tomorrow. At least it will get me quite a lot of money which is good. Not the only reason why I did it. Younghoon is the reason of course. I hope the photoshoot I'm doing for The Boyz goes good and I don't end up getting distracted by Younghoon. By the handsome Younghoon. It's nice that he called me to ask me to step in as the photographer. I feel honoured and privileged actually

It's the next day and I'm going to The Boyz studio to do the photo shoot for them. Can't wait. I love doing photo shoots for people and I also love seeing Younghoon as well. Maybe there is a special reason why he asked me to step in for the photo shoot. I am getting ready this morning for the shoot. Just making sure my camera and laptop are working and are ready for when I do the shoot. Making sure they've got enough charge. I leave and arrive at the studio for The Boyz photo shoot pretty soon. Looking forward to it and seeing Younghoon of course. Mostly. I arrive soon and then wait for the guys to be ready. I feel a tap on my shoulder. "Hey" Younghoon said. "Hi, Younghoon" I reply. "Well at least you're here to save the day for the shoot" he said. "Yes I am" I giggle. He didn't say anything else. He just walked away and smiled. I get set up and start taking photos of Younghoon and the guys. They all looked handsome in their outfits but especially Younghoon of course. Sometimes I can be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to photography and taking perfect pictures so I take a bit of time doing it. At least a couple of hours it took for me to completed the photo shoot. The Boyz were thankful that I came and did the photo shoot when their other photographer pulled out. Younghoon came after the shoot to thank me again. "Well thank you again, Y/ N. I really appreciate you doing this for us" he said. "Younghoon, it was my pleasure. You don't have to thank me again" I smile. "Yes I do because you stepped in at short notice to do this for us" Younghoon said. "It's fine" I reply. "I should take you out for dinner now, Y/ N" he said. "That's so kind, Younghoon but honestly you don't have to" I reply. "No I want to if you want. I just like you too. I know your my ex girlfriend's best friend but I still like you" Younghoon said. "Yeah I do like you too even though you're my best friends ex boyfriend. Hayoung doesn't find it weird that I like you. She's okay with it" I reply. "She is?" he replies. "Yes she is. She's fine with it. Okay I'm going to say yes to you taking me out for dinner, Younghoon. It would be really nice to spend sometime together and go out on a date" I say. "Sure why not. I'll take you pig for dinner. On a date sometime soon I'm sure. Can't wait, Y/ N" he smiles. "Yep definitely" I say. "There is something about you that I can't take my eyes off. You are different to Hayoung. You are lovely so is she but a different kind of lovely" Younghoon said. "I am" I blush. "Yes" he smiles walking away. I was left feeling super excited from Younghoon asking me out. So cute.  Can't wait to go out with him soon and hopefully it will work out

Younghoon and I have been on a good few dates now but I wouldn't say we are boyfriend and girlfriend yet as we haven't been going out that long so we are not putting labels on it just yet and that's the way we want it to be. We are just casually dating now. Younghoon is such a sweet and nice guy though and he is a gentleman too. That's the way his momma raised him. It definitely is. Hayoung's loss and my gain I guess. Younghoon and I are going on a date tonight. We are going to a noodle bar in town for something to eat and we will see what we do after that. I am getting ready to meet Younghoon now and I can't wait to see him tonight. Maybe we will even make things official tonight and become boyfriend and girlfriend. I arrive at the noodle bar to meet Younghoon soon and wait outside for him. A few minutes later I see him coming towards me with a smile on his face and I smile back at him. "Hey, beautiful" he said. "Hi, handsome" I smile. Younghoon smiles and pulls me in for a hug and we go inside and get a table for two by then noodle bar. We ordered what we wanted fairly soon and then sat back and waited for our food to come. Younghoon and I just talked about general things. Nothing about us really just yet. We ate up and the noodles were pretty good. We looked at each other and our eyes met and we made eye contact to each other. "Y/ N, there is something I need to say to you" Younghoon said. "Sure go ahead" i reply. "As I've told you a million times, I really like you and you should definitely hear that. I get all nervous around you and get tongue tied and start buffering like a computer. Like glitch mode. Haha. Yeah basically that's how you make me feel" Younghoon said. I froze for a second and thought of what to say. "Younghoon, I'm always tongue tied in front of you and don't know what to say. But in a good way of course. You're a great guy and yes I really like you too, Younghoon" I smile. "Well I think you're amazing in every single way" he said. "You are too. You always got me feeling like I'm in glitch mode" I say. "I think we should make things official, Y/ N. Will you be my girlfriend?" Younghoon asks. "Yes I would love to be your girlfriend, Younghoon" I smile. He takes my hand and we go outside and he pulls me in and kisses me on the lips. So Younghoon and I are now official and may it be forever
