I was childhood best friends with Kim Jinwoo. We knew each other since elementary school and went to high school together. We haven't seen each other in years. I last saw him about 8 years ago just randomly in a bar. A lot has happened since then. I got married but I am separated from my husband. I am a mom to my beautiful 3 year old daughter called Hyejin. She means the whole world to me. I got custody of her in the separation. I'm so glad I got custody of my baby girl. Jinwoo doesn't know I have been married and had a child as I haven't seen him in the last 3 years. We just kinda lost touch since we left school. We are both now 30 years old. I'm school I was a nerd and awkward. I used to get picked on and bullied. Jinwoo was one of my only friends. My only guy friend in school. I don't know how we lost touch with each other. I guess people just do when it's been a few years and other things get in the way of life and things. Think he'll get surprised if he learnt one day I have a daughter. Hyejin is my world though and I love her so much. Hyejin loves going to the park so I'm taking her this afternoon to post of an hour or two. Hyejin is in the car with me now and we are driving to the park now and she is excited to go and play. Hyejin's favourite thing to go on is the swings so she goes there straight away and I push her and she goes high. She keeps asking to go high so I pushed her higher. I could tell that Hyejin loved it so I let her play on the swings for a while till another child wanted to have a go. Then I posted on the slide with her and then we called it a day. We were walking along the path when I saw a man who looked like Jinwoo. I got closer and in fact it was Jinwoo. Oh wow! "Jinwoo" I say. "Y/ N" he said. "I can't believe we reunite after all this time. That's crazy" I say. "I know. Oh my gosh. How are you?" Jinwoo asks. "Great. You?" I reply. "I'm great too. Who is this little cutie?" he said looking at Hyejin. "This is Hyejin, she's my daughter" I reply. "Your daughter? Well I didn't know you had a daughter, Y/ N" Jinwoo said. "I do. I am married to her father but we are not together anymore. We might be getting divorced. Our marriage didn't work out the way i wanted" I say. "Well I'm sorry to hear that. Let me know if you need anything ever" he said. "I will thank you" I reply. Hyejin went all shy around Jinwoo. She can be like that sometimes. "We will definitely have to keep in touch, Y/ N. I don't want to lose touch with you again. We were best friends once" he said. "Yep definitely I would like that" I reply. Jinwoo smiled as we walked away from each other. Wow! How amazing? Jinwoo and I just spontaneously ran into each other in the park this afternoon. Think he was surprised to find out I had been married and have a child

It's been about 3 months since Jinwoo and i reunited after all these years and we have been getting closer. My husband doesn't know that he comes over to visit me and Hyejin regularly. He wouldn't be okay with having another man around and getting close to me or out daughter. He's just like that. Think that's why our marriage hasn't lasted. He is living separately now and wants to divorce me. He hasn't given me the papers yet. It hasn't hit me yet that I'm getting divorced at the age of 30. Maybe our marriage wasn't meant to be. Jinwoo is coming over to see Hyejin and I for a bit. He has really grown close to her since they've been introduced which is so cute to see. Love them. Hyejin said she wants to play with Jinwoo today and watch TV so I'm going to let them do that. The doorbell goes and it was Jinwoo of course. Can't wait to see him and to see him bond with Hyejin more which is going to be a super cute moment. Jinwoo walks in with a smile on his face. "Hello" he says. "Hello, Jinwoo" I say. "Jinwoo, Jinwoo" Hyejin exclaims. "Hey, princess" he says picking Hyejin up and taking her into the lounge. "Play with me" she says. "Of course I would love to, sweetie" Jinwoo replies. "Yay!" Hyejin exclaims. Jinwoo sits on the carpet and plays with Hyejin for a bit. I watch from the kitchen and then join in with them. Such a cute moment. Love them. They are the cutest. Hyejin wanted me to join in so I did. Jinwoo stays for a while and all of a sudden there was a knock on the door so I go and answer it. Unfortunately it was my soon to be ex husband Deoksan. He's the last person I want to see right now. "Deoksan" I say. "Y/ N, I need to come in" he said. "Okay" I smile. "I'm giving you the divorce papers. It's official now. Our marriage is over" Deoksan said. Luckily he hasn't seen Jinwoo yet. "Okay I'll sign them when I'm ready" I say. "You will won't you. I've already signed them" he said. "Yes I will" I say. "Let me say hi to my princess before I leave" Deoksan said. Before o could say anything he goes into the lounge and sees Jinwoo playing with Hyejin. "Who's he?" he asks. "Jinwoo is an old school friend. We reconnected recently" I say. "Why is he playing with our daughter like that?" Deoksan asks. "He is getting to know her and bonding with her"
I reply. "Well I'm not okay with that. Man, please stay away from my daughter" he said. "I'm not doing any harm. Just playing with her. Getting to know you. She's the sweetest kid" Jinwoo replies. "I think you should leave now before you-you do something" I say leading Deoksan out of the room and to the door. "You know I'm not okay with this, Y/ N. Another man interacting with our daughter" he said. "Jinwoo is not doing any harm to Hyejin like you think he is. He's being a bet... a good friend to me and to her" I say. I almost said better father but stopped myself. "Bye" Deoksan said storming out. I thought he was going to harm Jinwoo then. He only came by to hand over the divorce papers and cause trouble as usual. Maybe it'll be better when we are divorced
