My best friend is Kobayashi Daigo. We have been best friends since our elementary school days and we are still best friends now at the age of 20. My best friend is a guy and people think that I just feel more than friends. Daigo and I have always been close. Almost like family in a way like we seem to know everything about each other. People think I'm pretty and good enough to be someone's girlfriend but I've always felt the opposite like I've always had my insecurities and doubts about myself. I don't know why but I've always felt that way. People think I have feelings for my best friend Daigo but i always keep on denying it. He is the loveliest guy I know and I'm so glad to have him as a best friend. The thing is I don't know about love. I don't really know what love is so I need to learn. Who knows if Daigo has any feelings for me. He tends not to express his feelings and keep himself to himself sometimes. Like he can be quietly spoken and soft. He's a good shoulder to lean on when you're feeling down. Daigo has a set of new friends who he wants me to meet. All guys. He wants to introduce me to them but I said it might be a bit overwhelming but then I agreed to meet them. So I am meeting them tonight at one of the guys Jaeyun's place. I'm going to be the only girl there so hopefully it won't be all weird and awkward having eight other guys around. Daigo says they are all looking forward to meeting me so I changed my mind and thought I'd go and meet them. Just hangout for probably a couple of hours. I like seeing people when my social anxiety doesn't kick in. Daigo is picking me up soon and we are going to Jaeyun's place. They have food and drinks ready. I've never been in the presence of all men before. I didn't know what to wear so I just dressed how I usually do. Daigo says it doesn't matter what I look like for tonight. I get ready and get my bag packed just in time for Daigo arriving. He pulls up outside my house and honks so I know he's arrived. I am excited but also a little nervous about meeting his friends for the first time. He hasn't known these guys too long. "Hey" Daigo said as I get in his car. "Hi" I smile. "How's you, bestie?" he said. "I'm good, bestie. You?" I reply. "Yes" he smiles. "Do I look okay?" I ask. "Of course you do. You're fine. You'll become paranoid if you go on" Daigo said. I smile. "Relax. My friends don't bite" he said squeezing my hand. Soon we arrive at Jaeyun's place and we walk to the back. "Okay, guys. This is my best friend Y/ N" Daigo said. "Hi" I say. "Hi, Y/ N" Chan smiles. "Nice to meet you" Kyungho said. "You're welcome to help yourself to anything you want. The bathroom is inside near the kitchen if you need it" Jaeyun said. "Thank you" I smile. "Take a seat here" Jisu said pulling out a chair. I sit down. Daigo gets me and drink and some to start off with. The boys were so warm and welcoming

I feel like I've known Daigo's friends for ages. I'm getting on with them like they are old friends or just friends. I can see all eyes are on me. I'm not used to having this much attention from guys especially my best friend friends. "So, Y/ N. Do you have a boyfriend or dating anyone?" Donggeon said. "No I'm not at the moment" I reply. "Well you should be" J.You said. "So you don't like guys then?" Renta said. "Oh yes I do. I just haven't found the one yet" I reply. "You tryna say she likes girls" Daigo said. "No not really" Renta laughs. "Y/ N can like whoever she want" Chan said. "I thought Daigo would be your boyfriend" Yeojeong said. "No we are best friends and have been forever" Daigo said looking at me. "Yes we have" i smile. "Awwww that's cute" Kyungho said. "At least we get to meet you anyway, Y/ N. Daigo talks about you a lot" Jisu said. "Oh he does" I reply. "Yeah like all the time" Jaeyun said. Some of the things they were asking and talking about were making me feel a little uncomfortable but it's okay as they are nice guys. I feel like I know them well already. I hangout with them for a while longer and have more food. Daigo takes me home when I wanted to go. I would like to maybe see his friends again some other time. Daigo takes me home and drops me off. "So did you enjoy meeting my friends tonight? Think they enjoyed meeting you" he said. "Yes I did. Very much so" I reply. "Yeah sorry if they were a little too much. I know they can be a little crazy sometimes" Daigo said. "No it's fine. They did ask a lot of questions though" I say. "Next time if you meet them I'll tell them not to ask all those questions. Think they were just excited having a girl around" he said. "Alright I guess so" I say. "Anyway goodnight and I'll see you again soon" he said. "Yes I will too. Goodnight, bestie" I reply. "Night bestie" he smiles. We smile as I get out of the car and walk to my front door and go in my house. I will meet Daigo's friends sometime soon again I'm sure
