I have been friends with Park Minhyuk for years. He has always been one of my very best friends in the world. We met at summer camp years ago in middle school and became friends from then. I think that Minhyuk has romantic feelings for him. He said it once when he was drunk at a party with me. Maybe he means it or maybe it was just a drunken mistake. Who knows? Recently I have become friends with another guy through a friend. Byungho. He is gay so I feel nothing like that towards him. Minhyuk doesn't believe me that my friend is gay. He thinks he has feelings for me. Byungho made it clear when I met him that he was gay and had a boyfriend at the time who he's no longer with. He is a really nice guy and I'm grateful to have him as a friend as well. Sometimes I feel like I'm excluding Minhyuk but that's not true. I'm not. I can have more friends than just him. I didn't think he was the jealous type. Not till Byungho came along. But he is jealous for some reason. Maybe he will stop being jealous once he believes me. Anyway today I am going out with Byungho. Minhyuk wanted to see me but I told him that I had something to do so I couldn't see him. I lied to him which I feel bad for but I'll try not to feel too bad. I am out with Byungho now and we are getting chicken and talking a walk around town. We are walking through the town now and my phone rings. I get it out of my pocket and it's Minhyuk. "Shit, it's Minhyuk. Should I answer" i say. Byungho smiles. "Hey" I say as I answer the phone. "Where are you?" he asks. "Just out taking a walk you know" I reply. "Hmmm you're the him. You liar" Minhyuk said. "Yeah he just called me out and asked if I wanted to hangout" I say. "Y/ N, I don't believe you. I really wanted to see you tonight" he said. "Well sorry, Minhyuk. I see you a lot. I will hangout with you soon" I say. "Maybe I was busy too. I have to go now, Y/ N" he said. "Okay bye" I reply. Minhyuk hangs up on me. I don't know if he was pissed off at me for not meeting him or he really had to go. Maybe both. I was worried when I came off the phone with him. I looked at Byungho and almost cried. I hope I haven't lost Minhyuk as a friend

It's two days later and I want to meet Minhyuk but he's not replying to any of my texts or anything. I am kinda worried that he's fallen out with me over hanging out with Byungho last night and lying to him. Oh well he will just have to be pissed at me as I still did it. I don't want to loose him as a friend just because I'm friends with another guy who's gay. That's not the way I want it. I am going over to Minhyuk's place to see if he's in so we can talk and work things out. I just think he's ignoring me now after what I did. I get my shoes on and leave my place and go to his which isn't far away. I arrive soon and knock on his door. I waited a few minutes till he came to the door. Minhyuk comes to the door and looks surprised to see me stood at his front door. He almost shut the door on me. "Look, Hyuk. Can we talk?" I say. "Why? You've already said enough, Y/ N" he replies. "Please let me explain. Why have you been ignoring my texts?" I reply. After a few minutes of persuading him, Minhyuk let's me into his place. "Why don't you believe me when I tell you that Byungho is gay and we are just friends" I say. "Because I don't like seeing you with other guys regardless of sexuality and things like that" Minhyuk said. "I can have other friends apart from you, Minhyuk" I say. "Yeah I know that. It just hurt me when you didn't want to hangout with me, Y/ N. I thought you were always down for hanging out with me" he said. "Of course I am. Byungho just really wanted to see me and i didn't want to say no to him" I say. "Why did you say no to me then?" Minhyuk saud. "Minhyuk, stop acting so childish" I say. He looks at me and sighs. We eventually stop arguing. "Y/ N. Byungho is a nice guy and I don't really have a problem with him being gay and you being friends with him" he said. "Yeah he is and you shouldn't because like I said we are just friends" I say. "Yeh like we are but I feel more for you" Minhyuk said. "Feelings?" I reply. "Yes we could say so" he said. I looked at him and went a little silent. I smiled at him. I don't want to loose one of my best friends over this. It's silly. I can have as many friends as I want like Minhyuk can too. Any we are good now

It's a few weeks later now and Minhyuk are fine. We are back to the way we were before and he's not jealous of me and Byungho anymore. He said I can hangout with whoever I want now. I'm glad Minhyuk are good again. I can't loose a friend like him. No way. Today Minhyuk and I are going to a trampoline park. It's something we like to do every now and then. It's fun and it's good exercise too. I am going down there and meet him soon. I get ready and leave my place soon. I didn't want to be late for meeting Minhyuk at the trampoline park. He is almost there and I will be soon. I get there around the same time as he does. "Hey, you. We've both got here at the same time" Minhyuk said. "Hey, friend. Yes we did" I reply. He smiles at me and gives me a hug. "So let's have some fun" he said. "You bet" I reply. We show our passes at the front desk and we get in. We can go on any trampoline as much as we want. That's so much fun. At least we haven't eaten recently or we would be sick. Oh no. Minhyuk and I bounce till our hearts content. So much fun it was. We bounced for a while and then lay down and rested on the trampoline. "That was fun but I'm tired now" Minhyuk said. "It was so much fun and me too" I reply. He looks at me and we smile at each other. Minhyuk touches my hand as well and we have a little moment. Maybe he was going to say something to me. He went silent. We carry on bouncing for a bit longer and then we leave. "Do you fancy going for a milkshake?" I ask. "Sure. Why not? The more time I get to hangout with you the better" Minhyuk smiles. There is an amazing milkshake bar only a minute away from the trampoline park

Minhyuk and I go to the milkshake place just down the road. We arrived a minute later. "I honestly don't know which one I want. Ummmm them all" he said. "Same haha. All the milkshakes are so good here. Not gonna lie" I reply. We spend a few minutes studying the menu to see what we want. We finally decide and order our milkshakes. We waited a few minutes for them to make them and then we sat outside. Minhyuk looks at me and says "Cheers!". "Cheers!" I say back. We smile as we sip our milkshakes. "As good as always" I smile. "Indeed" Minhyuk said. We talk for a while. "Y/ N, I need to ask you something" he said. "Sure" I smile. "Well you know I told you I liked you. Right" he said. "Yep" I reply. "I know we've been close friends for so many years so I don't want you to go all weird on me" Minhyuk said. "Go on" I reply. "Will you be my girlfriend, Y/ N? I would really like that. I want us to be together. Okay" he said. "Yes I would really like to be your girlfriend, Minhyuk" I reply. "I thought you were gonna say no" he laughs. "No don't be silly" i laugh. Minhyuk pulls his seat closer to me and leans in and kisses me me. I kiss him back and we kiss for a minute. He was a good kisser and I think I was too. Didn't ask him though. I am very happy that Minhyuk asked me to be his girlfriend today. We are very happily together now. We leave the milkshake place holding hands feeling overjoyed.
