I am scared of being in love and falling in love. I had one bad experienced where I dated a guy who cheated on me with my friends. That was a year and a half ago and I've been put off guys since. Also my mom had not had the best track record with men. She's been married twice. Once to my dad and the other time to a man who she has just divorced. She has warned me about guys as she doesn't want me to make the same mistake. Two marriages, two kids. I've never been the kind of girl just to fall in love like that with someone. I do know a guy. He's my stepbrother, Taegyun. Well ex stepbrother now. My moms second husband's son from his first marriage. Taegyun lived in Thailand a while with his mom before returning to Korea four years ago. My mom and his dad met and they got married and we became family. Yes I do like him but he's practically my brother. I do have a biological brother but we are not really closer. I have always really cared about Taegyun and he's always really cared about me too so maybe there is something between us. I don't want to tell my mom that I like my stepbrother. She will think it's wrong and weird. Taegyun and I are close though but I've always been scared of falling for someone. How do I tell him? Tonight I'm meeting Taegyun and we are going out for dinner. I'm bringing my friend Chaewon and he's bringing his friend Prince who is over from Thailand visiting. I've never met him before but it's heard good things about him. I always look forward to seeing Taegyun. It doesn't change things now that our parents are divorced. I am getting ready and meeting them all down there. I look through my closet and decided what to wear. I wear a nice top and jeans before doing my hair and makeup. I always text Taegyun when I'm on my way to meet him just so he knows where I'm at. I leave to the restaurant when I was ready. I walked in and I was the last one to arrive. "Hi, guys. Sorry I'm late" I say. "Y/ N. Nah it's fine. You're not late" Taegyun said. I hug Chaewon and Taegyun introduces me to Prince. "This is Prince. All the way from Thailand" he said. "Hi. Nice to meet you, Prince" I smile. "Nice to meet you too" he smiles shaking my hand. So anyway we sit down and get drinks

We are having drinks now and waiting for our food to arrive. We are sat at a table for four. Me and Chaewon together and Taegyun and Prince. I am opposite Taegyun. "How long are you her for, Prince?" Chaewon asks. "I don't know. A few weeks or as long as he wants me to stay" Prince replies. "Nah I'm sending you back tomorrow. Only joking, man" Taegyun laughs touching Prince's head. They are boys just teasing each other. It's kinda amusing. I think Chaewon finds Prince cute. I caught her making eyes at him a few times. Ohhhhh. I was looking at Taegyun too. He looked very attractive and cute tonight. Well doesn't he always? He does. Anyway our food comes soon and we tuck in. We all ordered different things as we have different tastes. I really enjoyed what I said and ordered another drink after. I see Taegyun looking over at me. We both exchange a smile at each other. We stay for another drink each and then leave. I go to the bathroom before I leave. I say bye to Taegyun, Prince and Chaewon. I needed the bathroom before I headed home. A few minutes I leave the bathroom, I go outside and Taegyun was waiting for me. "Hi, Y/ N" he said. "Hey, Taegyun. You've not left yet" I say. "No I was waiting for you" he said. "Okay I was just at the bathroom but I'm here now" I say. "Do you have a minute?" he asks. "Sure" I reply. "Well you look really nice tonight, Y/ N. I just wanted to say that" he said. "Thank you, Taegyun. That's very sweet of you. You don't look so bad yourself" I reply. "Thanks. Cheeky though" he said. "Haha I know. You look good" I blush. He blushes back. We talk for a couple more minutes and then leave. I wonder if Taegyun was going to tell me how he feels about me but he was too nervous. Who knows? But he gave me a sweet complement though that made me blush. I didn't feel like telling him how I feel tonight. Maybe another time I will

I was going to tell Y/ N how I feel about her but I didn't the other night. I know she was my stepsister but that doesn't stop me from having feelings for her. I do really like her so much and I have to tell her how I feel but does she feel the same way. I hope so. She is the girl of my dreams and I want to be with her forever. My friend Prince is still in Korea. He goes back to Thailand. It's great to have him here for a bit longer. I want to tell Y/ N how I feel soon. I really need to let my feelings out for her. I feel like the best way of telling her is asking her to meet me somewhere and maybe going for something to eat. I have told her to meet me at the park this evening for a cute walk and maybe something to eat after. It was kind of short notice I gave her but she can still make it. I am on my way to see Y/ N now. I wanted to get her a bunch of flowers but I didn't know where she would put them when we've been for something to eat so I will get her flowers another time. I arrive at the park. She isn't there yet but and will be soon. I sit on a park bench and wait for her to arrive. I see her walking towards me soon with a smile on her face. Y/ N's smile cloud light up the room. I swear it could. "Hi" I say. "Hey" she said. I smile and give her a hug. We then take a nice walk around the park together. I stand close to Y/ N. I felt like holding her hand but I didn't. There is something about the way she looks at me. We walk for a while and then sit down on a bench and rest for a bit. "It was a nice evening for a walk, Y/ N" I say. "Yes it is, Taegyun" she smiles. I look at her and find the words to say. I was nervous. I had that feeling in my stomach. "Y/ N, I like you. I have feelings for you. I know you are practically siblings but I really do have feelings for you. I might even love you. I was going to tell you that when I saw you last but I couldn't find the words to say but I have now" I say looking into her perfect eyes. "Taegyun, I have feelings you too. Didn't think you would feel the same way with you being my stepbrother and everything but I really like you. I have feelings for you. Truth is I've always been scared of falling in love but you've made that fear go away now" she smiles. "I'm glad you feel the same way, Y/ N. I wasn't sure if you would feel the same since we are like family" I say. "Of course I do. You're a wonderful guy, Taegyun. My soulmate I would say" Y/ N said. I shuffle closer t her and kiss her on the lips. She kissed back. She was a heck of a good kisser. Y/ N and I then look into each other's eyes romantically. What an evening?

Y/ N and I are now boyfriend and girlfriend and we are now happily. This is what we always wanted. My dad knows that we are a couple and he supports us. We need to tell Y/ N's mom. She's told her that she's bringing someone she'd like her to meet. She hasn't said it's me. She will introduce me as her boyfriend even though I already know her mom. She's my ex stepmom. Y/ N is coming to pick to me up from my place and we are going back to hers to see her mom. She knows she's coming with someone but doesn't know it's me. I'm ready and waiting by the door for my beautiful girl to arrive. She arrives minutes later and I walk out and get in her car. "Hey, baby" I say. "Hi, babe. Looking handsome for my mom" she said. "Yes I am but she's knows I'm handsome let's face it" I laugh. "Of course" Y/ N laughs. We arrive at Y/ N's place that she shares with her mom soon. "I'm a bit nervous" I say. "Why? It's only my mom. You know her very well. She was like a second mom to you when our parents were married" Y/ N said. "I know but it's when she finds out that we are together" I say. Anyway Y/ N opens the door and I walk in after her. "Hi, mom" she said. "Hi, Sweetie. Just upstairs. Who is here?" she says. She comes down and sees me. "Taegyun, hello" she said. "Hi, Y/ M/ N" I reply. "Well, mom I said I was bringing someone over and that person is Taegyun. We have something to share with you" I say. "Okay" Y/ N's mom replies. We follow her into the lounge and sit on the couch. "Mom, this is happy news. Don't look worried" Y/ N said. We then both looked at each other. "Taegyun is now my boyfriend and I'm now his girlfriend. We are in a relationship" she said. "Awwww that's nice. So nice. Actually I always knew that you two had a thing for each other. I used to see you out of the corner of my eye looking at each other from across the table" Y/ N's mom said. "Y/ N has always been scared of falling in love but now she has me to love" I smile. "I do indeed and you do love me and I love you" Y/ N smiles. Her smile is my weakness. I gave her a little kiss in front of her mom. Y/ N's mom is happy that we are together but not as happy as we are. I have fallen in love with the girl of my dreams
