Hong Joochan is my stepbrother. Our parents are in a relationship but not married yet but he's still my stepbrother. My dad and his mom are together. We are kinda like family and he is the closest thing to a brother I've ever had and we are close. Well were close. We don't talk anymore. We fell out. We fell out because we both found out that we had feelings for one another. We admitted our feelings to each other and ended up having a fight about it and we vowed not to talk to each other. This was four months ago now. We just thought it was awkward and weird that we had feelings for each other since we are family almost. Our parents knew how close we were and we haven't told them that we had a fight and we've fallen out. We know they would be sad they their kids are fighting. Tonight me and my dad are going to Joochan's to have dinner with his mom. This is gonna be awkward. I said to my dad that I don't want to go but he is forcing me to go and I had a fight with him but he is still forcing me to go but I'll have to put on a brave face and go and get it out of the way. It'll be awkward seeing Joochan after what went on between us. We will have to pretend for our parents sake who are in a relationship. I am getting ready now and me and my dad are leaving soon to see Joochan and his mom. I do my hair and makeup and choose something nice to wear. I go for a cute skirt with a top and boots. My dad was ready the same time as me and we get in the car and go. I was silent on the car and he was wondering what was wrong with me. I told him I was just tired and wanted to stay quiet. We arrived at Joochan's place and park up on the driveway and knock on the door. Joochan's mom opens the door with a smile on my face and is excited to see my dad of course. Joochan looked at me when I walked in and kinda smiled. His mom greeted me with a bib and we go into the kitchen and get drinks. Joochan still didn't talk to me and just made things awkward. Hope our parents don't pick up on any awkwardness or tension between us as that wouldn't be good. Anyway I will try and enjoy the meal Joochan's mom is about to serve us and her company too

Joochan's mom served us a delicious homemade meal with a bit of Joochan's help but it was so good though. Just awkward around the racks since we are not talking to each other or making eye contact. I feel something in my stomach like a feeling of being sick. Think I need to go outside for some fresh air. I go into the kitchen and step out the back door as it was open. The air was cold but nice and fresh. I took a deep breath and inhaled some fresh air. Suddenly Joochan aliens behind me and scares me. "Y/ N" he said. "Yes. Jeez you scared me" I reply. "You okay? Sorry" he says. "Yeah I'm fine" I reply. "Just wondering why you were out here on your own" Joochan said. "Just getting some air. That's all" I reply. There then was another awkward silence for a second. "Look, Y/ N I know tonight was awkward and our last meeting ended badly but let's draw a line under it" Joochan said. "Joochan, not gonna lie it is awkward. What are our parents gonna think? They knew how close we were" I say. "Sorry. Maybe we just feel we awkward as we have feelings for each other and we are practically like brother and sister and have been all this time" he said. "Well you were the one who admitted your feelings to me first and then I let it slip that I had feelings for you" I say. "I really liked you. You are a girl and I am a boy so like we are meant to be together" he said. "Yeah it's obvious but it's not always that simple" I say. "Y/ N, it sounds petty and childish this" Joochan said. "Shhhhh keep your voice down. They'll hear us. Do you want them to? You are sounding petty and childish" I reply. Joochan looks at me and shrugs his shoulders. "What's wrong with you?" I say. "Nothing. Was just saying but don't want to get into another fight with you in front of our parents" he said. "Okay well stop it then" I reply. "Okay we will stop it" Joochan said. His mom sees us from the kitchen. "You kids okay" she said. "Yes just went out for some fresh air" Joochan replies. She smiles and I smile back. Think Joochan's mom heard us bickering outside but she was too polite to ask why we were arguing and fighting. We go back inside and pretend like nothing happened between us. Oh well. Hopefully it'll blow over eventually and we will be friends again or even more
