I have a crush on my brothers friend Kim Seunghun. My brother is Lee Byounggon and we are quite close to each other. I have known Seunghun for years and I've always felt sone type of way about him. Like I don't know if it's just a crush or feelings. I've always been the shy kinda girl who doesn't like to show her feelings to many people. I've just never thought any guys like me in that way. I've always been insecure and shy around guys. I'm not the kind of girl to put on loads of makeup and dress up. I've never been too confident around them especially when the one I like is a friend of my brothers which makes it kinda awkward I guess. Byounggon has always been an overprotective brother of me and doesn't want me to get hurt by anyone or anything. Seunghun is nearly two years older than me but that doesn't matter or make a difference. I still like him anyhow. He is still a nice guy whether he is my brothers friend or not. Byounggon and Seunghun hang out a lot and sometimes he is over at our house but I try not to get too involved. I am home alone. Byounggon has been out of town all day and our parents have been at work and I have been working from home today. The house was nice and quiet. Just me and the cats. I go downstairs to get a drink when I hear a knock at the door. I open the door and it was Seunghun. "Hi, Seunghun. What brings you here?" I ask. "Hi, Y/ N. Is Byounggon in? I've been trying to get hold of him all day" he said. "He's been out of town all day, Seunghun. Didn't he tell you?" I reply. "No no he didn't that's weird" Seunghun says. "I don't know then. He didn't give much away. You sound worried" I say. "No I'm okay. Just seeing if he wanted to hangout today" he replies. "Come in if you want" I reply. "Okay sure" Seunghun smiles. He comes in and sits on the couch and I get him a drink and we sit and chat about things. I could feel Seunghun getting closer to me but I edged away a bit. "I've tried calling Byounggon but he hasn't been answering which is weird. My brother usually answers his phone" I say. "Well I reckon he might have a secret girlfriend" Seunghun said. "Maybe so. He has kept things from me, mom and dad before" I say. "Yeah who know. I won't ask him neither will you. He'll say something if he wants us to know" he said. So Seunghun stopped for almost an hour which was good. My heart was happy. Obviously I didn't say anything about me having a crush on him

A few weeks later and I have decided to make more of an effort with my appearance and do my makeup more and dress up. Maybe Seunghun will notice me but I don't think he's the kind of guy to go for a girl for her looks but maybe it's worth a try if I want his attention but I'll try not to get attention for the wrong reasons. I do really still like Seunghun though and just want him to notice me. I am going out to eat with my friend tonight so yes I'm going to make an effort and dress up a little and do makeup. I am also doing my hair nicely and wearing contact lenses. I don't normally like wearing contacts but I want to try without glasses for a change. I am getting ready now to meet my friend for dinner. Looking forward to seeing her for a catch up. I'm not dressing for Seunghun as I won't see him tonight but for whoever I see. After a while I was ready so I grab my things and head out the door. I'm getting a cab to the restaurant I'm meeting my friend at. I walk out the door feeling great about myself and I feel different looking like this. I close the door behind me and wait on the driveway for my ride to come. A car pulls up a minute later and it was Seunghun. Oh I forgot, he's going to see my brother tonight. He gets out is his car and sees me but he doesn't speak straight away. "Hi, Y/ N. I see you're going out?" he says. "Yes I'm going out for dinner with my friend. Forgot you were coming up tonight" I say. "Ah yeah just waiting for Byounggon. I can give you a lift while you said if you want" Seunghun said. "Well a cab is coming like anytime so you don't have to" I reply. "Well I don't mind. Jump in" he said. I smile and take him up on his offer of a lift. I arrived at the restaurant in 15 minutes with Seunghun dropping me off to the door. "Thank you. I really appreciate the lift" I say. "You're welcome, Y/ N. It's no problem. Nothing to me" he replies. I hesitate for a second then and say "Seunghun, how do I look? Just wondering. Thought I'd go all different tonight" I reply. "You-you look look different but nice of course. I like it though" Seunghun smiles. "Thank you. Anyway my friend is waiting for me now. I should go" I say. He smiles and drives off. Seunghun said I looked nice and he liked it so is he hinting something. I don't know or was he just being polite. Only time will tell I guess. Maybe I made myself a bit too obvious by dressing up tonight but I liked it. I'd do it again anytime soon
