I recently met this guy called Geonu. He is really nice but I'm pretty scared of getting too close to him. I think he likes me and wants to date me. He even hinted to asking me out but I didn't give him an answer. The reason why I'm holding back is that I have always fantasied about being with a guy and being in a relationship for the longest time. It's not actually ever happened to me before. Now that I've met a nice guy, it just doesn't feel like it's happening to me. It somewhat feels like I'm living a dream and it's not happening to me. I have always dreamed of being with someone like Geonu but I don't know what I'm going through. 21 years I have been single and don't want to be single for the rest of my life. I really don't want to be single forever. I would be lonely and as depressed as hell if I was. I want to get married and have a family one day. The whole truth is I'm scared of love. Scared of what love will feel like. I know Geonu likes me but he doesn't know that I'm scared of love. I don't want him to know I'm scared of love as I think I will push him away and he won't want to be with me. I don't want to scare a good guy like Geonu away from me. I have got back from work and I'm at home chilling. Don't really have anything to do tonight but get dinner. I don't kind what I want to eat but I'll think of something to do. I am taking a rest on my bed for a while when I hear my phone ring. I pick it up and it's Geonu. "Hi, Geonu" I say. "Hey, Y/ N. What you up to?" he asks. "Nothing just resting" I reply. "How about you meet me for dinner if you want to? I don't know if you have plans" Geonu asks. "I don't have plans and yeah sure I would like to" I reply. "Okay cool. I'll text you the details" he said. Geonu texts me the details of where he's meeting me and I take a shower and get ready. I was feeling a bit tired but I just decided to get ready and go out with Geonu

I arrived at the place I'm meeting Geonu at soon after. I can see that he's already there. He is waiting by the entrance for me but he's on his phone. "Geonu" I say. "Hi, Y/ N. Didn't see you creep up on me" he replies. "It's okay. Don't worry" I reply. I smile and hug him. "This is unexpected but it's nice of course" I say. "Yeah I know. I just thought it might be nice to go out for dinner tonight" he said. I smile. We go inside and grab a table before looking at the the menus. We see what they have. "Don't think I've been here before" I say. "It's nice. Well you've been here now" Geonu replies. I laugh. We order from the menu what we wanted to eat. The food all sounded so good. We chat for a bit while we wait for our food to come. I could tell that Geonu had that look on his face. He just had that look on his face. Our food was quick to be served actually. We tucked in as soon as it comes. Geonu looked cute as he was eating. I tried not to get too distracted by him though. When Geonu and I had finished eating we go outside and wait. "Do you want a lift home?" I ask. "Sure if it's not too much trouble" he replies. "It's not too much trouble at all. Come on get in" I reply. He gets in my car and I drop him off back home. "I had a great time at dinner tonight" I say. "Me too" Geonu said. There was an awkward silence between us for a second then. "Y/ N, I think I like you and you like me" he said. "Yeah yeah" I reply. "Well that was kinda a date" he said. "Geonu, I do like you but I'm- I'm.... Errrr it doesn't matter" I say. "Tell me, Y/ N" he said. "No it doesn't matter I said" I say. "Don't you want us to be together" he said. "I'm scared of love, Geonu. I've always fantasied being with someone like you but I don't know now" I say. "Y/ N, I'm not forcing you to be with me. I just say I liked you" Geonu said. "I know I know. I never suggested anything like that. I'm just not ready for love yet. I'm not ready to fall in love yet" I reply. "It's okay. Don't worry. Let me know if you change your mind" he said getting out of my car and walking away. So we had a small fight then. I kinda feel like I've made him mad now but I hope not. I did have a nice dinner with Geonu. I just finish it didn't end that way

I think Geonu and I are getting closer now. Maybe I am ready to fall in love. We didn't speak for a few days when we had that little flight after the restaurant. I thought things were going to be awkward between us then but they weren't. Things were how they usually were. It's all fine now. I think Geonu understands that I'm not ready for love just yet. He is a very understanding guy so I should think he understands my situation well. Maybe we will be good together as a couple Geonu and I. But not just yet though. I am seeing Geonu today. I'm meeting him at the mall for something to eat. I am going shopping with my friend but she's going so I can meet Geonu. I thought it would be a good thing to do. I am at the mall with my friend now and we are shopping. I'm meeting Geonu at the food court about an hour and a half from now. So one got time to shop. My friend wants an outfit for a party she's going to so she asked me to help her choose. Half of the outfit is already bought. Good good. We shop for a bit longer before getting milkshakes together. Then it was time for my friend to go and Geonu to arrive so I wait in the food court for him to arrive. He said he was running a few minutes late but I said that's okay. I see him come up the escolar and he waves to me. "Hi, you. Sorry I'm a bit late" he said. "It's fine. Don't worry. At least you're here now" I say. "I am so where should we go to eat" Geonu asks. "Anywhere. I don't mind" I reply. We decide to go to Five Guys for burgers and fries. It's not what I would usually eat but it's okay as a one off. We talk about things and he asked me what I got up to with my friend. I told him shopping of course. We then take a walk through the mall together. We don't look anywhere. Geonu wanted to pay for the food but I paid for myself. "Y/ N, I don't care what you said. You should've let me pay for the food" he said. "I really appreciate that but it was honestly not expensive, Geonu" I say. "Just my offer" he said. "Need a lift?" I ask. "No it's okay I'm getting the bus soon" he said. "You sure" I reply. He nods his head. I look at him and say "Geonu, I think I'm ready for love. Maybe I'm ready to be with you" I say. "Are you sure, Y/ N? We can still take it slow as friends for a bit longer" he said. "I'm so sure, Geonu. I've never been so sure about something before" I reply. "Well if you're ready. I'm ready I think" Geonu said. "I can see us settling down and having a family like 10 years from now" i say. "You are my muse, Y/ N and I mean that" Geonu smiles at me gently and kisses me. So I think it's safe to say that we are together now. What a day?

In the future and Geonu and I found our happily ever after. We are now married. We married after five years of being together. We are now 26 and 27 and happily married with a little boy called Jongdae. He is a year old and he is walking now and really into anything and everything. Awwww we love him so much. He is adorable and handsome just like his daddy. Oh yes definitely like his daddy. Geonu loves playing with our boy. He's always wanted a son. I could watch them all day long. I honestly could. That's what I'm doing right now. Jongdae is playing with mega blocks and Geonu is playing with him. Such a father and son duo. So cute as well. "Jongdae, do you think eomma wants to join in too" Geonu said. Jongdae looks at me and laughs and grins as my hint to join in and play with him. So I get on the floor and play with some mega blocks with Jongdae. He loves playing with these. He could do it all day long. I play with our gorgeous little boy for a while. Jongdae has a lot of fun till he gets tired and wants a nap so Geonu carries him to his bed and tucks him up for his little nap. Jongdae looks so cute tucked up in his bed for a nap. Playing with mega blocks made him tired. I'm so glad I decided to fall in love with Geonu as now we are married with a beautiful little boy
