I am in my second to last year of high school. I will be glad when I graduate and go to university. It's what I've been waiting for ages. I don't know what I want to study yet but I still have time to decide. I have a crush on this cute boy called Eunhwi. He is the prince of the school and he is really cute. My best friend Elissa thinks he likes me but I think she's lying to me. Why would a guy like him like a girl like me? I don't know. Elissa is popular and I'm not. I was the first friend she made when she moved to Korea from the US five years ago. We have been friends since her first day at school in Korea. She's always been there for me and I've always been there for her too. I guess I won't believe her till I hear from Eunhwi himself. Me and him don't reply talk that much. He does look at me sometimes though. He is so handsome too and I don't think I'm pretty enough for him. Elissa tells me I am but I only think she's being biased as she's my best friend. Anyway I will only find out the truth if Eunhwi tells me he likes me. Anyway it's school today as usually five days a week. It's the weekend tomorrow anyway. Thursday today. I was late to school this morning because of the buses so I got a detention so I'm not best pleased about it. I walk through the corridors to my locker as I needed something from it. Haven't seen Elissa yet as we both had different classes first thing. I am in a class with her next. I go to my locker and she appears behind me. "Hey, Y/ N" she said. "Hey, Lis" I reply. We walk to class together. She said she wanted to tell me something but it was  too late as we were going to class so after she will

After class Elissa and I walk out together and start talking. She is going to mention what she was going to tell me earlier before class. "So, Y/ N. Eunhwi definitely does have a crush on you. I found out for sure" Elissa said. "Have you? How?" I reply. "Cause I overheard him talking about you to his friend. He did say your name, Y/ N and that he liked you" she said. "Oh okay. Might have been another girl with the same name as me" I reply. "It was definitely you. You are the only Y/ N in this school" Elissa said. We talk till we go to the next class but I still refuse to believe her on what she told me. It's the end of the day now and I am on my way to the bus stop to catch the bus. Let's hope it doesn't miss because I just want to get home now. Can't wait to get home. I stand by the bus stop for a few minutes. There are other people from school standing around but no one I know. Until Eunhwi stands next to me. What should I say to him. "Hi, Y/ N" he said. "Hi, Eunhwi" I say. "Waiting for the bus" he said. "Yes I am" I reply. "I saw you with Elissa earlier" he said. "Yeah she is my best friend" I say. "When is your bus coming?" Eunhwi asks. "In a few minutes I think" I reply. He smiles. Eunhwi and I talk for a few minutes which was great. "Bye, Y/ N. Nice talking to you" he said. "Nice talking to you too, Eunhwi" I reply. "We will talk again around school i promise" he said. "Yes definitely" I say getting on the bus and nearly falling over. "Careful" Eunhwi said looking concerned over me. I get on the bus just fine. I was blushing from Eunhwi talking to me and being nice and caring over me m. He's so cute and handsome. Maybe Elissa is right that he likes me. I guess I will find out another time

His POV

Y/ N and I have seen more of each other over the last few weeks. She is a really nice girl and I'm getting to know her better which is great. Is it too soon to tell her I like her or should I wait a while till I know her more. Elissa apparently told Y/ N that I like her but Y/ N doesn't believe me now. I actually haven't told her myself that I like her. The school dance is coming up soon and I want to ask her to be my date. I'll have to find the courage to ask her though which might not be easy at first. Anyway I am on my way to my next class of the day Physics and Y/ N is in that class. I don't sit near her. She sits at the other side of the room. I wish she was sitting next to me though. That would be good but she doesn't. I walk into the class and take my seat. Y/ N is already there looking angelic from across the classroom. Wow! The class starts and we sit back listen and take notes on what is important to help with the work. I take notes but I was a little distracted by Y/ N over the other side of the classroom. I try to get on with my work. After an hour physics class was done so I leave the classroom. I put everything back in my bag and leave the classroom. I go to the library as I needed to be there next to print something out for my class after lunch. I go and find a computer and sit down to print it off. I turn my head and Y/ N walks in and sits nearby me. "Hey" she said. "Hi" I say. "What you doing?" she asks. "Just printing something out" I reply. "Same time too. What a coincidence?" she laughs. I laugh back. We both end up going to the printer together. "Going for lunch next" I ask. "Yes" Y/ N replies. "Care to join me" I say. "Sure that'll be nice" she replies. We finish in the library and go to the canteen and get lunch together and sit at a table together. Don't think our friends minded us leaving them. "Y/ N" I begin. "Yes, my friend" she said. "The school dance is coming up soon as you know" I say. "Yes" she replies. "I was wondering if you would like to go with me as my date. It would be really nice if you did" I say. "Yes I would really love to, Eunhwi. I was kinda waiting for you to ask me" Y/ N replies. "Well let's go together then" I reply. "Certainly" she said. I found the courage to ask Y/ N to the school dance and she said yes. Can't wait to go with her

A few weeks later and it's the night of the school dance. Can't wait to go with Y/ N. We have gotten closer in the last few weeks again. Tonight I want to confess my feelings to her after the dance of course. I think it's the perfect night to do it. It's a special night to do a special thing. I have just got ready did the dance now. I came down with a couple of my friends in a cab. Y/ N is on her way and she's meeting me soon. I can't wait to see what she looks like and how beautiful she looks. I wait excitedly for Y/ N with my friends. A car pulls up outside and Y/ N gets out with Elissa after her. I look at her and she looks at me. She walks towards me. She's wearing high heels and a beautiful dress. She looks so pretty. "Hi, Y/ N" I say. "Hey, Eunhwi" she smiles. "Well don't you look amazing" I say. "You do too" she smiles. I smile and hug her. Soon school opens and we could go and enjoy the evening. Food was first though so we helped ourselves to some and find somewhere to sit and eat. We talk while we eat but not too much as we were eating. Later it was dancing time so me and Y/ N took to the floor. Good songs were playing and the atmosphere was great. Y/ N and I giggle and have fun together. We could've danced all night. I pulled her in close to me and danced with her. After dancing for a couple of hours we decided to stop and take a rest and go outside for fresh air. "Are you having fun, Y/ N?" I ask. "So much fun of course" Y/ N replies. "Me too" I smile. We both look at each other and take a breath. "Y/ N, I-I-I really like you. I really do. I wanted to ask you to the dance because I feel some type of way about you" I say. She looks at me and hesitates for a second. "I like you too, Eunhwi. I have had a crush on you since the moment I saw you" Y/ N said. "Have you?" I chuckle. "Yes" she laughs. "I guess it would be a good time to ask you to be my girlfriend since we are at the school dance" I say. "Yes I would love to be your girlfriend, Eunhwi" she smiles. I smile at her and pull her in and kiss her. A magical end to an amazing evening. Y/ N is my girlfriend now and I couldn't be happier
