I am the daughter of the police chief of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Chief Tanaka. My father is quite a serious man who is dedicated to his work and employees. He can be quite sensitive and he has a good heart. I have always felt the pressures growing up of being the daughter of a police chief. I have even been made fun of in school for it. I did not choose to be born to a police chief. A friend of mine since childhood, Yamada Ryosuke is a student detective with my dad. He is his training officer actually. We went to elementary school together and we were in classes together so I know him but obviously we haven't seen each other since we were kids so it was funny that he ended up working with my father. I maybe had a little crush on him back in school but that was ages ago. My dad said that Ryosuke is a skilled defective and he clips be amazing ahhh he's fully qualified. He is good at solving especially murder cases. It's been 6 months since he started. I go in to see my dad at the station every now and then. He gets me to run him errands of things that needs doing which I don't mind so i do get to see Ryosuke every now and then. I had to go and pick something up for him from the delivery office this afternoon at lunchtime so I'm taking it back to the station before I return to work. I will probably see my dad as he's on his working break. I arrived there now and walked past reception. "Hi, Y/ N" the receptionist said. "Hi. Is my dad in his office? I got this for him" I reply. "Yes he should be" she replies. I go and knock on my dads office and enter. "Hi, papa" I say. "Hi, sweetie" he said. "This is for you" I say. "Oh thank you. You are a good daughter" my dad smiles. I talk to my dad for a minute and then I head out. I bumped into Ryosuke on my way out. "Hi, Y/ N. You leaving" he said. "Yes I have to get back to work I'm afraid" I reply. "Oh do you have a minute. I need to ask you something" he said. "Sure yeah I got a minute" I reply. "Well I was wondering if you wanted to grab dinner sometime next week maybe. I understand if you've got plans but it would be nice since we both are you know..." Ryosuke said. Think he was going to say single. "Yes I would love to. I will let you know when I'm available" I say. "Okay brilliant, Y/ N. I'll look forward to that" he said. So did Ryosuke just kinda asked me out. I'll look forward to going out for dinner with him soon

A week later and Ryosuke and I are going out for dinner. I can't wait to go out with him. Maybe it's a date. He didn't say it was but I am beginning to think it is as he just asked me out to dinner. Maybe I should treat it like a date. I will go out with Ryosuke and have a great time tonight anyhow. Can't wait. I am in the bathroom glamming myself up and doing my hair and makeup for our date tonight. I am a little nervous as I haven't been on a date in the best part of a year. Ryosuke and I have known each other since we were kids. I choose a nice dress to wear when I have finished my hair and makeup. I then was ready for our dinner at the nice restaurant. I've never been to the restaurant we are going to tonight so I'll look forward to going out. A cab pulls up outside my house and I get in and it arrives soon. Ryosuke said he would be there in a few minutes so just to wait in the bar for him. I sat in the bar for a couple of minutes before he walked in. "Hey, Y/ N" he said. "Hi, Ryosuke" I smile. "How are you?" he asks. "I'm good thank you" I smile. "Well you look beautiful tonight I must say" Ryosuke said. "Thank you that's so sweet of you. You look handsome too"
I smile. He made me blush for a second then. We get seated and pick up the menus and be looking to see what they have. Ryosuke and I decided to get a sushi board as an appetiser to share between us and it was really good. There were small bite sized sushi's to share. "Well that was so good. I haven't had a sushi as good as that in a while" Ryosuke said. "I have to agree. Me too" I say. We then waited for our main courses to come. I go for Katsu curry and Ryosuke goes for ramen noodle soup. We both eat up our meals and they were delicious. Ryosuke paid for the meal and bought me another drink at the end. We had about two and a half hours together on our date tonight. We left together and stood outside as we waited for our rides to come. "Y/ N, I must admit. That was a date because I really do like you" Ryosuke said. "Was it well I really enjoyed it. I like you too, Ryosuke. You're a really sweet guy" I reply. "Well I would really love to do it again. Have another date with you" he said. "Absolutely" I smiled. So our date went great and can't wait to do it again

Ryosuke and I have been secretly dating for about 6 weeks. We have been keeping it a secret and low key as we don't want my dad to find out that we are dating. We know he's going to find out but we don't want him to know just yet in case he says something and objects to us being together. We are only in the early dating stages of our relationship. We are just keeping it to ourselves for now. Ryosuke and I have a date tonight. We are going to the movies. It's our first movie date and we are looking forward to it. We can't wait actually. I am getting ready for our movie date now and putting on something casual on for our movie date. Jeans with a striped t shirt and a jacket and sneakers of course then I was good to go of course. I leave to the movie theatre to meet Ryosuke there. He said he is waiting inside and he will purchase the tickets. I arrived and saw him inside. "Hey" I say. "Hi, beautiful" he said. "Ohhhhh you've got the tickets already. Let's go this" I say. "I have" he replies. "I'll buy us popcorn and drinks since you've got the tickets so it's fair then" I say. "Are you sure, Y/ N because I don't mind buying everything? It's my treat remember" Ryosuke said. "You sure" I reply. "Yes now I'm getting these snacks and drinks" he says. I let him get the snacks and drinks. Didn't want to disagree with him in public. We find our seats in the movie theatre and sit back and wait for the movie to start which was soon. Me and Ryosuke are looking forward to this movie and have been for a couple of weeks. We have a bucket of popcorn that we are sharing. Popcorn is so good. It's a must at the movies. You definitely have to have it. I was laughing under my breath as Ryosuke was kicking me with his knee. "Stop" I say. "Sorry. Only having a bit of fun" he said. "I know" I laugh back. We both nearly laughed out loud but we were in the movies and didn't want to disturb people. Towards the end of the movie, he touched my hand and looked into my eyes even though we couldn't really see each other. He then leaned in and kissed me and it felt so good. Ryosuke and I had a great movie date to celebrate our 6 weeks together

A few weeks later and Ryosuke and I have been dating nearly 3 months and it's been going great. We really like each other and are falling for each other so that's amazing. It's working out for both of us. We are falling for each other every time we are together. We are yet to tell my dad we are dating. I've told a few of my friends and so has Ryosuke but we want to tell my dad. Hopefully he doesn't think we've been sneaking around and keeping things from him. We might tell him today. I'm going into the police station today to do something for my dad. I am on my way now and almost there. I go to my dads office and knock. I sit down opposite him and start talking to him. As we were talking my phone pings. It was a text from Ryosuke of course asking if I was in the building. "Who's that texting you?" my dad asked. "No one just a friend" I reply. "Y/ N, do you have a man. You've seemed happier and more upbeat lately" dad said. "Ummmm maybe" I reply. "Well who is it then? Someone who works here" he says. "I'm not telling, dad" I say. "Come on, sweetie. You can tell me anything you know" my dad said. "Alright fine. I'm dating Yamada Ryosuke" I say. "My rookie. Really. I knew there was something between you two" he said. "Yeah me too. We've been dating nearly 3 months now"
I say. "My rookie. Why didn't you tell me?" dad says. There was a knock on the door and in comes Ryosuke. I didn't tell him to come. He just came by. "Ryosuke, Y/ N just told me the good news" my dad said. "Oh what?" Ryosuke replies. "About is dating, silly" I reply. "I thought we were going to tell him together" he said. "Well he knows now. Are you happy for us, papa?" I ask. "Yeah but you should've told me sooner. Nothing to hide from me" my dad said. "Well sir as long as you approve of me as your employee dating your daughter then I guess it's all good" Ryosuke said. "Yes I do. You're a good guy and a great detective, Ryosuke but I would've preferred if you asked my permission first before asking Y/ N out but save that for when you want to marry her and I'll see" dad said. "Thanks, papa" I reply. Ryosuke looked at me and we smiled at each other. I can tell that we are going to have a happy and long lasting relationship

A/ N: not familiar with this jpop group yet but I might check them out. Agreed to do this as it was requested and I do jpop as well but I'm only into JO1 and INI at the moment and a bit of The Rampage. Kpop is still no one but hope you liked it and thanks for requesting again
