I have known this guy Hwiyoung for a while. We are not seeing each other but we do like each other a lot. We have kissed a few times and held hands and things. Nothing too intimate or romantic. Hwiyoung said he doesn't believe in love or falling in love so he hasn't asked me out or anything. I'm the total opposite. I believe in love and in a bit of a romantic whereas her is an anti romantic. He even said so himself. He is the only guy I like and I want to be with him but I don't want a relationship with him if he doesn't. There is no point. We won't make it work if he isn't willing to fall in love. I guess there will be other fish in the sea but it's not always that easy when you really like someone but you know you will never be with them. I guess I can only dream that it will work between Hwiyoung and I. I would still like to think so. Anyway tonight I am going to a party and Hwiyoung will be there. I am not meeting him as I'm going with a friend but I will see him there I guess. I do like a good party I do. I am getting ready now with my friend. We are both leaving together soon. The party is at a guy we knows house. He has a big house. When me and my friend were ready we leave my place and catch a cab to the party. We walk into the house and there was loud music was playing. "Let's go get drinks" my friend said. "Sure" I reply we go and get drinks. A text pops up on my phone from Hwiyoung asking if i have arrived yet and I said I just have. I can't see him anywhere yet. He says he's here yet. Me and my friend get drinks and check out the party and where Hwiyoung was. Hopefully I'll see him soon. I would like to see him tonight. It'll be nice. I'm sure he's somewhere in this house

I spot Hwiyoung somewhere in the room with other guys. One of them I've seen before. I walk in the room and he sees me. "Lin, there you are. I knew you would be here" he said. "I told you I was here" I laugh. "Anyway good to see you" he smirks. "Yep" I reply. I sit with Hwiyoung and the other guys and my friends too. He kept on asking me if I wanted a drink but I told him I was okay and I would get it myself if I wanted another one. It was nice of him to ask though. I can sense Hwiyoung flirting with me a bit. He has done that before many of times. His friend was looking at me too. I go into the kitchen and Hwiyoung's friend followed me in. "Lin" he said. "Yes" I reply. "Sorry I didn't introduce myself. My name is Taeyang" he said. He is very handsome but so is Hwiyoung. "Hi, Taeyang" I smile. Taeyang looked at me and I looked at him. "Can I get you anything?" he said sounding nervous. "No thank you. I'm fine" I smile. I think he followed me just so he could talk to me. Taeyang and I exchanged a few more words before joining Hwiyoung and the others back in the room. They were looking at us like we had been gone a long time or like we did something. Me and my friend spend a while longer at the party and it was fun. When I was on my way out with her, Hwiyoung followed behind me. "Lin, don't go. We need to talk" he said. "Talk about what, Hwiyoung. You jealous or something" I reply. He never talks to me like that. "No just need to talk to you" he said grabbing my hand. "What then?" I reply. "You and Taeyang" he said. "There is nothing going on between us if you're implying that" I reply. "I didn't say that, Lin Just saying that's all" Hwiyoung said. "Okay but I know nothing is ever gonna happen between me and you as you don't believe in love and all that crap. Maybe i should find someone else" I say. "Taeyang would be perfect for you. He's a great guy. You should give him a chance. He's so cool" he said. "Maybe I don't know. I've just met him remember. It's not like we are in love" I reply. "I didn't say that. I just think you guys would be good together since I can't give you what you want" Hwiyoung said. "I don't know, Hwiyoung. Anyway see you later" I say. We walk away from each other after our little disagreement after the party. Maybe I will date Taeyang once I get to know him better but I've only just met him so we need to give it sometime. Maybe Hwiyoung wants me to be happy because he knows it won't be with him

I have gotten to know Taeyang pretty well and we are now dating. Well it's nothing serious we have only been on a few dates. It's nothing serious at the moment. Just casually dating and enjoying spending time together. I don't want Hwiyoung to feel left out. He's the guy who will always come first in my life. I know that me and him will never be happily ever after. He says he wants me to find someone else and be happy which I have done. Hwiyoung and Taeyang are actually roommates. Taeyang and I have just been on a movie date tonight and for a romantic meal afterwards. We have had an amazing night together and I'm going back to his place with him. I'm not sleeping in his bed. Just on the couch. We haven't done that yet. Oh no. Taeyang just told me to come back to his as I live further away. It's getting on for midnight and Taeyang and i just got back to his place. He opens the door and we walk in and Hwiyoung was sat on the couch playing a game. "What time do you call this, guys?" he says. "I know it's late" Taeyang replies. "But we had a great time. Didn't we?" I reply. He smiles. "Lin is going to crash here tonight on the couch as she's tired" he said. "Why can't she crash in your bed, dude?" Hwiyoung replies. "No she's sleeping on the couch not in my bed. We don't do that yet" Taeyang said. "But you can share a bed without having sex" he said. "Man, what is your problem. Why can't my girlfriend who is your friend just stay here for the night?" Taeyang said. "I never said she couldn't" he said. "Look guys. It's too late to be fighting like this. We all need some sleep. Okay" I reply. "Alright" Hwiyoung said rolling his eyes. He goes to his room so does Taeyang. I go to the bathroom before crashing on the couch and falling asleep. I didn't want the boys to be arguing like that. I don't like it when people just start fights like that. I'm not one to do that. It will all blow over by morning

Hwiyoung's POV

Taeyang and Lin are still dating but I still like her. Even though I don't believe in love. I want to believe in love. Maybe I will eventually. One day maybe. Taeyang is one of my best mates and I'm happy he's found Lin. I was the one who told her to find someone as I knew I couldn't give her what she wanted. She's a great girl and deserves someone who will love her. Lin and Taeyang are together today. They didn't say where they were going but I just left them to it. I am home now when my phone rings. It's Lin so I answer it. "Hwiyoung, can you come" she says. "What's the matter, Lin?" Why are you crying?" I reply. "Taeyang and I decided to breakup. I don't know why. It was going so well. He didn't give a reason" Y/ N said. "Look I'm coming. Hold on" I reply. I get my shoes on and arrive at Lin's in 20 minutes. That's the kind of friend I am. I do care about her a lot. I get to her place. She said just walk in so I did. I walk in and call her name. "Lin" I say. "In my room" she calls. I sit next to her on her bed. "So tell me what happened?" I ask. "I don't know" Lin starts crying. "It's okay I'm here for you, girl" I reply. He turns to me and smiles drying her tears. "Hwiyoung, it's you that I want. I really did like Taeyang but it's always been you" Lin said. "Lin, I told you should find someone else" I say. "No no" she sobs. "Calm down. I will always be your friend but you know how I feel about love" I reply. "I love you" Lin said. I was stunned for a moment. I always knew she liked me but I didn't know she loved me but you learn something new everyday. I didn't say anything. We just started kissing out of the blue. We just started doing it. Lin's lips tasted so good and I couldn't resist her. We don't take off our clothes or anything. We just make out for a few minutes. "That felt good" I say. "So will you reconsider?" Lin said. "I might" I smirk. "Yeah you better" she said. I smile at her and we lay on her bed for a while looking at each other. Maybe after that make out session with Lin, I might change my mind about love and dating and all that. I guess only time will tell
