Me and Mitsui Ryo have known each other since high school and we have always remained friends with each other even when we left. We are friends now. We were both outsiders in school and felt like we didn't fit in with our peers. I think that's why we got on so well because we both felt like we fitted together. Maybe I have always had secret feelings for Ryo. He is a lovely guy. Really cute and sweet. We have always been close friends though and we have known each other since school so maybe it feels kinda weird having feelings for him. Ryo and I try to see each other as much as we can but sometimes life gets in the way. We try our best though. We like reminiscing on funny school memories. Haha. Some are funny and some are not but we like talking about our school days. Anyway I am seeing Ryo today and we are going for a nice picnic in the park. It was my idea and we are going this afternoon. I have packed up the picnic and I'm meeting Ryo there soon and I can't wait to see him and have a nice picnic in the park with him. I get the picnic ready and make my way there as I'll be meeting him soon. Ryo and I don't need anyone else. Just the two of us. I arrive at the park and wait for him to arrive. He arrives soon. "Hey, you" he said. "Hello trouble" I reply. "You're trouble" Ryo laughs. He pulls me in for one of his big hugs. "Looks like you have lots of food in there" he said. "Yes I do but it's all for me" I smirk. "No you're kidding. It's for me. What do you mean?" he say. "Jeez, Ryo. I'm kidding" I say. "No I know you are. Lol" he said. We find somewhere good to sit and eat our picnic. I was kidding Ryo when I said it was for me. Haha

Ryo and I sat on a picnic blanket and tucked into our food that I packed up. We are sat together and we are enjoying it very much. Ryo kept on thanking me for doing this which is really cute. We keep on talking about funny things that happened in the past but it's all good. "Y/ N" Ryo said. "Yes" I smile. "I just love hanging out with you. It's the best" he said. "Me too. It is the best indeed. Just like you're the best" I reply. "Only thing is. Glad I met you but I would never go back to school again. Ugh no way" Ryo said. "Think I would have to agree on that one. Hated it" I reply. "We were both awkward weirdos but at least we have each other's friendship" he smiles. "Speak for yourself" I laugh. "It's true you know" he laughs. "Oh yeah" I say. It is true that we were both weirdos back in  school and didn't fit in with others. Only with each other. That was the main thing anyway. "Do you remember when we used to go to science class after school and most of the time we were the only two there most of the time?" Ryo said. "Yes I do. It was kinda fun. Just us and Miss Tanaka. It was cool" I reply. "Yeah she was alright. Kinda weird in a way. Like us" he said. Our science teacher was a bit crazy and eccentric as you can imagine science teachers to be. Ryo and I lay down on the picnic blanket and look up at the sky. The dreamy blue sky. "I wanna be those clouds" I say. "Haha they look so soft and fluffy" Ryo replies. "You know that they're full of water" I say. "You were the one that said you wanted to be a cloud" he said. "Ummmm yeah" I reply. We carried on laying there and looking up at the sky for a bit longer. Then we went for a walk around the park together which was nice. Me and Ryo always have great times together. That's the kind of friendship we have

Ryo's POV

I think Y/ N and I have grown even closer recently. We were always close friends in school and felt like we could relate to one another as we both were outsiders. I would call her my closet and best friends. Behind we became friends in school, I was really shy especially around girls. I wouldn't go near girls till I met Y/ N and got to know her. There is something about her. I don't know how to tell her but I really like her. Like I have feelings for her. She is my best friend so I don't know what to say. I've known her for so long. Like almost 10 years now. Maybe one day down the line I will tell her how I feel. Sometimes we will like outsiders now when we are together but not as much as we used to back in the day. I often stop and think about Y/ N quiet often. She is frequently on my mind. Y/ N has asked me to accompany her to a family wedding. She said she didn't want to go alone so she asked me to go as her plus one. I understand why she didn't want go alone. It's never fun going to a wedding single when there are lots of happy couples there. She only told me to come to the after party not the actual ceremony. That's fine anyway. I have just arrived now and I'm waiting for Y/ N to arrive. She said she is on her way from the other venue where the wedding was. I wait outside and see her arriving soon. "Hey, Ryo. Thanks for coming. I'm not single now" Y/ N chuckles. "Hi, Y/ N. Haha" I laugh. She looked very stunning in her wedding outfit. She takes me inside and introduces me to people I don't know. The bride and groom are yet to arrive so the reception hasn't officially started yet. We get some drinks and find somewhere to sit. One of Y/ N's cousins walks by us and says "You two finally together". "No not yet. Just friends" she said. "Oh yeah. I believe that" her cousin laughs as he walks off. We both laugh at her cousins comments. Later the wedding reception starts and Y/ N and I stayed together throughout the evening

Later on the bride and groom had their first dance so we watched and it was beautiful and stunning. Now it was time for everyone to dance so Y/ N and I dance side by side. We made up our own moves and freestyled. We didn't card how we looked to other people. We love dancing and being silly and just having a good time together. We danced for a while to a lot of uptempo songs so it was nice when something slower came on. I looked into Y/ N's eyes and we smiled at each other's eyes. We shared a little moment together as we danced to a slow romantic song. "Y/ N" I whisper to her. "Yes, Ryo" she replies. "You look incredibly beautiful tonight. I think I'm falling for you" I say. She hesitated for a moment and doesn't say anything. She leaves me lingering. "You're so cute and sweet, Ryo" Y/ N said. We carried on dancing till the end of the song then we went outside for some air. "I'm telling you it's nice to get some air" she said. "It is" I reply. "Ryo, we have known each other for so long and you know people think we are a thing but we are not yet. Just best friends. I understand the way you feel and maybe I have always felt the same way about you" Y/ N said. "Do you?" I ask. "Yes I think I do but I still always want to be the best of friends with you. Forever and always" I say. "Y/ N, that is never changing. We will always be the best of friends even if we like each other romantically" I smile. She smiles back at me. "We will. Thank you for coming today. You really are the best" Y/ N said. I smile at her and take her hand and we walk around for a while. Y/ N and I definitely wouldn't rule out a romantic relationship in the future but we will always forever be the best of friends. We will always be each other's soulmates

A/ N: Ryo is a cutie. My bias in NIK. He reminds me of Woozi from Seventeen in a way. Think that's why he is my bias. I need to listen to their album soon. Thought I could do an imagine based on this song
