Erwin's mood turned sour as he watched you from across the room. He wanted you to be with him. He knows you implied years ago that there was nothing going on with you and Levi and he did truly believe you, but jealously was his worst enemy as he couldn't help but envy all the time you spend with him. That time should be spent with him and him only and not anyone else, after all he met you first, and he was your best friend first, not to mention you once shared an intimate relationship that had no labels.

Although, he did want you kept to himself it was still hard for after all these years you've shared with him, that same name echoed in his head. And although he did want to be with you, he didn't want to be at the same time. Being with you would be just like being with Marie, a distraction only in his way of his goal.

His teeth gritted as he eyed one of the cadets staring at you in awe as you began to laugh. You threw your head back as tears reached the corners of your eyes and your cheeks turned red. You covered your mouth trying to hold it in but only failed as you erupted again even louder.

Your infectious laugh caused the table to laugh along with you. The cadets around you looked over and smiled, being pulled in by the warm and friendly aura you gave off.

If anyone were to read Erwin's current thoughts, you'd best believe his "Saint" like image would be out of the picture and be replaced with more of a "Possessive" man.

You squint your eyes as the bright sun and hot, dry air greeted you. You can feel yourself already sweating in your uniform.

Eyeing the cadets all ready standing in their assigned spots, ready to go brought a smile on your face. You swiftly jogged your way to them and began apologizing for being a few minutes late.

"Advisor L/N please don't apologize after all you are the one in charge Ma'am" said a boy with blue eyes and blonde hair.

You looked over at him and immediately recognized him as one of the top cadets, Armin Arlert.

You started approaching him and he began to sweat furiously afraid you were upset that he spoke out of turn and without permission. You stopped right in front of him.

"Armin Arlert, am I correct?"

"Yes Ma'am I apologize for speaking out of turn" he bowed.

He felt a light smack at the back of his head while he bowed to you. He quickly stood back up to his position with wide eyes as he saw you smiling at him.

"Armin your such a sweetheart but there's no need for you to apologize to me, Thank you"

Armin relaxed and exhaled. He blessed the sky for placing him in your group afraid he was gonna wind up with a strict and scary instructor. He smiled at you and gave you a nod.

You walked back to the center of the formation of the group to address everyone.

"Good Morning Cadets, I am Advisor Y/N L/N. I would really like if you just addressed me as just Y/N for I do not like to be addressed as if I am a senior citizen"

The cadets erupted into laughter and you couldn't help but chuckle with them.

"Alright, settle down..Anyways I am aware its awfully hot out here and I know you don't want to be out under the sun doing hand to hand combat training and touching your comrades sticky, nasty, sweaty skin so I thought it'd be fun to instead practice some ODM training"

"Alright!" you hear someone in the background yell.

"Well I take it as a yes from the rest of you?"

"YES Y/N MA'AM" the group said in unison.

You clasped your hands together as a smile appeared on your face.

"Great! Let's go shall we!"

The cadets excitedly made their way to grab their gear as they talked to one another happy to have ended up in your group and not in Levi's nor anyone else's.

As they practiced you couldn't help but still feel guilty for leaving them baking under the sun while you took your sweet ass time heading over to them. You looked around and spotted Erwin. 

You ran to him as you greeted him with a hug.

"Aren't you suppose to be taking care of a group right now?" he smiled down at you

"Yeah, but I need a favor"

"Oh, from me?"

"Yes, can you just watch over them just for a moment while I do something real quick it's really important"

He looked down at you as he stared at your eyes. They were glowing as the sun reflected in your eyes. He huffed as he nodded his head earning himself another tight hug from you.

"Thank you! I'll bring you some too" you said while you began to run into HQ.

"Bring me some?" he stood confused not understanding what you meant.

He shrugged his shoulders and made his way to the practice forest as he eyed the cadets while taking notes of them. The cadets noticed Erwin taking over and they grew even more excited, for the infamous and future Commander was watching them. The cadets greeted them as they passed by and Erwin shot them his charming million dollar smile, greeting them with the most pleasant voice they've ever heard.

"Commander- I mean Advisor Smith, where is Y/N?" asked one of the gushing female cadets.

"The lovely Y/N stepped out just for a moment, she will be here shorty gorgeous" he said giving her a smile.

The girl quickly blushed and nodded her head.

"Advisor Smith may I ask a question?" asked the other female next to her.

"Sure pretty, what is it?"

"You and Y/N are very kind, you seemed perfect for each other so I gotta ask..What did a bright positive energy like her see in Captain Levi? They seem like total polar opposites"

Erwin's saint like facade almost broke for a second as a flame of jealousy ignited in him. His hands gripped into a fist. He quickly avoided his brows from furrowing as he placed a gently tight lip smile on his face.

" Forgive me, I don't seem to understand your question"

The girls looked at each other

"Are Y/N and Captain Levi not in a relationship? Everyone seems to think they are since the ceremony when we first meet them"

"The Ceremony?"

"Yes, while Commander Shadis spoke, they were in the back. Levi had his head on Y/N's shoulder as they cuddled up and laughed together. They seemed to be having a good time. We all still see them around together so we assumed it was a confirmed relationship"

" Sorry lovelies but -"

"I'M BACK, CADETS GATHER AROUND AND HURRY UP THIS SHIT IS PRETTY HEAVY"  you said as you interrupted the conversation between Erwin and the female cadets.

They all excused themselves as they saluted to Erwin and ran off.

Erwin turned to see you and- His eyes darken seeing Levi next to you helping you hold a giant container filled with liquid. His eyes completely jumped out of his eyes even more noticing the small details. You had messy hair, a few buttons unbuttoned and sweat dripping down, as did Levi. He closed his eyes as he took a deep breathe to calm down before approaching the both of you.

"Sorry for walking out on you, I'm sure the all so charming Advisor Smith took care of you guys well?"

The cadets nodded in response.

"Great! So I couldn't help but still feel guilty for leaving you guys baking under the sun while I took my sweet ass time so I wanted to gift you guys some Ice Tea for being so understanding and for working so hard under this crazy heat. I even got the Tea expert to make a perfect batch just for you guys!"

The cadets cheered as they thanked you and Levi. They lined up while you happily served them and dismissed them, thanking them for a great day today.
