You sat next to Erwin as the meeting for the Superiors began. You can feel his warm hand holding yours underneath the table as he placed it on his thigh, lightly bouncing it up and down.

You looked down at your notes finalizing your very own built strategy. Erwin had been bothering you for days to show him it, offering to help you but you kindly declined as you wanted to learn how to come up with ideas on your own. You didn't realize that Erwin was actually pissed off when you said no, hoping to some how sabotage it or take credit for it.

"Advisor Smith" said Shadis as he sat back on his red leather chair.

He gave your hand a small squeeze before he stood up.

" I think the way we are training our cadets right now is the best strategy to convert them into the perfect soldier to kill those fouls creatures. If anything I'd like them to focus more on their studies instead of slacking off. Maybe reinforce more teachings? I'm sure the more information they gain the better soldier they'll be"

"Very good Smith, And you agreed with this L/N?" Shadis said looking at you.

"Well sir, I actually didn't collaborate with Smith this time. I've come up with my very own instead" you said shyly smiling at him.

Shadis raised his brow in amusement, "Well this is new, no more crime fighting duo"

"No, of course they'll be times where we might collaborate, but I would like to have my independence and come up with my own ideas sir"

"I see good progress in you L/N, Smith is there anything you'd like to add before we move on to Advisor L/N?"

Erwin bit the inside of his cheek as he saw Shadis smiling at you, proud for your growth at self development.

"I'm sure what we may have might just be similar, You know the saying great minds think alike" he said chuckling, the staff chuckled as well except for Levi.

"But no, go ahead sweetheart" he said winking at you, his last attempt to get you flustered so you'd mess up whatever nonsense it was you had to say.

Instead of blushing you gave him a firm nod, you looked at your papers one last time and stood up.

"Commander Shadis, Staff. Although I do believe our strategical training has made many great soldiers such as the incredible Advisor Erwin and Captain Levi, I can't help but think that the cadets need to focus on 6 main points"

Erwin's eyes widen hearing your words escape your mouth, he's never heard you speak with such full formality and confidence when speaking strategies mostly you'd let Erwin steal the spot light when you both would present together. You usually would speak a few words of agreement or just nod your head.

"Strength, Dexterity,Concentration, Stamina, Health and Leadership are our main points to get across our soldiers in order to get them to become the best killing machines. Sure the training we have done so far has built their strength and stamina but what about the rest. Please consider that the rest are just as important. We can training them by putting them in difficult, random and different situations allowing them to practice concentrating well on their targeted goal. We can have each cadet take turns leading a group as well, testing out their leadership skills. And since we now are sure that there are indeed human-titans we should allow them to practice their dexterity incase they ever have the chance to try and grab them when they are off guard in human form. Besides we never know if we ever make enemies with other people, it's a good thing to have overall. And lastly Health, I think we all know that a healthy solider is a strong soldier." you chuckled at the last part.

You looked at Shadis who just stared at you with his dark eyes. You gulped feeling the tension in the air. How you wished you had given in to Erwin and had him explaining instead of you.

They probably thought it was a stupid idea and think you're a lunatic.

"Um well that's my strategy for making the perfect soldier" you said as you sat down.

"Did..Erwin help you with this?" asked one of the advisors across from you.

"No Ma'am" you said shyly starting to feel embarrassed.

The room stood quiet for the moment and all you could do was stare at the paper in front of you. You just wanted to crumble your stupid notes and leave as soon as possible. You glanced at Erwin hoping for some form of a reassuring smile. All you saw was him looking off, his jaw look tighten and clenched as if his teeth were almost grinding. His blue eyes didn't shine and his brows held no expression in them. He just looked kinda mad. You looked at your hands as you started playing with them.

Man I really embarrassed him today. Why didn't I just say yes to him when he asked to help? Everyone in this room thinks I'm a complete idiot. I only made it this far as an advisor because of Erwin. I don't deserve the Commander spot.

"Y/N..How long did it take you to come up with this. Was it something quick or something you've thought of for a while?" asked Shadis.

"Well, to be honest sir. It's always been a thought in the back of my head just floating around, but when we were giving the assignment to think about it I already knew what I wanted to say"

You felt a stare as you talked and already recognize Levi's aura radiating off of it. You didn't bother to even look at him, scared you probably embarrassed him too. After all he's always said he doesn't associate with complete idiots.

"Y/N, I'm very impressed. I'm.. astonished. That is exactly a Commander Answer" Shadis said.

Your head shot up as you looked at him with doe eyes. You felt your heart pacing with excitement hearing the compliment. You were even more thrown off as you hear a few claps followed with compliments and nods of approval. You couldn't help but blush at the attention.

You looked at Levi who had half his face into a cup of tea. You can see as a small smile making a way to his lips as he eyed you before he sipped his tea, a thumbs up on his right hand.

Erwin couldn't control himself as he felt himself pinch you harshly in anger and jealousy. The praises were suppose to be for him like always, why was everything the complete opposite of how it should be! Did they forget he was known as the saint, the savior, the hope of humanity?!

You felt a harsh pinch on your thigh. You jumped at the pain and looked to see Erwin. For a second his eyes were still pale and his straight lined lips were still present. When he saw you looking at him, his face showed you a smile as he bent down to kiss your cheek. You blushed at the public affection. Erwin flashed his million dollar smile as he pulled you in into a tight crushing side hug.

"I told you, Great minds think alike" he said to the rest of the staff as they laughed.
