"With all due respect sir. I don't think they're ready yet. This is a very serious mission"

"I agree" Levi nodded his head.

"Commander Shadis, I'd like to disagree, I believe we had more than enough time to get these soldiers ready" said Erwin.

"Sir, but what about the strategies we talked about?! We still have so much to-"

"L/N, quiet. I very much would like to listen to Smith. After all he is the one to come up with the route for the expedition."

"But I've been the one training the-"

"I said quiet"

You shut your mouth as you looked down at your feet. Your hands in fists. There was no way you can throw the new cadets out there so soon, they weren't ready just yet.

"Sir, this is a suicide mission" Levi stepped forward.

"Yes, to those who didn't try their best" retorted Erwin.

"Thank you Ackerman, but this is between Advisors and Commander. You are here to learn any new information that might be given out"

Shadis looked down at his map. He overlapped his hands as he sat thinking about the fate of the cadets.

"Smith, have you seen the cadets? How are they?"

Erwin stood behind Shadis, hands on the head of the chair. Erwin looked forward at Levi then you, a smile formed on his face.

"From what I seen, L/N and Ackerman have done a good job preparing them. I say they're more than enough ready, I think these two just underestimate their teaching skills"

You began grinding your teeth, anxious to open your mouth. You turned to Levi who held a piercing glaze straight at Erwin. The room was silent, but a dangerous aurora full of hatred swallowed the room whole.

Erwin picked up the flare gun as he spun the revolver of color powder in it. He looked blankly straight forward as he thought for a minute. He looked over at you and pointed at you.

"Pew,Pew" he said, pretending as if the gun set off towards you.

Your eyes darken at his actions.

Fuck being the savior of humanity, he truly was the devil in disguise.

"Hey, if you think about it. Even if they aren't ready. They can always use these to call for help. I'm sure the great Advisor L/N and Captain Ackerman will be there to save them in no time"

He said as he handed over the flare gun to Shadis. Shadis looked at the gun and nodded his head in agreement.

"Hmm. Good point. I'm sure the other vets as well will be near by to help out our rookies from harms way"

Shadis set down the flare gun and looked back one last time at the map.

"L/N, if what you say is true. If they truly aren't ready, how much time do you think you'd need?"

"Sir, forgive me, but I have no estimated answer. It's all up to them and the amount of effort they put in their training starting today"

"How about I give you a month"

"A MONTH?! SIR, THAT'S TOO LITTLE TIME"

"I think that's a wonderful amount of time" Erwin beamed at Shadis.

"2 Months and nothing more L/N. I can't push this back any more."

"I-I can't do 2 months"

"YOU WILL! UNLESS YOU AREN'T CAPABLE OF DOING YOUR JOB L/N"
