You felt a small shiver when you walked out of school, winter break finally starting. Everyone around you was screaming their goodbyes to their friends, yet you only kept on walking in silence.

You couldn't believe how time had quickly passed so much to the point it was now officially winter break. Maybe if the time is right, you'd be able to confess during said break..

"We will definitely hangout during break, eh, (Y/n)-chan?" Zenitsu's call made you turn around, a small smile appearing on your lips before you nodded. "Duh! I would die from boredom if I didn't get to see any of you!" you exclaimed while the blonde caught up to you, Inosuke and Aoi trailing after him.

"Any special plans for Christmas?" Aoi asked you once she closer, a grin on her lips. You simply shrugged with a shake of your head.

"We're probably just going to binge watch some comedy movies before we get to bed, but of course my mom would be getting the presents ready and stuff." you explain, the black haired girl nodding along your words. "Yeah, same with us. Nothing too exciting," she admitted, looking up to the sky as thick clouds blocked the winter sun, it looked as if it was about to snow in any moment.

"I'm surprised it isn't as cold as last winter was yet!" Aoi suddenly said, a smile of approval on her face. "I'm glad it isn't as cold!!" you interjected, feeling your body shiver once more as a cold breeze went right through your winter coat. Your exposed legs immediately getting goosebumps.

She giggled before letting a comfortable silence erupt, ignoring Zenitsu and Inosuke's bickering in the background. "Sorry to bring it up, but when are you planning on confessing?" she asked you, her soft tone easing your nerves from the thought of this confession. You sighed, interlocking your fingers together behind your back before deciding on an answer.

"I'm not so sure, but any time I find the both of us alone." the girl beside you nodded, placing a finger on her chin as she pondered away into her thoughts. "That's actually smart. Just let me know when so that I can come over and be that shoulder to cry on!" she said, a gentle smile on her lips before Zenitsu and Inosuke butted into the conversation.

"WAHHH??!! I WANNA JOINNNN!!" the blonde boy had whined out, Inosuke bonking his head with his fist to shut him up. "I'll be the one joinin' in first, you stupid ass!" he snapped, smiling triumphantly before Aoi began on scolding him.

"I will be first, since I was the one with the idea anyways!" she spat, a frown evident on her face before she crossed her arms against her chest. "Anyways, I better hurry my ass home since my mother requested for me to make dinner with her!" Aoi suddenly exclaimed as her eyes widened, realizing she was running a bit late. You along with Zenitsu sweatdropped from how quickly her mood changed.

She started to jog towards her neighborhood. Aoi turned around and began waving an arm frantically at you, Zenitsu and Inosuke. "I'll see you guys soon!!!" she shouted, a smile on her face still.

You smiled back, returning the gesture as you wave your arm frantically. Inosuke joined you while Zenitsu only gave her a small wave.

"We'll see you, Aoi-chan!" you said before turning towards your own neighborhood where you and Inosuke resided in, leaving Zenitsu to walk home by himself. "Tell that hot neighbour of yours, Kaigaku, that I said hi!!!" you shouted at Zenitsu before you both parted ways, making him wince as he nervously nodded, lips formed into a thin line.

I forgot he's scared shitless of him..

Your thought made you snort, but you still sent your friend a sympathetic smile before turning back around. You and your best friend walked up the street, the both of you shivering from the cold. "Today was such a long ass day.." you muttered while yawning, placing a hand to your mouth as your eyes watered.
