Standing before the building, Y/n contemplated her choices in life. Again. And was this the best decision at the moment? Probably not. As she scanned the masonry work, she noticed that not much has changed in the last three years. The paint was updated, but everything else stayed the same. Even the name that wasn't lost on her still flashed in neon in the dark of night.
The Wolf's Den
That didn't matter today, though. It was long before the doors would open. Y/n knew the two men she wanted to start with occupied the building. She wondered if they would put up a fight. Would they argue? Would they admit anything? Did they even know anything?
Rooted to her spot, Y/n crossed her arms. Her white turtle-neck accented her curved body. The dark-wash jeans hugged her legs tightly. The heeled ankle boots were cute and flirty. Then, her high ponytail was curled, tied neatly in place with a red ribbon. The internal debate was still warring within the woman. Obito wasn't going to like this at all.
Sighing and relenting to her fate, she walked forward. Hitting the buzzer, she waited for someone to respond. Y/n hadn't felt this nervous in quite some time. She shifted her stance a few times before the sound of someone pressing the intercom hit her ears.
"Auditions are tomorrow, babe," Y/n smiled lightly at the voice.
Looking up to the camera, Y/n pressed the intercom, "Take a closer look, shithead."
There was a long pause. Longer than was warranted for her appearance. Y/n was anxious before she exited her car. Now she was nervous. She's gone soft in the last few years; that's all there was to it.
The buzzer chimed, signaling the main door to the club unlocking. Y/n took hold of the handle and pulled it open. Stepping in, Y/n scanned the space. Not much had changed inside either. They'd update the tables and chairs, as well as some new paint. That was it.
A door upstairs opened, and Y/n turned to look at the overlook. Then, with an indifferent expression on her face, she moved to walk up the stairs. Keeping herself calm, Y/n knew this could go one of two ways. She would leave with nothing. Or she would confirm her biggest fears.
Stopping before the male, she crossed her arms. His hair was slicked back. Black jeans and a simple white shirt. He was agitated as he looked at her. There was a flicker of emotion somewhere inside those eyes of his, but it didn't last very long.
"Hidan," Y/n's voice was smooth and confident, "It's been a long time. I hear the clubs been doing good."
Hidan knew the small talk was all for show. "What do you want, Y/n?"
Tilting her head, Y/n taunted the man, "Where did the sweet-talking man I know go?"
With a smirk on his lips, he didn't skip a beat, "Prison."
"Y/n?" The second voice piped from within the office that Hidan had left. His head appeared next. With a hesitant smile on his face, he stepped out to join the two. "What brings you here?" His blonde hair was in a tight ponytail, the undercut sexy as ever. Whitewash jeans and a blue plaid pearl snap.
Shrugging, Y/n dropped her arms, "A girl can't stop by to see old friends, Deidara?"
"I was curious when you were going to show up," the third voice wasn't surprising to Y/n. She simply didn't expect him at the club on Monday. "You're pushing your luck."
Turning around, Y/n faced the brunette, "Kakuzu," she arched a brow, "You don't work Mondays."
The man was in brown slacks and an off-white buttondown for the day. Always dressed sharp and well put together. The man loved money, and he loved to wear money. Fitting.
