The Next Morning

I am just finishing up my cereal when I hear a knock on the door. It must be the girls.

I walk over to the door from the kitchen in three strides, opening it. "Hey!" They all say, and then Olivia asks, "Where's Ty?"

"Oh, he already left to go out with the guys," I say. She nods. "So we should get going?" Camden suggests.

"Hold on, just let me get dressed. Come on in and sit down," I say letting them in and shutting the door.

I walk to the kitchen as they talk, dumping my cereal and putting my bowl in the sink. I then walk to my room, and get dressed. I put on my simple outfit.

I wear a black t-shirt and some black shorts, and some black sneakers. I race downstairs. I see Abby blowing a bubble with the gum in her mouth, which pops onto her lips. "Ready?" She asks, once getting the gum off. "Yeah," I say.

"Hello," a woman with short, black hair greets us as we step into Dauntless Secret. "My name is Cher, if you need any help, just call me."

"Okay," Olivia says. I cross my arms. "Why are we in here?" I ask.

"You need something that you haven't had since before the choosing ceremony!" Ariana sighs. I groan. The girls rush around, taking many clothing articles off of the racks and throwing them at me. I walk into a changing room, trying them on.

I come back out, after trying them all on, and hand Abby the ones I want. "You're paying for those," I say to her. "Alright," she smiles.

"I just think that Ty would enjoy these, so I'll pay for them!" She says, winking. "You just got plain black? You're lame."

I roll my eyes.

"Abby," I sigh, "you are insane."

Once Abby pays, we walk back out to the Pit, and walk up one of the wall trails, until we reach Dauntless Bridal, by the glass ceiling, which is letting in an Orange light from the sunset.

The "Dare" games will begin soon, meaning that it's almost time for me to go to work.

I promised Ty that I'd go to help him once they start coming in, intoxicated, to get a tattoo of God knows what on a place on their body that, most of time, you don't need to see.

But, Oh well, I promised him.

Ariana grips my wrist even tighter, shaking me from my deep, and sometimes incredibly disturbing, thoughts.

"C'mon! There's the Bridal Shoppe!" She giggles. Abby and Olivia joke around beside us, and Olivia slaps Abby in the ribs.

Abby's normally blonde, now dip-dyed red hair flips over, then back up as she laughs.
