In My Room- Yellow Claw
Maddie

"Maddie, Maddie wake up!" I hear a voice. I open my eyes, still half asleep, and see Ty beside my bed. "We're late." He says, biting his lip. I sit up and rub the sleep out of my eyes.

That's when I realize, I'm not at my apartment at all. I'm at Ty's. "Oh shit." I say. Ty turns from his closet to face me. He looks at me, a confused look on his face, his eyebrows furrowed.

"What?" He asks.

"I didn't bring any clothes." I bite my lip. Ty turns back to his closet and pulls out a black sweater-shirt. He tosses it to me, grinning. I smile, then walk to the bathroom. I quickly take off my old shirt and pull the new one on. I'm still wearing my black jeans from yesterday, but I don't care.

I brush my teeth with my toothbrush that I leave at his house, then brush my hair and walk out into the hallway. "Ready?" Ty asks me when I enter the living room. I nod.

With that, we walk out into the hall, Ty locking his door once we do. When he finishes, we jog to work. "Don't tell my Dad." I tell Ty. He nods his head. "More or less, don't tell your Dad because then he'll tell my Dad."

"Okay, I won't." He says as we arrive at the tattoo parlor and step inside. Tori looks up from a computer and gives us a chastising look.

"Late today, are we?" She asks. I look at Ty and he nods. I turn and look at the clock. It's ten fifteen. We got to work an hour late! I look back at Tori. "It's okay this one time, but don't let it happen again." I nod.

"Thanks." Ty and I say, and Tori smiles. It's one of those smiles that always confuse me, because it somewhat looks like a smirk but then it looks like a smile. I think about it for a second, then realize that Ty and I were both late, and we both walked in at the same time. She undoubtedly knows that something's up.

To make things worse, Tori is close to my parents, which means that my Dad will find out, which means that I'm screwed. I bite my lip, then walk over to my corner of the tattoo parlor and sit down.

Ty stands across the room from me, his back to me. I smile when I look at him. His shoulders are broad, his shirt somewhat tight against his muscular body. I can see his faction seal tattoo on his right arm, and I nearly melt. I like to trace it when I'm bored, for it calms me down.

In a flash it seems he's standing in front of me. He smiles, then lightly traces over my hand with his fingers. I grin. I can see Tori watching us out of the corner of my eye, but I ignore her. I focus only on Ty. I smile when he winks at me.

"Hey," he whispers, "That's a nice shirt."

I smile up at him, the shirt comforting me not because it's a sweater, but because it smells like him. "Thanks."

>>        Four

"Morning, Zeke." I say as I walk into the control room. It's eight fifty seven, which means that I made it to work on time today. I sit down beside Zeke, who is currently trying to log into his computer.

"Hey Four." He says to me, "Fuck, I forgot my password. Guess I'll have to reset it again." He says, then opens up another screen. I roll my eyes, then open up today's footage from all over the compound.
