I hear a knock on the door, and Ty stands up from the couch, going over to answer it.

He opens up the door, and I hear a laugh. "Hey, Ashton. Hey Abby." He says, and Ashton pats Ty's head.

Abby stands from beside them, staring at the door, an upset expression painted on her face. "Abby, you okay?" Ty speaks my thoughts, and Abby snaps up from where she was looking.

"Um. Yeah. I'm great! Hey Maddie!" She walks over to me. She engulfs me in a hug, and then looks at my stomach. "Six months, right?" She asks, and I nod.

"It's a boy." I smile, and Abby grins. She sits down beside me on the couch, and closes her eyes. I take in her appearance.

She wears a dark grey shirt with a black jacket, along with black leggings and furry black boots. Her red hair is curled loosely, and her freckles seem to flow on her face.

She looks like she's put on a few pounds over the past couple of months, since I really last talked to her. Ashton and Ty now talk in the kitchen, where they both sit at the bar.

"Let's go!" Ashton says to Ty loudly.

"Alright," Ty says, "I bet that you can't even build anything."

"I guess the games have begun, Ty. May the best brother win." Ashton nods his head and they both run out the door, probably to the hardware store, where they can get the crib.

Abby and Ashton arrived at the house less than and hour ago to help with the nursery, but I can already tell that there's something wrong with Abby. She seems very distracted, and ends up just staring at walls.

I tap Abby's shoulder. "Wanna come help me organize some toys and things for the shelves once they're built?" I ask her. She nods excitedly. Abby loves to organize.

We both walk downstairs, and I lead her to the office. I pull out two brown wooden weaved baskets, and two white ones that are identical to the brown ones. I then pull out a small box, which is filled with toys that Hunter went out with Ty and bought.

Hunter knows these things because of the experience with Lucas.

We go into my office, which is across the hall from Ty's, which is really just a storage room now, and sit down at a table in the corner.

We sit in silence, Abby shifting the baskets around so that certain toys are in different spots of the baskets, even making labels for them all. Eventually she stops, and just throws her head back. She looks at me, her eyes glossy. She blinks the tears away, and I furrow my eyebrows.

"Abby, what's wrong?" I ask her, and she shakes her head.

"I have something to tell you." She whispers, turning around as if she thinks someone would be standing behind her. "I've been hiding something from everyone for the past couple of months." She whispers.

She twists her wedding ring on her finger, pulling it up to her knuckle and then back down again. I stare at her in confusion. Did she cheat on Ashton or something? I didn't think that she would do that.
