THIS IS A ONESHOT, BUT IT'S ACTUALLY HOW I WANTED THE PROPOSAL TO HAPPEN. SORRY I MESSED IT UP IN THE BEGINNING!

I wake in the arms of Ty. I bury my head in his chest, under his chin, whenever he stirs. "Good morning, Maddie." He says, his voice the slightest bit raspy. I almost lose my self control at the sound of it.

"Good morning." I say into his chest, but it comes out as a rumbling mumble. I hug him and he chuckles, reaching over to grab his watch. He looks at the time and I want to kiss him senseless. As he stares into the glass of the watch, his emerald green eyes begin to glow in the light of the sunrise, and his hair is tousled as he smiles at the watch.

"Work in thirty minutes." Ty says, and I sigh.

"I'm this close to calling in." I say and hold my fingers really close together. Ty laughs slightly. He looks down at his watch again, then frowns.

"I actually can't go to work today," he says, "I've got to talk to my Dad." He rolls his eyes. I frown, then nod. "I'll make it up to you later." He whispers into my ear when he sees my sad face, his skin prickly against my cheek since he hasn't shaved.

"Okay." I say, my lips suddenly feeling numb. He smiles, then kisses me quickly before getting out of the bed. I sit up and look around my room. Ty stayed at my house last night, something he's grown accustomed to recently. I stand up and walk over to my closet, sliding open the door.

I pull out a pair of leggings and a maroon t-shirt. I get dressed quickly, already feeling like I'm running late. I then put on my makeup and walk out into the hallway. I brush my teeth, and then walk into the living room to see Ty standing there in his regular black jeans and a hoodie, also known as The Ty.

He puts his phone in the pocket of the hoodie when he sees me. He kisses my forehead and then smiles at me. "Ready to go? I'll walk with you to work and then I'll head to my Dad's." He says.

I nod. "I'm already ready for this day to be over. You're not even gone and I already miss you." I say, leaning into his side once I get my phone. He chuckles.

"Oh this day is going to end up being one of the best days of your life, I can already tell." He says, and I furrow my eyebrows, but let it slide as we leave. I lock the door, then we begin walking to the tattoo parlor, hand in hand.

"I'm already tired." I say through a yawn. Ty chuckles, then places his hand on my far shoulder, massaging it. "Oh, that actually feels nice." I say when he continues to massage the skin. "I've been so tense lately, it's unreal."

He soon stops when I move slightly to hug him. "I see a lot of those in my future." I laugh. He grins widely at my mention of a future with him. I smile as well, just to let him know that I'm thinking the same thing that he is.

I see it, too, Ty. I see you and I far in the future, spending time with our future children, obviously we'll be making love all the time, balancing out work and family, sitting at the Hub while our children make their choices, holding our grandchildren. Fuck, it's gonna be a good life.

We arrive at the entrance and before we reach the door, Ty pulls me to him. I look around and don't see anyone near us, so I curl into him, his body, his safety net. One thing that I love about Ty is that he's just like me, but he keeps me safe from everyone.
