Ty looks down at Hannah as we walk through the apartment corridor near the pit, shaking his head. "I can't believe it's already been a year." He smiles at me.

"I know, I can't either." I smile at him as well, approaching the apartment. Hannah is now dressed in a little pink long sleeved shirt and pink glittery tutu, with black leggings and socks. She has a little pink bow holding her hair into a whale spout ponytail as well.

We changed her after we made it back to Dauntless, taking her out of the strap also, so that her little tutu didn't get squished in the strap.

She sits on my hip as we turn down the hallway of the apartment. A bunch of glittery bows and streamers cover the front door, letters in the middle spelling out, Happy Birthday!

"Yee!" She claps her hands as Ty knocks on the door three times, then stands still. I hear whispers, and I think Hannah does too, because her ears almost seem to perk up as she directs her attention to the door of the apartment.

"Ah!" She says, her mouth open wide and eyebrows raised in surprise. I smile, kissing her little nose that's directly in front of my face. She's wrapped herself around my stomach now, staring at my eyes directly.

Ty taps his foot, and I turn Hannah to face in front of me, as if she were in the strap, so that she can see, and Ty opens the door.

Everyone jumps up from behind furniture and shouts, "Happy Birthday!" which scares Hannah. Her face contorts and she cries, fisting my shirt in her teeny fingers.

I shut the door, and walk Hannah over to the freezer. "Shh, baby girl. Shh." I kiss her cheek and she only cries louder. "You want one?" I ask her as I open the freezer door and point to the little mesh pacifiers with the fruit.

"No!" She continues to cry, laying her head on my shoulder. I sigh, and shut the freezer door.

"Hannah, you are really something." Ariana smiles at Hannah from in front of me, and Hannah's crying eases off just the tiniest bit.

"You cutie." Ariana says, and Hannah buries her head in my shoulder. I kiss Hannah's cheek, and smile at her, making a face. Hannah tries to laugh, but it comes out as a gurgle. "Sorry, she's a little bashful." I say to Ariana, and she smiles.

Ariana tickles Hannah, and Hannah makes a sort of face that makes her look like Ty, and my heart just melts. Hannah gurgles, still crying, until she laughs. I smile, thanking Ariana, and turn to everyone else, Hannah now smiling and happy.

I make my way to where Ty still stands in the living room, in front of the door, and stand beside him.

My mother leads a line of people who dance around behind her, making it look like she has many arms. She makes a face until she nearly dies laughing.

"Happy Birthday, Hannah!" Uriah smiles from directly behind Tris. "Uri!" She nearly screams as he tickles her sides. I look over at Ty and raise my eyebrows as he looks back at me.

I see my father behind them, along with Marlene, and they both have certain expressions on their face. Marlene's is of sadness and jealousy; my father's is somewhat sadness and anger- a heavy mixture of the two.
