I was watching a video about how to make the fast food industry mad, and one of the ways was to ask for extra large portions of everything you ordered. 😂

"So what are we doing today?" I say to Hunter, looking at a chart on the wall. "Looks like firing guns and knife throwing." He glances at the chart while laying out some guns on a table.

"Okay," I say, walking over to help him. "Have you decided when you're going to propose to Ariana?" I ask.

"Yeah. I have the ring. I'm going to propose tonight at the chasm." He states. "Alex wanted me to propose mid-intercourse, but I said no." He finishes.

"Well, that's Alex." I roll my eyes. We finish setting out the guns, and lean against the table in the corner, waiting for the initiates.

"Mom's coming to oversee training." Hunter says. "So don't goof up." He stares at the wall, as if he's in a daze.

"I won't." I reassure him.

The sound of the metal door creaking open snaps me out of thoughts. "Good Morning," I say. Krystale rolls her eyes. "Like you really meant it." She snaps. I just pretend to ignore her.

Soon, all of the initiates have entered the room, and they roam around talking. "Get in a line!" I shout, walking down the row of targets. The table of guns is beside me.

Only Trevonne, Adam, and Marie get in the line. Everyone else stays astray; Krystale rolls her eyes at me. "GET IN A LINE!" I shout.

Everyone gets in the line except for Krystale, who sits in the corner of the room, braiding her hair. I go to the chart that has initiate points, and deduct twenty from hers.

I walk back over to the line, and pick up a gun. Krystale stands up. She stalks to the line, and gets in front of everyone.

Hunter delivers a speech about the safe way to use a gun, and how to shoot one. "Go." I say.

They don't move. I fire the gun at the target, and it hits dead center. They all gape at me. "I said go!" I shout. They scatter like cockroaches in a ring of light.

They all begin to shoot, and they all miss the middle by a mile. Marie almost falls backwards because of the recoil.

I walk over to her, and guide her hands. "Inhale. Exhale. Fire." I say. She inhales and exhales, and then pulls the trigger.

She still shakes when she pulls the trigger, but it's better than before.

Trey begins to make slight improvements in his stance; at least his bullets are actually hitting the targets.

Hunter walks slowly behind each initiate, examining their stances, the way they hold the gun, and where their bullets are landing.

My mother sits behind us at the table, marking some things on the chart. Krystale throws the gun around. I walk up to her and take her gun. I point it at her.

I place my hand on the trigger. "This is a loaded weapon. Act like it." I shove it at her chest and she falls over. I turn the safety on and drop the gun on the ground beside her.

I walk over to the charts on the wall and take off more points for Krystale. I look at each of their names carefully. Then I see the name.

Adam's name. His last name is Prior. I take the chart off the wall, and hand it to my mother. "Look." I say. she inspects it carefully, then looks up for Adam.
