Burial- Yogi and Skrillex

"This is complete torture." Ty jests as he flips through a book of tattoo designs. It's fairly old, I may add. I turn to look at him, laying on my side in the bed.

"Let's not rehash. I'll say when. But until then, you have no say whatsoever." I smile at him, as I stare at my nails. I stare at the ceiling. "It's been two weeks."

Hannah started walking about two weeks ago, right after the altercation in question and now she's been running around everywhere. That's always how I remember when it happened.

"Two weeks is too long." I roll my eyes. "You're really complaining after two weeks when you went your whole nineteen years of waiting- that was long. But two weeks?" I state, but it comes out in a question.

He groans. "Fine." I smile.

The door inches open, squeaking, and ten, almost eleven month old Hannah steps in. "Da!" She squeals.

"Hey, Hannah bear." She stumbles around to his side of the bed, tugging at the sheets. He closes the tattoo book and sets it on the nightstand, and lifts Hannah up onto the bed.

"Who's that?" Ty supports Hannah at her arm pits, her big brown eyes staring at me shyly.

"Ma-m-m-ma." She finally settles with a stutter. "Ma...ma!" She grins, showing off her few teeth. "Mama!" My eyes water, and I try to keep the tears behind, looking at how fast Hannah has grown up.

She's not even one yet, but she has grown up so quickly it seems, words, walking, basically just going from a log, not doing anything, to an actual person, capable of doing things. "Her first actual word." Ty whispers to me, and I nod.

"And who's that?" I point to Ty, who balances Hannah happily on his leg. She looks at him, and squeals. "DA!" She playfully pounds her fists on his legs. He laughs.

"Yeah, it's Da." He chuckles.

After Marcus's death, the Abnegation sector chose to elect Andrew Prior head leader, and Jane Lynn second in command. So Jane is replacing Marcus.

"Hannah, it's going to be a weird day." I talk to Hannah, even though she may not understand me. Olivia can't babysit again- a date with that man of hers, and Marie is out of the faction, in Amity, visiting her brother.

Everyone else I know is at work. I guess I'll have to take Hannah to Abnegation with me for the meeting. I carry Hannah on my hip and her diaper-backpack on my back as I walk out toward the net exit to the train tracks.

I step out in the spring air, smelling the Amity peach farms from this part of the compound. Amity is next to Dauntless, past all of the dilapidated buildings.

I see the train, as it slows when it approaches me. It stops, and I grab the bar, pulling myself in. "Train!"

I bounce Hannah on my hip as it lurches along, picking up speed as we travel further. "Tray!" She pounds her fists on my shoulder and lays her head on my neck.

Abnegation headquarters is directly on the edge of the Abnegation faction sector, near Erudite. The train turns, going down a hill, and Hannah cries. "Shhh." I calm her, and pat her back softly.
