"Maddie, get up," I vaguely hear a voice. It sounds like a mumble, until I'm being shaken.

It's Olivia.

I can't even sleep in on my wedding day! This is blasphemy! "Oh shut up." She groggily groans, placing her arms underneath me.

I must have been thinking out loud. "Wait, why are you—" I can't finish my sentence because she flips me off the bed, and I land on the ground with a thud.

"Ouch." I moan. I lay on the floor for a second, my hands folded over my stomach while I lay on my back. "Madison Pedrad." I smile up at the ceiling. "Mr. And Mrs. Tyler Pedrad." I feel a warm feeling spread across my heart, then wonder what it is.

It must be love, I tell myself. I smile and sit up.

I push myself to stand up and walk to the kitchen. Olivia waits for me when I get there. "Pancakes!" She chants, turning to the stove, pouring thick batter into a skillet.

Abby comes in, her red, curly hair a mess of drastic proportions.

It's frizzy, knotted, and damp from her shower. "I'm going to have to fix this," Ariana says, walking in beside Abby. She points to her hair.

We all laugh, but then there's a knock on the door. Abby walks over and grabs the knob, pulling the door away from the hinges. In steps Hunter.

"Hey, boo." He winks at Ariana and I roll my eyes.

"Why are you here, Hunter?" Abby asks softly.

"Oh, here you go." He hands Abby a piece of paper. "I was sent by the groom to deliver a message to the bride." He smiles at me, his eyes bright.

I smile back at him, and then Abby hands me the note. It's a small white card folded in half. I beam at it. On the front, Maddie is written in a script of sorts—Ty's handwriting. I unfold the card and a message is written in careful lettering.

I can't wait to love you forever! Love, your future husband.

I can't wipe the smile off of my face once I read the note.

Two hours later, I sit in the guest bedroom, in my dress, my Ombré hair tied into a braided bun, and my makeup being touched up by Olivia, who is already finished getting ready.

The rest of the girls are finishing up, and we are about to head to the Pit, where the wedding will be held. It is planned that I will walk down one of the twisting, narrow paths on the wall, which leads to the aisle, where I will stop by Ty.

"I can't believe it." Olivia gushes, her eyes soft.

"You're already getting married. We're almost nineteen, and you're already going to be married." She whispers.

"It all seems so surreal, as if none of this is actually happening and I'm living in a dream." I sigh, then Olivia smiles.

"It's no dream, Maddie. It's your life. You've made a good one, too. Ty seems like a really good guy—he's definitely a keeper." She grins, then winks at me. "You two have fun on your honeymoon tonight, but not too much fun..." Her voice drifts off.
