My feet almost seem to falter as Ty and I walk down the pit paths and the wet, almost slippery chasm paths. We make our way to my mother's house to pick up Hannah and go home.

Ty wraps his arm around me as we begin to walk down the hallway that leads to my parents' house, and eventually end up in front of their door. I lean up to look at Ty and press a quick kiss to his lips, but it turns into a long, sweet kiss. When I pull away for a breath, he knocks on the door.

Soon, my mother opens the door, and seems surprised and also scared when she sees us. "Oh my... Come in!" She exclaims, and we step inside. "Go take a seat on the couch." She instructs us, and we do so with ease.

My mother runs into the kitchen to put away the sponge that was in her hand, and then turns back to us and sits down across from us. "Where have you been?! It's been two weeks! Also, what happened to you?" My mother has the scariest look on her face right now as she bombards us with questions.

I look at Ty, and he bites his cut lip as he looks at me. I then turn to my mother. "We were kidnapped," I say simply. "By Jordan."

"He did horrible things because he didn't want me to be with Ty anymore, and we had to escape, even though he almost shot us!" I say, since my parents have been pretty Pro Jordan and against Ty for awhile. Tell that to dad, mom.

"I'm so sorry." She says after a long period. "Would you like me to go get Hannah?" She asks, and Ty and I both nod. She nods as well, a sad expression on her face as she stands up and walks up the stairs.

"She seemed very surprised that Jordan kidnapped us." I say and Ty sighs. "Yeah, a little too surprised." He says as my mother comes back down the stairs, a gurgling Hannah cradled in her arms.

Ty nearly gasps when he sees Hannah. It seems like it's been years since we've seen her, and I don't blame him. My mother hands Hannah to me, and she begins to squirm, until she realizes it's me.

I kiss her forehead, and Ty looks over my shoulder at Hannah, his arm wrapped around me, the other one caressing Hannah's cheek.

"God, it's been so long," Ty whispers in my ear, "It feels like we haven't seen her in years." I nod as I cradle Hannah close to me. Her eyes begin to slowly close, and I think she's almost asleep.

But alas, she begins to cough, and then she cries. She clings to me, fisting my shirt in her tiny fists, which are white from how tight she's clenched them.

"Oh baby," I say, and my mother stands up, walking into the kitchen, a concentrated look plastered across her face.

"It's been awhile since she's had anything to eat..." She mutters as she walks off, looking into the fridge. "Aha!" She sings as she pulls out a bottle of pre-made formula, shaking it as she walks back to the living room couch.

She hands the bottle to Ty, and he hands it to me. I hold the bottle to Hannah's mouth, and she begins to drink, soon holding it for herself.

I lay my head on Ty's shoulder as he wraps his arm around me. We lean back into the couch, and my mother beams at us. "You two are so adorable." The smile on her face grows even wider, and I feel the heat rushing to my cheeks.

"I still can't believe that Jordan would do that," my mother sighs, and I scoff. "I can." I say sharply. My mother looks a bit taken aback, and I make a face as if saying I'm sorry, and then look back down at Hannah. She's nearly finished with the bottle.
