My Sweet Summer- Dirty Heads

"Where are we going?" I ask him sarcastically as we continue to walk through tunnels of rock and even one of glass.

We finally enter the pit, and I look at Ty closely. "We are going to a special place. One that we haven't been to in a while." He steps close to me, placing his arm behind my lower back.

I see girls looking at Ty, their skimpy clothing making me sick, but he seems not to notice them. I shrug that off.

We finally take a turn and step down a few steps, into the lower pit corridor. I haven't been down here in a while. I look around.

Ropes hang down from the ceiling, holding large lights. This part of the pit is under the part of the pit that has the skylight roof, so no sunlight reaches here.

"Ty-" I say, but he shushes me. We take a turn, and step down a long stairwell, into the darkness. We finally end up in a large room, a dining room, with a bar. I gasp.

"Hey," He says. "You're only fifteen minutes late." I gasp again. Those were the first words he said to me when I met him down here nearly three years ago.

"Ty." I say. We walk over to a table and sit down. He places his left hand on my right thigh, rubbing circles.

"Look at us now. Nearly three years later, and look at us." I smile, and see a large grin cracking at his lips. He kisses my forehead, and I lean my head into his shoulder.

"I had to prove your wrongness of calling me a punk, somehow." He states, making a motion with his hand and then a face. I giggle. "You really are a keeper." I state, softly.

"Only for you." He smirks. I was about to kiss him, but a bartender comes and takes our order. "What do you want?" She asks, annoyed.

"We'll take the barbecue wings." Ty says, laying an arm over my chair. She scribbles something down, then clicks her pen. "That'll be right out." She says shortly, and walks away.

"Now, where were we?" He asks me. "We were here." I say, pulling him to me and kissing him. I pull away after a second though, remembering that we're in public.

A man, the chef, comes out with our food, then returns to the kitchen. "I freaking love you so much." I say. Ty looks at me.

"You're talking about?" He asks me, referencing to our last time here.

Flashback: I take one of the barbecue wings, and take a bite. The warm, juicy sensation of the barbecue encrusted chicken makes my mouth water.

"Enjoying that?" Ty says in mock disgust when he sees my face.

"Yes." I say, putting my chicken wing down on my plate. I wipe my fingers of the sticky barbecue sauce, and pick up my salad fork.

"You, of course." I roll my eyes while smiling. He kisses my cheek when I look at him.

"I never thought, coming in here that day, that that would be the start of our relationship. Which," he starts. "Would lead us to today: Married, a good sex life, and a daughter." He smirks. I grin, placing my head on his shoulder.
