Qrow and Evelyn went to sleep late, or early, depending on how one looked at it, getting what sleep they could before the next day. Ready or not, however, time marches on always. When the sun came up they rose, having breakfast before bringing their things to the cars, driving to the address Acheron had given everyone.
It wasn't extraordinarily far away, but it was out of the way, a big mansion tucked away in a clearing surrounded by forest. If you didn't know it was there, you'd have a hard time finding it.
A long road of sorts led to the garage of the massive property, which was secured by a high wall and gates, with plenty of security systems and trespassing deterrents.
"Wow, this place is beautiful. I didn't know he lived in a place like this..." Hana said, looking around as the gate opened automatically for them.
"Yeah. Only two people live there though. That's probably why he jumped at the chance to have everyone here." Evelyn replied from her car.
"Only two? Poor boy. He seems quite friendly, living in such a large place must get so lonely..."
Hana said. They continued down the driveway into a beautiful multi-car garage which had plenty of space for Qrow and Evelyn to park their Camaros, seeing as the only other car parked in the garage currently was Acheron's Ford GT.
Qrow, Hana, and Evelyn stepped out of their cars, then gathered up their luggage before making their way inside.
The living room was just as luxurious as the exterior of the house would imply. It was very spacious with a soft carpet, a huge and comfortable looking couch, easily big enough for everybody who had been invited and then some alongside a few recliners. There was also a gorgeous coffee table, the stand of which depicted an expansive scene of castles and dragons among other various fantasy elements with a clear glass top, and a massive TV which occupied a large portion of the wall the couch faced.
While Hana was distracted with examining the gorgeously detailed coffee table, a beautiful woman with light blue hair, a kimono that practically screamed 'red-light district' and a bust that rivaled Cinnamon's, entered the room.
"Good morning, Evelyn. And you two must be Qrow and Hana?" She asked.
The three of them turned to face her.
"Indeed. I'm Hana, and this is my husband Qrow. And who might you be?" Hana asked with a soft smile.
"My name is Yuu, I'm Acheron's fiancée." She replied with a soft smile.
"It's nice to meet you all, Acheron has told me so much about you. Feel free to make yourselves at home in the living room, we've planned to get people settled into the rooms once everyone is here so we can make sure the rooms meet everyone's needs." Yuu said with a smile, bowing as she left the room.
Qrow nodded to himself and started setting their bags aside in an organized way before everyone else arrived.
It wasn't long before they could hear everyone else's vehicles pulling into the garage. They came in one by one, everybody marveling at the spaciousness of the living room and making themselves comfortable. Everyone was here, from Kashou and the Minaduki catgirls, to Royal and his buddies Ox and Gold, to Karol and Aki.
Acheron and Yuu came into the living room next, greeting everyone.
"Hello! We're quite excited to have the honor of letting you stay here with us, my Fiancée especially so. We just finished cleaning everything up and all the rooms are ready for you to make yourselves at home." Yuu said with a soft smile.
"Yep. Just make sure to stay out of the two locked rooms. The Master bedroom is mine, and the other locked room is my sister's. She's never home, but nonetheless don't go in there and don't touch her stuff." Acheron added.
Everyone gathered their things and headed to the bedrooms.
Qrow and Hana took a modestly sized but plenty luxurious room, Kashou, Chocola, and Vanilla settled in a cute and spacious room, Evelyn of course helped Royal take one of the much bigger rooms, while Ox took one down the hall next to Gold, their catgirls joining them.
Karol and Aki made themselves comfortable together, and last but not least, Milk got her own small room where she could be comfortable.
The next couple hours were spent unpacking, Qrow having finished quickly, despite him also helping Hana unpack.
Royal took the opportunity to finish swiftly and talk to Qrow for a bit.
"So... You're in Rogue Speed and with the VRT too, but all I really know about you is what your sister told me. But I feel like I should know you better. Why not tell me about yourself?" Royal asked, trying to strike up a conversation.
"Fair enough. What would you like to know?" Qrow asked.
"How about starting with how you met Hana?" Royal asked.
"Technically I first met her when she was really young... I think she was about seven when Evelyn and I were sent to be raised by her family for two years before our service, but I didn't really know her well at the time. We met the way I'm assuming you're thinking of when Evelyn and I returned from our service. Evelyn and I were required to be rehabilitated for civilian life after our service, so they sent us to Hana, who had grown up and moved away from her family while we served. When Evelyn and I returned, the two of us were... Not the best... Service takes its toll. Evelyn was a cold bitch, not at all like the playful live-life-to-the-fullest woman she is now. And me? I was... Incredibly violent, and my fuse was nonexistent. Hana told me I cracked a guy's skull just for muttering something rude after he bumped into me on the sidewalk. Not a lot of people wanted to deal with me and almost everyone feared me. But not Hana. She may seem like a quiet but friendly type, but she doesn't back down. She was determined to rehabilitate us and saw the good in us, the good we could do. She never ever gave up and after all she did for us, for me, I wanted to repay her kindness, so I latched onto her determination and set myself on a path to become better. I promised myself that I would take care of her in return and protect her..." Qrow said.
Hana walked over from the doorway, giving Qrow a sweet kiss and smiling as she sat down next to him.
He gave her a sweet kiss and moved her into his lap before finishing up the conversation.
"Thanks to her I was able to adapt to civilian life and am very happy to this day. I'm sure I'll be happy moving forward as well." He said with a warm smile to his wife.
As they finished their conversation, Yuu entered the room.
"Hana, would you like me to serve Qrow the same thing I'm serving Acheron for lunch?" Yuu asked.
"I'd have to see what's in the recipe, there are certain things Qrow and Evelyn can't eat on account of being Older Generation Humanoid Cats." Hana said, heading into the kitchen with Yuu to inspect the recipes and help make lunch.
All the ingredients were laid out and ready to be prepared, with an open cookbook on a stand. "The Newlywed's cookbook" was opened to a page bearing a recipe for a nice, well balanced meal which was supposedly comprised all sorts of ingredients to improve stamina, sperm count, endurance, and other things which made Hana blush a bit. She giggled a bit at how silly the cookbook was, but clearly the author of the cookbook achieved their goal, as Hana was curious to test the book's claims. The recipe didn't contain anything that'd harm Qrow, at any rate.
Yuu started cooking and Hana joined her, making a nice large portion for Qrow, since he worked so hard last night and early in the morning.
"So, Yuu... You're Acheron's fiancée... How did you two meet?" Hana asked, trying to make con.
Yuu smiled sweetly. "I met him when I transferred to his high-school. My parents were old fashioned and wanted me to find a husband as soon as possible. I was alright with that, but I wanted to go out and find the one on my own, so I went to Palmont. I met him at our high-school and we became fast friends. Summer came and my parents wanted me to go back home to marry a suitor they had chosen, but I really didn't want to, so Acheron and I got engaged and we've been this way for a while now. I couldn't be happier." Yuu replied, delighted.
"How sweet. It's always nice to hear about others who were able to find happiness with someone." Hana said, smiling as they finished cooking.
Yuu gave Hana another smile, then plated some of the food for Acheron.
