[The next day, mid-morning.]

Qrow stood by his Camaro, popping open the hood and giving it a thorough examination in the garage, making sure all the parts were in perfect shape. Everything was pretty good, since it hadn't been used much while he was in his coma, and once he woke up, it saw a bit more use, and plenty of maintenance. As for skill, he may not have any experience with formal racing, but he knew exactly how to handle his car at the crazy speeds it was capable of. Nevertheless, his car may be rust-free, but he decided he should go out and get a bit of practice, so he knew what to be ready for.

As for Evelyn and Hana, they're sitting upstairs, chatting amongst themselves for the moment.

"So... All these years, I almost can't believe he actually did it..." Evelyn said with a soft smile as they sat at the table, admiring the absolutely beautiful engagement ring Qrow had given Hana.

"Indeed... I'm so proud of your brother, and the man he's grown to be... I'm proud of both of you..." Hana said as she stood up to hug Evelyn. As Evelyn hugged back, it was a heartwarming moment.

"Getting all sentimental now, Hana? You're not that much older than we are, and you're plenty healthy, you aren't going to die any time soon..." Evelyn teased, giggling a little.

Hana laughed softly and smiled. "I know I won't, I'm just... Excited... It feels like I'm a young woman again... And even though it's been a good while since you're brother got out of the hospital, it makes me think of the day I took you two in, and how happy I am that we are where we are today..." She said, reminiscing for a moment.

"Mhm... It's nice to think about things for a while... It's very peaceful..." Evelyn replied, the two of them sitting comfortably together at the table by their kitchen.

Meanwhile, Royal, Karol, Coconut are gathered around a table, getting everything ready for the big event they've been planning. Things like spectator parking, racer parking, the track, and all the other important stuff.

Getting a bit sidetracked, Coconut seemed to be brimming with excitement.

"Karol, can you tell me more about the Camaro you saw?" Coconut asked

"You've been obsessing over that thing ever since Karol told you about it. Relax, Coconut." Royal said, smirking softly.

"It was a very pretty car, can you really blame her?" Karol asked, a rhetorical question.

"So, I didn't get a thorough look at all the specifics of the car, but it's definitely not just some tacky ricer, it's been tuned extremely thoroughly. If I had to estimate, it'd probably be in the upper hundreds, mid or lower thousands of horsepower. It's easily had fortunes invested in it to make it as good as it is. I'd almost be afraid to take it on." Karol told Coconut.

Coconut seemed amazed. "Really? But you're such a good racer! Second only to Royal-sama!" She replied.

"Really... It's a pretty menacing piece of machinery... You might want to watch yourselves. And I'm certain the owner wouldn't take even the slightest risk of losing it in a gamble, so don't bother trying to bet slips just so you don't have to think about a car that might just rival yours out there on the road." Karol said, lightly nudging Royal, who had a look on his face like he was about to formulate a scheme.

"However... We are short a member... This event could be a good opportunity to fill out Rogue Speed again. And if the owner can handle that car, we'd be cemented at the top..." Karol said, thinking out loud to try and see what the others think of such an idea. She may be the leader, but it is a democracy after all...

"Is that really the best idea?" Craig Right replied, slightly concerned. "We don't want to let in the wrong people, you know?" He said.

"Don't worry, Royal and I have a pretty good eye for people. Not to mention, that is how we got Royal and Coconut on the team. Coconut is better than I am, and Royal is better than the three of us combined." Karol said, dismissing Craig' concerns.

"Alright then. What about Hana? You did promise that one big guy that you'd give her the best and safest seat... The front rows are nice, but they aren't very safe..." Coconut said to Royal.

"Easy, just put her in the building right behind the drag strip. Best seats in the house, indoors, drinks, the good stuff." Royal replied.

"Yeah! We'll make it a first event they'll never forget!" Coconut said cheerily.

"Well then, works for me, I guess." Craig said, leaning back in his seat.

They all continued to plan, getting everything ready for the event, and dropping off the registration papers for Qrow and Evelyn to race, tucking Hana's pass between the papers as a surprise.

After hours of practice Qrow returned home, happy to see Hana and Evelyn.

"So how did it go?" Evelyn asked, grinning playfully.

"Pretty good. I need to change my tires before the event though, so I think I'll do that while food is cooking. I'll be back up here and get a shower before it's done, alright Hana?" Qrow replied, smiling a little to her as he hugs her.

Hana gives him a kiss and smiles softly. "I don't know a whole lot about these events, but I want you to do well." She said, returning his hug.

Qrow gently pats her back and the hug breaks off. "I'll certainly do my best, Hana..."

Qrow headed down to the garage to change his tires to some nice new ones, as he'd worn out his previous tires practicing, then got a quick shower before eating, and going to bed with Hana.

When the day came, they all got ready for the day, as usual, Hana put the lanyard with her pass around her neck and got into Qrow's '69 Camaro SS with him, while Evelyn got in her '69 Camaro Yenko, driving off to the track for the Rogue Speed event.
