Royal was staying over tonight, and I started thinking to myself. I do love motorcycles, especially American ones, and going down the road it certainly is flashy, but it's not really fast enough to be used for much more than transportation and wheelies, which require really good balance. I looked through my wallet. I had about 600,000,000 ¥ (5 million U.S. Dollars) to spare, and I thought about getting a car. I knew what I wanted, but I didn't exactly know what to put in it. I was looking at a Camaro with a blower and some purple neons. I asked Royal since he's more of the car expert. I know how to repair or replace car parts, but I didn't really know what to put in a car in terms of the modification. I got my car, as brand new as a car from 1969 can be, and all the parts to put in it to get make it nice and fast, as well as the new hood with the gap in it for the blower. I removed the hood and started removing everything I was going to replace. I got most of the parts removed when I heard one of the carjacks creak. "That didn't sound good." I said to myself as I started sliding out from under the car. It creaked again, and snapped, dropping the car on my left shin, shattering it. Everyone must've heard the carjack break because they all came running. "Help me lift the car." I said. Kashou and Royal grabbed onto the side of the car and helped me lift it up. I slid out from under it and called the hospital. I pulled out my phone and took a picture of the broken carjack, and folded it up, bringing it with me. "This'll make one hell of a lawsuit." I said. I was brought to the hospital, they said my shin from the base of my knee down was turned to gravel, so it couldn't exactly heal, so the best option would be to have my lower leg replaced. I woke up a few minutes later and sat up. I went to stand up and fell over with a thud. "Ack." I mumbled when I hit the ground. I pushed myself to a sitting position, and the doctor handed me a pair of crutches. "You should probably get a prosthesis." he said. I handed him the money for the hospital bill. "That sounds like a good idea. I need my arms to fire a gun." I said. "By the way, can you come testify in court for me? I plan on suing the manufacturer that made this carjack." I said, grabbing the broken jack from my trench coat. "Of course." he said. I called a taxi and had them drive me back to the shop. I grabbed my knife and started cutting down my jeans. I pulled out a large sturdy sewing needle and some good tough thread and sewed the end closed. I decided to take a while to do that with all my jeans. The prosthesis I got was one with running spikes. I strapped it on and figured a way to cover the spikes using some of the rubbery material on my combat boots. I cut the rubber to the right size to go fit onto the spikes. I tested it out and it worked fine. I stood up and called a lawyer while I found out where the carjack was manufactured. I got all the information and we arranged when we would go to court. I went out and bought a new carjack. Walking with the prosthesis was a bit awkward, but I eventually got used to it, and I decided to take a walk. I got back without much happening. I made dinner and then we went to bed. I had to take off the leg prosthesis, and I was actually quite comfortable, so I decided to take off my metal arm too, setting it on the nightstand, I kept my eye patch on. I had been wearing long sleeved t-shirts so I tied the sleeve in a knot where my metal arm attached to its base when Vanilla came into the room to come sleep too. After my kids were born and Vanilla and I had used what was Chocola and Vanilla's room for our room and our kids' room, and Chocola started sleeping in Kashou's room we all just got used to it and so it stayed that way. Vanilla sat down on the bed and I pulled her over to me, gently stroking her head. The next morning I woke up a bit late and was feeling a rather tired. I went to stand up, but I fell over again. "Man I have got to get used to that." I said to myself as I pushed myself up. I untied my shirt sleeve, reattached my metal arm, and then strapped on my prosthetic leg. I remembered today was the day I would go to court, so I grabbed my suit and went back into the bedroom to change. I rolled up the pant leg and hemmed it into place. I told everyone I had to go, and that it would be a while before I would be back. I hopped on my motorcycle and got to the place. Our lawyers spoke back and forth for a while and then they finally got around to asking how much I was demanding as compensation. I told them, and everyone was shocked. "How exactly did you come about such a high demand?" the judge asked. "Well there's the cost of the product itself, the cost to replace it, my hospital bill, any damages to my car, my lawyer's bill, the cost of the gas to get here, and some compensation, because it should have been able to lift the side of a normal car with all of it's parts and a full tank of gas. The car I was lifting with the carjack had an empty tank and most of its parts removed, so there's even less reason it should have broken." I said. "Now that I think about it that seems fair enough." the judge said. A few more hours passed with our lawyers talking back and forth, and I finally got my money. I handed my lawyer the money for the bill in cash, and went to the bank to cash in my check. I went from the bank back to the shop, and changed back into my normal clothes, had dinner, and went to sleep.
