Chapter 62

I was walking alone along the street when I saw a building on the verge of collapsing and noticed a small munchkin catgirl (like Azuki) with white hair and blue eyes inside which reminded me of Vanilla. I lured her closer and got her safely away when the building collapsed, crushing my left arm under heaping piles of brick, pinning me to the ground. Someone came over to me, but I couldn't exactly see who it was through my blurred vision. "We can't move the rubble without a bulldozer, so the best course of action is to take your arm off at the shoulder," They said. I clenched my teeth and my vision went black then cleared up as they cut off my arm. I was patched up at a hospital and I went to see the engineer, then returned home. I pulled off my Skillet hoodie and hung it up when Milk and Vanilla hugged me. I smiled and gently rubbed their heads. The shop was preparing to open so I put on my shop uniform and headed downstairs. Everyone else got ready and came downstairs as well, even Milk had her own shop uniform. I drummed my fingers on the counter in boredom as I cashiered. I pulled out my Colt Navy 1851 and polished it while I waited. The shop sold out quickly and we closed early, like, really early. I changed back into my regular clothes and worked on my car for a bit. Halfway through what I was doing, I felt something grab hold of my tail and all the strength drained from my muscles as I began to purr. I heard Chocola meowing as she played with my tail. "Dammit Chocola!" I shouted from under my car. "Nyaah!?! Sorry! Chocola couldn't help herself! Your tail was swishing around and looked so enticing Chocola just had to swat at it!" Chocola responded, letting go of my tail. I recomposed myself and slid out from under my car. I pulled a feather lure out of a pocket and dangled it in front of her face. "NYAH!!!!!!" She meowed as she pounced on it, landing on me and knocking me to the ground. I gently pushed her off me and she continued to play with the feathered lure. I finished up what I was doing with my car and we went back upstairs to relax in the apartment. There was going to be a festival tonight so I bought a kimono, something I hadn't worn in a long time. Everyone came over to the shop, even Karol, and Aki. I pulled on my regular shoes and we waited for night. Nighttime fell and we went to the festival. We came across a dart game which you could play for prizes, mostly cheap stuffed animals. Chocola, Vanilla, and Milk all wanted one. I handed the guy some cash and he handed me a stack of darts. I threw them one by one and won them the prizes. "C-could I get one too?" Coconut asked. "You really are a kitten at heart. Sure," I said with a smile. I threw a few more darts and landed them all perfectly and the guy handed her one as well. We continued on our way and enjoyed the rest of the festival. We returned home to the shop and we all got ready for bed. I lay down on the bed with Milk and Vanilla and turned off the light, then felt someone or something really small curl up on top of my chest whom I recognized as Azuki. I decided I wasn't going to question it and instead just fell asleep. I woke up the next morning to find Azuki blushing heavily and staring at me, still curled up on my chest. She seemed really nervous and we just kinda stared at each other awkwardly. She slid off me and rushed out of the room. I carefully slid out of the bed, making sure not to wake Milk and Vanilla and saw Azuki laying on the couch, hiding her face in one of the throw pillows. I sat down and put a hand on her shoulder. "Go away..." Azuki hissed. "Now now, no need to be so hostile," I said, gently scratching her head. She started to hiss but it gave way to purring. She calmed down and sat up. "I went into your room by accident last night since I was drunk, thinking it was Ox's room and when I woke up with a hangover to find not only was I in the very wrong room certainly not cuddling with Ox, I saw how peaceful Milk and Vanilla looked and I think I kinda wanted to..." Azuki trailed off. "Wanted to what?" I asked with a grin. Azuki blushed and looked away. "I wanted to..." Azuki still seemed unable to say what she wanted to say out of embarrassment. "...With you..." Azuki said. Vanilla walked over. "Wanted to what with him?" Vanilla asked, smiling deviously. "Please no! Not again!" Azuki pleaded as Vanilla started to grab hold of her. "Fine, you'd better tell him, though," Vanilla replied, letting go. "I-I kinda fell in love with you..." Azuki said as Vanilla sat down.

I smiled and gently scratched her head as she closed her eyes and purred, blushing heavily. I kissed her and then got up. She lay back down on the couch resting her head on one of the throw pillows. I made breakfast and everyone else woke up. After breakfast, Azuki, Milk, Vanilla, and I were cuddling and Royal left with Coconut to go do something. "Hey... Qrow... I noticed May-chan and Azu-chan both seemed to fall for you, as well as Milk, I was wondering... Might we be able to try again?" Cinnamon asked, blushing. Vanilla smiled to Cinnamon and I gently pulled her into the pile as well. We moved into the bedroom where we could be more comfortable and Vanilla, Milk, Cinnamon, and I all cuddled on the bed. (Azuki probably went off to Ox's room instead)

(Time skip! Hehe.) 

Milk curled up on top of me while Vanilla lay down on my right side and Cinnamon lay down on my left side, sleeping on pillows I put over my shoulders. 

(Steel isn't a very cuddly material and he's had both arms replaced now.)

I lay still and let them sleep for a while. After a few hours, they woke up and we took a shower, then I made lunch and relaxed for the rest of the day.

(Sorry if this chapter was disorganized or just plain all over the place, my sister got me sick once again.)
