(Fast forward 2 years, Shigure is 18 now and has a good, well-paying job and lives at the Minaduki household with Coconut, Cinnamon, Maple, and Azuki. Qrow is 37.) I woke up at the Minaduki household for the last time with Vanilla. I made breakfast for everyone and after breakfast, Vanilla and I said goodbye to everyone else and I packed up my stuff. I checked a calendar and also realized it was Lemon and Raven's birthday. I went out and purchased a butterfly knife and some neon green spray paint and clear coat. The knife was already black, so I just used a stencil to paint neon green flames on it. I finished the process of painting it, then folded it up and tied a ribbon around the hilt. I went to the shop and walked upstairs and handed Raven the wooden box with the ribbon tied around it, then handed Lemon the butterfly knife. "That's not all, come with me," I told Lemon. We went and got him a gun license and I bought him a pair of custom made .45 Derringers with slightly straightened pearl grips and had them custom painted black (The grip stays pearl, though.) with neon green flames.

(Imagine a pair of Derringers crossed with Reaper's Hellfire shotguns, but they fire .45 pistol ammunition instead of shotgun shells and they have neon green flames extending from the end of the barrels and falling just short of ending near the trigger.)

I handed him the wooden box with the pair of pistols inside and he smiled and thanked me. The next day it was rather hot and I was laying down on the couch with my shirt off. I reached down to my jeans and unzipped the zipper that connected the leg portions of my jeans from about the knees down to the shorts themselves and folded them up, setting them off to the side. I pulled off my dog tag chain and looked at my keys. I had the key to my gun case, the keys to the two doors in the shop, the keys to the metal shutters, the key to my Camaro, the key to my RX7, and the key to my motorcycle. "Perhaps I should get some of my keys copied with certain designs so my keyring looks a bit more organized," I thought to myself as I lay back down. Kashou and Chocola were gone on a vacation for a while, but Vanilla and I stayed at the shop. Karol and Aki came upstairs. I grinned. "Been a while," I said as I sat up again, putting my tag chain back around my neck. I pulled a hair tie out of one of my pockets and tied my hair back in a ponytail quickly. "Oh, hey Qrow, it has been quite a while," Karol said as she and Aki sat down on the couch. I grabbed my gun case and unlocked it, pulling out a set of throwing knives. I walked into the empty room I used for stuff like throwing knives or darts as well as sparring. Aki and Karol walked in as well and stood off to the side. I fanned the knives in my left hand and used my right hand to throw the knives. I threw each one and hit each one as close to the center as each previously thrown knife would allow. I pulled the knives out of the target and set them back in my gun case. Royal sat down on the couch with Raven, who was wearing shorts and a white tank top and Karol cuddled up next to Royal as well. "Let's go to our room where it's nice and air conditioned," Vanilla whispered to me. She and I walked into our bedroom and I lay down on the bed and Vanilla changed into one of her nightgowns and cuddled up next to me. I gently scratched her head. Vanilla blushed and pressed up against me and spaced out. She seemed to snap back to reality. (Time skip!) Vanilla was sleeping soundly and I carefully slid out of bed. I pulled on my jeans and walked out to the living room with Ox and Royal. I grabbed my poker set and we played a few games while Raven, Karol, Aki, and Vanilla all rested. An hour or two later Vanilla walked out in her nightgown and cuddled up next to me. Next up to come out was Karol who I noticed was wearing a collar. We finished our poker game and I beat everyone. They passed up their money and I went out and bought and air conditioner. I carried the box upstairs and put it in a window, using a screw gun to stick it in place. I plugged it in and turned it on. After a few minutes, the room was substantially cooler. I went out again and went to a jewelry shop. I bought a platinum necklace chain. I had it put in a box and I tied a ribbon around it and bought a gold bracelet as well. When I got back home Raven was luckily still sleeping and I handed the box containing the platinum necklace to Royal and told him to give it to Raven, handing Karol the box with the gold bracelet. Raven woke up and came out. Royal handed her the box and she opened it. "Thank you!" Raven said, giving Royal a kiss. Raven sat down on the couch and I unhooked her collar. I took her bell off her collar and put it on the platinum necklace chain. I hooked the necklace chain around her neck and she cuddled up with Royal and Karol. Vanilla and I were walking around town and we were walking by an alley when I felt something really hard whack me in the face. I don't remember much of what happened, but I remember sitting in an empty dusty building with a couple women standing over me, one was holding an aluminum baseball bat and I couldn't think straight. One of the women dragged Vanilla out in front of me and pulled out a gun and the one with the baseball bat gave me a whack in the ribs. "You bastard... You're the one who killed my husband... We had no money... We were desperate... What else was he supposed to do?" She asked. I probably would've answered her if I had any cognitive function. The one who had the gun held it to Vanilla's head. Vanilla started crying. "You took him from me, now I take her from you," The one holding the bat said. Eventually, my brain realized I don't need any cognitive function to beat them to a pulp, just adrenaline, and natural instincts. The room around me glowed red. I hadn't seemed to notice at the time, but like the purple, blue, or pink flames that have occurred before, these flames were blood red, but they were 10 feet long, (That includes Qrow's 6-foot height, so the flames drag along the ground about 4 feet behind him.) dragging along the floor behind me, leaving scorch marks on the wood. I stood up quickly and slammed into the one holding the gun. I snapped the ropes binding my wrists, then shapeshifted into a huge black lion and the red flames manifested themselves into its mane, eyes, claws, tongue, and a small flame at the tip of its tail. I roared at them and mauled them both to death in a blind rage, from what Vanilla told me. I remember standing up and having a massive headache and collapsing. I woke up on the couch in the shop with a headache and sat up. I clutched my head then put a hand on my ribs and it came away bloody. I grabbed my first aid kit and patched up my ribs. I felt my ribs again. "Okay, nothing was broken, good," I said. I clutched my head and nearly fell over, groaning in pain. Vanilla stood by my side making sure I was okay. "I'm anything but okay right now, my brain feels like it wants to explode," I said with a groan. Vanilla brought me some pain medicine and a drink. After a few minutes, I felt better, but I still had a headache. I lay back down and noticed my hair was blood red and pulled into a braid that ended at my knees. "That looks awesome," I said. I focused and then noticed the flames went from red to purple. "I can control the color, that's cool," I said to myself. I focused again and the flames went away, but my hair somehow retained the 10-foot length, still braided to the point where it went to the back of my knees. I heard someone coming up the stairs and saw Hana. "Hi Hana," I said. "Hi, Qr... Damn what happened to you? Cool braid by the way," Hana said. I told her what Vanilla told me had happened. "It was the wife of one of the men I killed when they tried to rob a bank quite a while ago, she must've held a grudge," I told Hana. Raven, Karol, and Aki all came out to the living room and sat down on the couch with me. "Wait... Are you Karol Munro? The leader of Rogue Speed?" Hana asked. I pointed out the poster tacked to the wall above the couch. "The gang's all here," I said with a snicker. Royal called Coconut out to the living room with us. Hana stared in disbelief. Hana stuck around for a while then left. I was walking around town when I came across a couple wanted dead or alive posters, wanted for several acts of terrorism and homicide. A guy by the name of Jack, 5 feet tall, medium length black hair, dark brown eyes, and very pale. The other wanted poster was a girl who was an accomplice of Jack, whose name was unknown. 5 feet tall as well, longer black hair and icy blue eyes. The reward was huge. I took the posters and tucked them in my pocket. I came across a couple abandoned buildings and searched them. To my surprise I actually found them... "Who are you and how did you find us!" Jack shouted at me, waving a gun. "Random chance honestly, but now I think you're going to come with me," I said. "You'll never take us alive!" The woman shouted. "Fine by me," I said, reaching inside my Rogue Speed jacket for my S&W .500 revolver and loading it with 12 gauge ammunition. 5 shots and they were both peppered with shotgun pellets. I called the police and they were cleaned up and another officer handed me a briefcase full of money. I headed back home and handed Vanilla some of the money. "Buy yourself something nice," I said. Vanilla kissed me and I split the rest with Royal. We relaxed for the rest of the afternoon in the AC'ed living room and Vanilla cuddled with me for a while.
