I woke up good and early and grabbed an energy drink out of my mini-fridge as I started breakfast. Vanilla walked over to me and pressed herself up against me, purring softly. I gently rubbed her head, and she went over to curl up on the couch while I finished cooking the food. The weather was bad so the opening of the shop was delayed. Crime rates had been rising exponentially, so I came up with an idea. With my new super fast car, a trip to the nearest town with a gun shop could be done within a few hours, rather than a few days, so I decided to get a gun specifically for the defense of the shop. There were a couple perfectly sized drawers in the counter, so I went out and purchased and registered a 9 millimeter pistol, a Colt defender, and suppressors for them, as well as a few boxes of ammunition for each of them. I took some cloth and polystyrene foam, and cut the foam to fit inside the drawer, as well as to fit the 9 millimeter pistol and magazine inside of two holes in it. I then covered the bottom and sides of the foam with some of the cloth, put some of the cloth inside the holes and over the flat parts of the top of the polystyrene foam so all the foam was covered, and then I dropped the magazine out of the pistol as I stuck the handgun and it's magazine in the indentations. I then slid the tray into the drawer, which I had pulled out of the counter, and slid the drawer back into the counter. I grabbed the second drawer and lined it with the cloth, and stuck the boxes of ammunition inside it. I unhooked the special holster I had and pulled out my revolver, swapping it for the pistol as I stuck my revolver in the gun rack inside the glove box of my car. The shop was set to open in a few minutes so I pushed up the window shutters and unlocked the doors, hooking the latch that held the security door open. It was rather hot today so I went upstairs, took off my trench coat and changed into a short sleeved shirt. The suppressor for my .45 was still in a case and I remembered I forgot to put it on my gun. I attached it to the .45 and put it back in my holster as I grabbed a black hair tie and brought my hair back into a ponytail. I put on my aviators and walked back downstairs, with my DP-12 hanging off of the back of my chair. A person walked in wearing a hat and aviators. They looked similar to Clarence, but I couldn't be sure unless I watched him carefully. He hadn't driven a car, which was one reason I was unsure, and with how I fractured his skull, unless he's either the biggest dunce, stupidly stubborn, or he got a concussion along with his busted face, I couldn't exactly be sure he was Clarence. He seemed drunk, so I watched him even more carefully. He started harassing Vanilla. There it was. I didn't care if he was Clarence or not. I stood up and walked over to him as Vanilla tried to get away from him. I grabbed hold of his shoulder. "Tell you what pal, you're going to put her down now. Or else..." I said. "Or what? Kitty's going to scratch me?" He said. "No... I'll goddamn MAUL YOU!" I said, turning the knob on my metal arm to reveal the three blades. "You want to go? I'll beat you to a pulp!" He said. "Oh you think so?" I said. I turned the knob again, retracting the blades. "Too scared?" He said, taunting me. "Nope. YOU should be afraid." I said, grabbing onto the back of his head. "Still think I'm bluffing eh?" "Your funeral." I said as I bashed his face against my knee. I called the police, and they asked us what happened. "Basically what happened was that he walked into the shop, and I thought he looked suspicious, so I decided to keep a close eye on him, after a few minutes he began harassing Vanilla, my catpanion here. Harassment is illegal, and I didn't really appreciate him harassing her, so I walked over and told him to stop. He just looked at me and laughed, probably thinking I was bluffing, and wouldn't let go of her, so I continued trying to get him to let go peacefully. He still didn't let go of her, and continued taunting me, so as you can see, at least if you look hard enough, by the blood on the knee of my jeans, I proved to him I wasn't bluffing, and I bashed his face on my knee, knocking him unconscious." I said. "Is this correct?" The police officer asked Vanilla. "Yeah." She said, still a little nervous. "Okay then." He said, and he left. Vanilla and I went back inside, and I sat down in my chair. Vanilla came over and kissed me. She sat down in my lap, and nuzzled up against my chest. "Aww, you two look so cute!" One customer said as I started gently scratching Vanilla's head. I just looked at them and smiled. Vanilla yawned and fell asleep, and I wrapped my arms around her so she wouldn't fall off my lap. "Do you mind if I take a picture?" They asked. "I don't mind, and she's asleep, even if she wasn't I don't think she would have a problem with it." I said. "Thank you." He said, pulling out his phone. They took a quick picture and sat back down, and we quietly chatted for a while.

(Quick pause to explain Qrow's situation with Cinnamon, and to explain the reason I'm going to use for why they aren't really in love anymore. Qrow loved her for a while but after a while, but having become Kashou's catpanion which we can all agree will happen in vol. 3 and that they don't really see each other often the feelings between them faded, so now it's just him and Vanilla. That will be the canonical reason. The true reason, is because I had a collection of screenshots from the Nekopara VNs and some included Cinnamon, and she looked so cute I just had to include her as a love interest, so it was somewhat a spur of the moment thing, and I didn't really think about whether I wanted to take Qrow's relationship any further, say something official.)

(Haha now you're going to be wondering what I mean by official. I won't tell you. Unless you've pieced it together, you're just going to have to wait. I will give you one hint though. They already have kids, I don't think the list of characters needs to get longer, so think bigger, and remember, knot.) (Back to the story.)

It was closing time, so I gently picked Vanilla up and carried her upstairs and went to go close up the shop. After dinner I took a shower and went to bed.
