Meanwhile, Acheron sat at a desk in his room, sighing as he pulled up a contact in his phone. He stared at his phone for a moment, dreading the phone call ahead of him.
Nonetheless he hit the call button, the phone ringing for a moment before she picked up.
"What is it this time, little brother? Totaled your precious GT again?" She asked.
"Nikki, shut up and put your man on the phone." Acheron replied, irritated.
The phone was handed off and now Darius responded.
"Hello?""I want my fucking Enzo back, dickhead. I know you or one of your fucking goons has it." Acheron replied bitterly.
Darius audibly sucked in through his teeth, sarcastically mimicking someone about to deliver bad news. "Yeeeaaahhh about that. No can do, kid. I'm a little busy dealing with Wolf and his totaled Murcielago-"
"MY. Murcielago." Acheron interrupted.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. You're gonna have to deal with that on your own. Unless you want to help me out with the Samurai problem." Darius said.
"Good luck with that, nobody knows shit about the Samurai street racers except their name and their insignia graffitied here and there in a lot of cities." Acheron replied.
"Well they shot up Wolf's car, so they're definitely in town." Dairus said.
"Whatever. If you're not going to give my car back then go fuck yourself. Oh, and I'm going to make damn sure that your bullshit catches up to you one day." Acheron said, hanging up as there was a knock on the bedroom door.
"Come in." Acheron replied.
Yuu came in, bringing him a plate of food.
"Hey, sweetie, you seem stressed out. Everything okay?" Yuu asked.
"Yeah, just some shit with that guy from Palmont again." He said, sighing as she set the plate down in front of him.
"Eat up, I'll wait in bed for you and we can get all your stress out, okay?" Yuu said with a slight giggle, giving him a kiss.
"Thanks so much, sweetie." Acheron said, returning her kiss and making himself comfortable, eating the amazing food she cooked for him.
After enjoying the food he got into bed with Yuu, who helped relieve his stress by indulging him in the softness of her body, comforting him quite a bit. When they finished, Yuu cuddled up next to him wrapping her arms around his neck to sleep, while Acheron stared up at the ceiling thinking to himself.
"Let's hope it doesn't escalate... I have three courses of action... One I see ending the same as it did before... One might escalate things... One would be to take a gamble against a stacked deck... Who am I kidding. They burned the Patisserie down, it doesn't escalate much more than that. They're the Stacked Deck and they aren't going to act any different unless someone makes them act differently. Time to shuffle the deck, motherfuckers..." Acheron muttered to himself, the gears starting to turn in his head as he formulated a plan, pulling his phone out and sending a message in a group text.
The next morning, Royal called all the racers, Acheron included, into the living room.
"Alright so, the Patisserie was burned down by Darius and his Stacked Deck goons. We need to start getting out there and showing them what's good." Royal said.
Acheron nodded slightly.
"So we're dealing with the Stacked Deck, are there any other gangs around that we might need to know about?" Qrow asked.
"With the news yesterday, the Samurai clan might be around. The Samurai don't typically show themselves so openly, but this time they may have taken a stance. We can't prove it was really them but Wolf, one of the high up Stacked Deck guys was on the news. His car was shot up and totaled. The cops found it graffitied too. It said the Stacked Deck wasn't welcome in their territory." Acheron said.
"Well, where is their territory?" Karol asked.
"Don't know. Nobody does but them. They don't usually go after others like this, so if they decided, they could consider the whole city their turf. They're secretive enough they would go utterly unnoticed even in other gangs' territories." Acheron replied.
"Anyway my point was that you might want to work with them if you find them. The enemy of your enemy is your friend and all that." Acheron added.
"Aight. Sounds good to me, how 'bout you guys?" Royal asked.
Everyone agreed.
"Sounds like a plan, then. We'll head out tonight." Royal said with an affirmative nod.
They split up, enjoying the rest of their day, while Acheron worked on planning a building project.
Later that night, they headed down to the garage, hopping in their cars.
"Alright, time to stir up trouble." Royal said to no-one in particular, pulling out his phone and making a social media post.
"Alright, that's caused quite a stir. Now time to get to the Bayshore Route and get ready." Royal said.
"We'll be right behind you." Karol replied.
Evelyn came dashing down to the garage with a grin on her face.
"You guys weren't about to go off and have fun without me, were you?" She asked.
"Mine may not be fast enough to stand any chance of winning, but you'll need someone to flag, won't you?" She added.
"... Come in your Camaro, so we don't have to pick you up after, alright?" Qrow replied.
"Of course." Evelyn said with a smile, hopping in her car.
With everything set to go, they all drove out, headed to the Bayshore Route with a couple of flares. As was to be expected, around a hundred drivers showed up, Rogue Speed included. Evelyn collected the bets, two hundred 30 million yen cash, in a duffel bag...
She zipped up the bag, stashing it for the moment, then got ready to flag the race, pulling a handkerchief from her pocket, flattening her ears to her head as everyone's engines revved so they wouldn't deafen her.
She lifted it halfway. "Ready."
Then moved it overhead. "Set!"
"GO!" She said, swinging the handkerchief downward as the cars sped past her.
