Chapter 5 pt 1

I was feeling rather energetic again today and the shop was closed. Before everyone woke up I went out (because for some reason a hardware store was open this early) and I bought some metal shutters for the windows and a security door and after everyone woke up I had them installed and as it was still a patisserie I bought sturdy but decorative ones and Kashou and I had the only keys. Mine were attached to my collar, so you certainly weren't going to steal them from me, and Kashou attached them to his key ring. A little while later we went out for a walk around town and also to restock supplies. Apparently, Chocola and Vanilla didn't notice the keys on my collar until now and asked what they went to. I told her they went to the window shutters and the security door. "But doesn't Master have the key to that door? How can there be more than one?" she tilted her head a little bit to the right, confused. "You probably haven't seen one yet but in hardware stores you can buy 'blank' keys or keys that don't have the jagged parts in them and if you have the original key and you stick it on one side, then stick the blank key into another slot it will make the blank key into an exact copy of the original, and you can buy the blank keys with all sorts of patterns and stuff," I told her, and then showed her by copying Kashou's key to the main shop door (the wooden door) which I didn't have yet and she look at it, amazed. (Anyway back to the story!) We continued walking down the street and we went to a part of town where not many people lived and it was rather quiet. Too quiet... Then I heard footsteps. They weren't Chocola's, Vanilla's or Kashou's, so whose were they?... "Look out!" I shouted, drawing my shotgun and whipping around to see who it was. But I was too late...
