(from Vanilla's perspective.)
Qrow and I were going out for a ride on his motorcycle for a delivery, but it was rather far away. All was going well until Qrow cursed under his breath, there was a red light coming up but he couldn't stop. He pulled me towards him and jumped off the motorcycle, the motorcycle kept going until it fell over and skidded a short way. We didn't land very softly, we (rolled?) quite a way before we stopped. I was only slightly bruised, but Qrow was bleeding a lot and was unconscious, but luckily was still alive, I couldn't wake him up so I called an ambulance, and we went to a hospital where he was bandaged up. They managed to stop the bleeding but he was in a coma. We visited the hospital for the next several days, but his condition didn't improve much. Then one day, the doctors said he couldn't be saved. A few minutes later, his heart stopped. Everyone was crying, I was kneeling by his bedside. I started to get up to leave, when I heard someone cough, Qrow sat up, putting a hand on my shoulder as the heartbeat monitor started beeping again. I turned around and went back and hugged him. He held me close and started coughing a little bit. "I'm not going to die, not today." He said in a raspy, determined voice. I was crying even harder, but I was happy he was alive. "It's okay now." he said to me in a reassuring voice. "I don't plan on going anywhere for a long time." he said. The doctors came in, surprised. They said it was a miracle, and that he seemed fine now, he'd just have some scars and would have to go through therapy for a while to make sure everything's alright, but other than that he would be fine and able to return to the shop soon.
(Qrow's perspective)
I don't remember much after the motorcycle (crash?) but what happened was that the brakes weren't working and it was essentially grab Vanilla and hop off the high speed vehicle or crash and possibly die. I chose the first option. I hopped off the motorcycle and hit the ground, I got knocked out soon after hitting the ground, and a while later woke up in the hospital with Vanilla kneeling by my bed, crying, whispering something about how I couldn't die. I coughed because my mouth and throat were quite dry, and she started to leave when I put a hand on her shoulder, telling her that I don't plan to die for quite some time, and she turned around and hugged me. A couple doctors came in saying something about how I died, but I came back to life somehow, and that it was a miracle. I was hugging Vanilla when I asked about my motorcycle. They said my motorcycle was fine but the paintjob was completely gone on one side, I quietly cursed under my breath and handed them money for my hospital bill, then walked out with Vanilla. I took my motorcycle and had someone tow it to the nearest mechanic's shop to get it checked out and repainted. Apparently the brakes failed, so I had to get those replaced and I got it repainted, boy was it expensive. While they were working on my motorcycle I took Vanilla and we walked to a restaurant because I was hungry and seriously needed a drink because I had apparently been out for a week or two. We got back and my motorcycle was good as new. "Ready to try again?" I said to Vanilla, "I don't know... You did almost die..." Vanilla said, unsure. Vanilla hopped on anyway, and we went back to the shop. I saw Chocola walking up to the door. I had a fedora on and a new pair of aviators and I walked in the door because it was unlocked. Chocola asked who I was, and Vanilla stifled a laugh. "No-one in particular." I said in a voice only slightly different to my normal one. Chocola started talking to me about how a friend of hers, Qrow, died earlier today. "Are you sure he's dead?" I said, reaching for my fedora. "That's what the-" She started to say as I took my hat off, then pulled off my aviators sticking them in a pocket. I hugged Chocola. She was really happy. She went to tell Kashou. From the sound of it he didn't believe her, telling her something about seeing people you lost because you can't accept that they're dead. I quietly snuck upstairs "It's not nice to talk about someone like they're dead, especially when they're standing right behind you." I said with a laugh. "What the hell?" Kashou said, then he turned around. "Did you seriously have that little faith in me?" "A simple motorcycle accident isn't going to kill me." I said. He hugged me too, glad to see I was alive. "I'll be right back, I've gotta let everyone else know I'm alive." I said, heading to the Minaduki household. I quietly walked into the living room, everyone was kneeling around a candle. I quietly walked up and started kneeling too. I got back up and sat on a chair, nonchalantly. Everyone else started standing up and were about to go back to their daily routines when they noticed me. They all came over to me as I stood up. They were glad I was alive as well, and I talked with them for a while before heading back to the patisserie. When I got back I sat on the couch with Vanilla and I took a nap.
