(Still winter.)

Today was the last day of our little vacation and I made breakfast before we had to go home. I handed Vanilla a plate of food and after breakfast, I gave her a massage. We got dressed and packed up our stuff. I stuck the bags in the trunk and also tossed the venison I had left in the cooler in the trunk. Vanilla hopped in the passenger side and I drove back to the shop. The shop seemed to be having a slow day today. Raven seemed to be flirting with a guy, which I didn't really mind. "Don't turn around." She whispered to him. "Why?" He asked, turning around. I casually waved to him and he smiled and waved back. "Who are they?" He asked Raven. "My parents." She said. "Oh... I can see the family resemblance," He replied. After the shop closed he came up to speak with me. "Your daughter made it seem like you're a scary guy but you seem pretty chill." He said. "I won't give you the same lecture every other father does, I don't mind you seeing my daughter and I don't want to scare off every guy she meets with the shotgun polishing, go dig me a hole 5ft tall 6 ft deep 3 ft wide lecture, so don't get me wrong I don't disapprove of you seeing my daughter, but just know, if you love her, that's fine, if you hurt her, I will skin you alive with a rusty knife," I said. "Got it." He replied. "Good. I just don't want to scare off every guy because her father's a giant scary bodyguard." I said, halfheartedly twirling my cane in my left hand. "You seem more chill than most other fathers I've talked to, that lecture was faster and less terrifying than the shotgun polishing lecture, while still getting your point across clearly." He said. "Good," I said, giving him a pat on the back. He headed home and Raven asked me what I told him. "Don't worry, I didn't scare him off, I don't want to scare off every guy you meet, just making sure you're in good hands when you find the person you've been looking for," I said. "Thanks." She replied, giving me a hug. I hugged her back and gently scratched her head. She started purring and then I heard my spine pop a couple times. "You've grown into quite the strong young woman, perhaps you can follow in your father's footsteps, let me and Vanilla retire," I said with a snicker. "I'm just kidding, I don't feel like retiring until I need to. Following in my footsteps sounds like it'd be a good idea, though." I said. Raven snickered and sat down on the couch. Royal walked over. "Did you give that chump the shotgun polishing lecture?" He asked, snickering. "Not exactly. I got my point across and did it without scaring him off." I said. "Hmm. If it's fine with you then." He said, sitting down on the couch, jokingly hitting on Raven. I gave him a light punch in the shoulder and Raven blushed. "You don't get to hit on Raven, you've already got the two, as Azuki would refer to them, 'big booby catgirls', Cinnamon and Coconut, not to mention Karol, you don't need four, so keep your damn pants on, or I'll be driving you out to a field to dig a 6 foot hole in the dirt," I said jokingly. I sat down on the couch as well, and Vanilla sat in my lap, nuzzling up against me. I rubbed her head and she quickly fell asleep. I watched Lemon and Chocola playing with one of the cat toys in the corner and got up to cook some food. A few weeks later it began to warm up again. (beginning of spring now.)  "Now that it's warmed up would anyone like to go roller skating?" I asked. "Roll-ur Skay-ting?" Chocola asked. I explained it to her. "Oh, that sounds like fun!" Chocola said. I bought Chocola and Vanilla some roller skates and bought myself a set of rollerblades that just strapped over my boots and a skateboard. I strapped on the roller blades and we went around town for a while. Although it was quite a fun excursion, by the time we got back everyone else was really tired. Chocola, Vanilla, Kashou, Lemon, and Raven all decided to take a nap. I got a call from Royal. "Rogue Speed is hosting an event in town, would you like to try your hand at racing?" He asked. "Sure, sounds like fun, let me get my car and I'll be there in a few," I said, hanging up the phone. I removed all the junk from the trunk of my car and set my guitar on a stand. I grabbed a brush and put my hair in a braid. I grabbed my cane sword and set it down in the passenger's seat, putting on my aviators. I grabbed a roll of duct tape and secured down the portable CD player some more. I popped in a Skillet disc I also got in America and flipped the switch for the roof of the car to retract and rolled down the windows. I put on my trilby (the proper term for what I accidentally called a fedora.) and drove to the event. I left a text for Kashou, telling him where I went in case he woke up while I was gone, which was quite likely. I got to the event and parked my car. I flipped the switch and the roof went back up. I turned off the CD player and stepped out of my car. Royal and Karol walked over. I put my aviators in a pocket inside my trench coat and set my trench coat on the passenger's side seat. Karol handed me a suit and gloves, and Royal handed me my helmet, both black, the suit had purple flames that stretched from the bottom of the pant legs of the suit to just above my knees and the sleeves also had the purple flame pattern, which stretched from the knuckles of the gloves, then followed up the sleeves all the way to my shoulders, while the helmet had a large skull painted on it with purple flames extending from the edges of the skull as if to be acting almost like hair. (Like Angel Rider, but purple flames instead of light blue ones.)
